Chem-Dry of Richmond

I've been using them for over 10 years. Quick to schedule and convenient. Workers don't seem to stay long but are well trained. ( health insurance?) Carpet stays wet longer than advertised. No longer vacuums -says the machine now is more advanced. (CoVid was excuse last visit ) Doesn't "rake" which they say is machine more advanced and doesn't need any longer This time I had comforters in both bedrooms were wet possibly due to mist/spray First time for PURT treatment so will see how it works. Don't quite understand 10$ "processing fee" isn't that part of doing business? What is a processing fee mean?

The rug, sofa and chair look great. The service person did an excellent job.he worked quietly and efficiently. My only concern is how long it takes to dry the upholstery. Ive had a fan on it all afternoon and it's still damp. The rug looks fabulous. Services: Area rug cleaning, Upholstery cleaning

We have used ChemDry in the past and we're very pleased with their methods and the results. Tyler was very professional and courteous, called to let us know he was 12 minutes away. Chem Dry did a fantastic job getting my cream colored carpets looking cream again. They were starting to turn gray. They are revived and feel fairly new again. It was fast and affordable. I have tried other companies before, this was best. Service: General carpet cleaning

Wes called about an hour ahead to make sure I would be home. I was getting pet urine removed from my sofa (male neutered cat). Wes went over what would be done and was honest that the smell may not go away completely depending on how many times my cat marked the sofa and how long it's been. I only caught my cat once and have been keeping it covered to avoid future accidents.

It's been several months, but no matter what enzyme cleaner I used, the smell kept returning. My only regret is that I didn't call them sooner! It's been 2 weeks and the smell hasn't returned even when it's been very humid outside (the smell was at its worse on humid days). Wes was professional and he thoroughly cleaned the sofa. I plan to clean the sofa annually, pending no more accidents

We used Chem Dry 6 years ago when we first moved into our home. They did an excellent job then so we decided to use them again. We have since installed new carpet and want it to stay clean, especially in the high traffic areas. Mike came out right on time yesterday. He explained exactly what he would do and asked several times if we had questions or concerns. He got to work and did a great job! My carpet looks great! Thank you Chem Dry!

Well, my initial impression was heading down a bad path quickly but they overcame it with the quality of cleaning. I'll explain. I called the day prior and explained I needed a recliner cleaned as well as carpet in one room due to bad odors and stains from pets, etc. They gave me a price of $160 for what I needed done. When the man showed up (Ray), he told me I was getting the "basic" service and the cost would be $170.

I told him it should be $160 as they quoted me on the phone. Ray said that it was higher because they add a $10 "processing fee." That felt very "scammy" and immediately upset me. Additionally, if I wanted odors removed or sanitation, that would be an additional $20 each for the each recliner and carpet, totaling $210. NOPE! I explained clearly the day before what I wanted done and they gave me a price - this bait and switch was very uncool and I would have asked him to leave if I wasn't in need of the recliner immediately due to having a broken leg.

This was buying a new car and before they give it to you, they tell you there's an extra fee if you'd like a steering wheel included. Poor Ray was stuck in the middle but was patient and completely understood my anger. I called the business and spoke with someone about the matter and they spoke with a manager. The manager spoke to Ray and they agreed to the original $160 fee for everything. Ray was very understanding and facilitated getting this resolved. THAT SAID. Ray took his time being very thorough.

I've never had a carpet cleaning company get all of the stains out of this carpet before, so I was expecting to be disappointed. Yet, when I came in after he was done, I was completely amazed at how they came out. There literally was not one discernible stain ANYWHERE on my carpet! My carpet in that room is about 14-15 years old and it looks brand new again!

I'm very happy with the outcome and with the work ethic, personality and attention to detail Ray provided. As long as there is not another fee issue in the future, I will definitely use Chem-Dry again. And, if I do. I will ask for Ray to do the work.

Tyler was excellent. He called before arriving, arrived exactly when he said he would. Loved my dogs. My carpets, sofa and area rugs are fresh and clean. Chem Dry has been our preferred cleaner for years and there are several reasons for that. They do a great job, PURT treatments are lifesavers and they're very professional. The best part is that the carpets are raked/fluffed and dry quickly!

We have used Chem-dry several times and are always pleased. Chem-dry sent Matt out as our technician. He was timely, professional, and informative about the pet urine I was concerned about. Matt showed me with a blacklight where the pet urine was and explained how their product removed the urine, not just covered up the smell. He did a wonderful job.

I am so pleased with the cleaning of my sofa and area rugs. They are now spotless and smell so clean. Tyler could not have been more professional or pleasant to work with. Chem Dry is so lucky to have such an admirable young man. Thank you for sending him to do our job. I highly recommend Chem Dry for your cleaning needs. You will not be disappointed.

Chemdry had Ray came out to my home that is about to go on the market soon and he was so professional. I was super pleased with his punctuality, merely because when you get a window of 12-5p most of the time it takes much longer for people to show. He was quick to get to work on the two upstairs rooms and my steep stairs. Everything looked great when he was finished and he even took care of a more soiled spot that i didn't even notice. He was so kind and efficient. It was really a joy to finally have this checked off my to do list. Ray did a wonderful job! Highly recommend!

Excellent service. Very Professional. Carpets were pretty beat up and needed a good cleaning. Mike did a great job getting them clean. I couldn't see anymore foot traffic areas. He also did a end of bed bench when I asked that same day. I will definitely call Chem-Dry the next time my carpets need to be cleaned. Very reasonable cost.
