I gave East Bay a very critical review previously because I felt they had damaged one of my rugs. The Team came back out the other day because of another problem and was able to help us out. They also explained the issues I previously experienced were more related to the quality of the rug, not their process. After some reflection, I think they are right. I will use them to clean the better-quality rugs in my home.

I recently had 4 Oriental rugs cleaned, and they really needed it! They had been in high-traffic areas, including the kitchen, and some of the dirt was embedded in the fibers. East Bay Oriental Rug Cleaning did a superb job! The rugs came back in beautiful condition -- totally clean, colors bright, fibers with the integrity they are supposed to have.

This is the second time I have used EB Oriental Rug Cleaning. They are very professional. Both times I have been very happy with the end result. The first time they repaired one end of the rug where the stitching had started to unravel as well as cleaned it. Each time after the rug is cleaned it looks great- the colors really stand out.

I took a couple rugs that are in our hallways to them to clean. Over the years of the rugs became miss shaped. Not only did they do an excellent job of cleaning them but they returned them to their original straight form. Very pleased with their service and we will be back.

Heartbroken and beyond angry. They ruined a one of a kind extra large antique Persian Gabbeh rug worth thousands of dollars. Irreplaceable. Several large portions of the rug are hard and look and feels like what appears to be dried soap, loose threads damaged areas throughout, discoloration and about a dozen locations where uncolored white knots are visible (no such imperfections existed when I bought the rug 2 years ago).

Who knows if someone else who knows how to handle Persian Gabbehs properly will be able to fix the rug, I suspect not given how many types of damage were done to this rug, but I am certainly not giving this business a second chance with my antique Persian rugs. GO ELSEWHERE WITH YOUR PERSIAN RUGS.

The East Bay Oriental Rug Co is excellent. I brought my rug in to be cleaned and have the fringe and one corner repaired. Let me say I have *never* had my rug cleaned so well. When Eric and I laid the rug out, it was an "oh wow" moment seeing the colors come alive again after a couple of years of heavy use. Hossain did a remarkable job of repairing the corner of the rug and the new fringe is beautiful. Eric provided excellent service.

He explained what was possible regarding the repairs. He advised me what to have done and what to do at a later date or not all. He's an honest person who knows the value of happy clients and obviously gets a lot of repeat business.

They all came out beautifully and Eric was great with communication and shared so much information about my rugs. Would absolutely recommend and use them again!

This is an excellent company and their work is superb. They washed, repaired and restored two of our oriental rugs and cut us two new carpet pads. One carpet is a room-sized, quite large, modern Turkish carpet which had pet stains. It now looks like new, thick and soft, with no trace of dog misbehavior. The other is a small prayer rug which was raveling away at one end.

They replaced the stitching at both ends and washed the rug. It has never looked so beautiful. We are very pleased with the impeccable service. They were punctual, gave a reasonable estimate, and did the work to perfection. They came into our home wearing masks, removed their shoes at the door, and handled the rugs with care and speed. Having this work done not only preserved valuable rugs but gave our home a real lift. Totally worth the cost. Very grateful!
