Clean & Shine

Our basement flooded due to a faulty sump pump. There was at least 4 inches of water due to the heavy rains and nothing to pump the water away from the foundation. This wasn't identified till we returned from work which was after 7pm. We called Clean and Shine restorations that evening. They were on site by 8am the next day. Edwin Jeminez and 4 others arrived with all equipment necessary to complete the task.

They were truly professional and kept us at ease throughout the process. The estimate prior to the work starting was exactly what they charged (no games or hidden fees). Gary was compassionate offing assistance with the insurance company. This is a great company and we will definitely recommend them to all of our family and friends!

Occasionally you have an absolutely perfect experience with a home repair/improvement company. This was one of those experiences. Gary was incredibly knowledgable about mold remediation, he was an absolute pleasure to work with and, bonus, his work was reasonably priced. His employees were equally knowledgable and pleasant. I was so impressed that I rolled up a carpet for him to take and and have cleaned before he left. (He did a great job on that too.) One last thing. he returns calls quickly! Definitely hire this guy!

Clean and Shine did a great job doing mold remediation in our townhouse. Sia first came out to check the house for mold and was very helpful with letting me know what the issues were. He was professional, courteous, and very good at what he does. Then, the team came out to do the mold remediation. Edwin and Angelina were also very thorough, professional, and courteous. Edwin even took time to patiently answer my questions about the process and give some pointers on the situation. Then, Gary was very helpful and took time to answer questions and go the extra mile to make sure that we were satisfied. What a great team! Highly recommend them!

I'd also like to commend Clean and Shine for absolutely fantastic work. I had a good feeling after finding them on BBB, which means they stand behind their work. Second, Gary was patient and courteous as I repeatedly fell behind in communicating with him. Third, his man showed up on-time for the estimate, which was very competitive. Finally, they did the work they promised promptly and carefully and did a great job removing the mold from my bathroom ceiling. Absolutely terrific experience!

Clean and Shine did the remediation of the mold in my drywall following a leak. They were wonderful to work with, and went above and beyond to communicate with us and protect our belongings while they worked. Gary, in particular, followed up at every stage and went out of his way to make sure that all my questions were answered. I feel very fortunate we found them and cannot recommend them highly enough!

We recently uncovered a small leak on the house that had been going on for some time. After we got the leak fixed, we contacted several restauration companies, including Clean and Shine. Not only was Gary the quickest to respond, he was extremely diligent with his inspection to ensure he was able to provide an accurate and competitive quote. The entire process of getting the quote and scheduling the work was super easy thanks to Gary.so we were off to a great start to get our damage repaired and cleaned out.

Then Gary's team arrived and went to work. All I can say is "WOW". Rarely have I experienced a group of workers so thoughtful, hard working and respectful to their surrounding. They worked effectively and efficiently at the highest level of quality.the room looks like new and there is no trace of any leak or repair. I am extremely pleased with the result and super impressed with the quality of work. I will make sure to recommend Gary and his team to all my friends and colleagues and will always come back when needed. Thank you Gary!

After spending most of the year in our Florida home, we returned on a Monday only to find real trouble in the basement bathroom. The paint on the walls had shriveled, and the ceiling paint had collapsed in a solid sheet draping the light fixture. The plumbers arrived on Tuesday morning, discovered the cause of the leak and did the repairs, and then the search for a mold remediation company began.

The websites were all terrific promising professional results; the actual reviews of far too many companies indicated complaints with the BBB and other horrors. We got lucky with Clean and Shine. Gary told me he had a crew finishing up in Virginia so they could "swing by and fix the problem." On Wednesday, Edwin and Siralia (spelling?) arrived and worked their magic. Gone was the cabinetry, the dry wall and part of the ceiling - and gone was the mold.

A serious commercial fan and dehumidifier were put in place and worked for three days. Edwin arrived the next Monday to remove the equipment and to treat the studs with a product that will ensure further protection. Edwin has been doing this work for 29 years so we knew we were in good hands. Aside from the fact that these two men worked steadily and efficiently, they were kind, pleasant and respectful of my new flooring in the basement. I cannot be more appreciative of their efforts in the restoration process. What a terrific company!

Gary and the team at Clean and Shine are wonderful. I recently needed to have two large, old family rugs cleaned; I wanted to donate them somewhere but they needed cleaning first, and a neighbor recommended Clean and Shine. I was very pleased with the price, speed, and quality of the cleaning. I especially impressed by Gary, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive throughout the process. Clean and Shine is definitely on our list of best vendors to keep our home looking great! Clean and Shine did an outstanding job cleaning our wall-to-wall and area carpets. The team is efficient, friendly, and excellent at carpet, rug, and chair upholstery cleaning. Scheduling was easy and did not require a long wait. The crew arrived precisely on time. Edwin, who coordinated the pick-up of the area rugs and the wall-to-wall carpet cleaning, must have a photographic memory.

He put everything back in its exact location. The crew took area rugs to their shop for best results; rugs came back sparkling! Gary, the owner, assisted when the area rugs were returned. He is friendly and customer-focused. The crew took care to place each area rug carefully on its padding and not block air vents. Clean and Shine removed carpet stains that other vendors couldn't. Clean and Shine serves DC, Northern VA, and all Montgomery County.

I called Gary at Clean & Shine when last week's heavy rain storms resulted in water coming in under the back door of the basement of my rental property. Gary was extremely responsive, offered a great price, and was able to tackle the project head on. I was extremely stressed, convinced that the entire floor was going to have to come up to fix the problem - Gary's team came over to assess, calmed my fears, and got to work right away.

They were also very accommodating to the fact that I do not live on-site and had to communicate remotely, and they were very professional and friendly to my tenants. I feel very confident with the work done by Clean and Shine and would not hesitate to call them again (though hopefully I won't have to!).
