This company (JC Carpet Cleaning in Tigard, OR) provided a quote for $1490.00 to clean the carpets in my unit (see Google photos) - https://photos.app.goo.gl/XL61mMRbxL1Xzsqf7 to Omni Management, Inc for a 3 bedroom apartment, and ultimately suggested replacing rather than cleaning the carpets. Although the photos can't show 'smells' that were noted, the quote seems to be over-the-top excessive (even if the carpets were completely destroyed, which they were not - please see the photographs).

This company also significantly prides themselves on removing pet stains and reviving carpets to 'live another day'. For $1500, are they shampooing the carpet with champagne? It's strange, but now that I am looking online and Omni Management, Inc has professed that they do not have a fiduciary interest in the carpet cleaning company, I am finding several (more than half a dozen 5 star listings) for this company under google and yelp for seemingly the same entity (this is why you are likely seeing my post in several places).

Including the 3 bedrooms, the living and dining room, and carpeted stairs, this comes out to $248 per room/area. Does this seem like a reasonable carpet cleaning quote? This is what I was charged against my rental deposit after cleaning the carpets myself, even though the carpet was ultimately replaced and not re-cleaned. I am curious to know if JCCC, Omni, or an affiliate 'replaced' the carpet, but I can't seem to get any information from JCCC or Omni on this. They both seem to be confused about how to provide an actual receipt for services rendered.

I've had my carpets cleaned twice by JC, and each time I was treated professionally and courteously over the phone when scheduling my service. They treated my Home, and previous apartment with care and made sure to not scrape corners ( like some other carpet cleaning companies seem to forget how to not do ) I appreciated their attention to detail, and making sure the setup was not disrupting or damaging my home. The clean turned out GREAT. Each & Every time. I would highly recommend this company to any friend, and certainly any Property Manager looking for a good carpet cleaner.

I've a property management company and I solely use JC Carpets for our homes. I would recommend them to anyone. I've had absolutely trashed carpet that they were able to revive to live for another day. They are always great to work with on the phone as well. We've used them for about five years now and only one time had to have someone come back and that was done immediately and cheerfully. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

So after my property manager, on our moveout walkthrough, tells me that the carpets look great, imagine my surprise to receive a carpet cleaning bill from JC Carpet Cleaning for $800! Oh, the base charge, $250, is very reasonable, and very much in line with what I was quoted by other carpet cleaning people. Except then they nickel and dimed me - if more than two times the base cost can really be called "nickel and diming" - another $550, on carpet that I was asked for my cleaning receipt for upon our moveout walkthrough (there wasn't one because I did it myself and take pride in maintaining places I rent) and was assured would not result in an over-the-top cost for cleaning.

Well friends, $800, $550 of which is over the base cost, is certainly over-the-top. While I have no doubt that this is at the behest of the property management company, the fact remains that there is no way I would ever hire these people to clean my carpets, lest I have to take out a small bank loan in order to cover the costs.

Rocky, Jan and crew are amazing! Not only they give you great service, they are honest about quotes. As property manager for almost 15 years they are number 1 in my book to call. Wish I could give more than 5 stars

My wife and I have had the JC clean our carpets on two different occasions, and each time the quality of work and the quality of people was outstanding! Steven was our technician on both occasions, second time was by request. He was polite, knowledgeable and made great suggestions about what options we had available to eliminate some pet odors. Today will not be the last time that JC does work for us and anybody considering them for work should stop looking elsewhere and give JC a call. In addition to their excellent work, they had the best price around!

We used JC at my last place of work. They were always available, always honest, always on time and able to accommodate our needs. I contacted them again for personal use, and they went above and beyond and did a fabulous job. My old maintenance manager always dealt with Rocky. I called to make an appointment and dealt with Rocky as well. He was super nice, professional, and called me for payment once the job was completed.

They are totally reasonable, as well. I remember us sending them out for a standard carpet clean at properties and they would make horrible carpet look brand new, but when they knew cleaning it was a waste of money they told us the truth and recommended replacement. It saved us a lot of money. They picked up the slack when another carpet cleaning company failed on me the day before I had to turn in keys. I appreciate it!

I made an appointment and they were to arrive between 9-10 am, nice, helpful person answered the phone and made appointment. No arrival at 10, so I called. The person helping on the phone seemed to have trouble finding my appointment and asked if I was in an apartment and my name twice. I asked if they had a calendar or appointment book and she was slightly snarky saying she is looking right now.

Then she told me they would be there by 1pm. Wow, 3 hours late. I said you are kidding me, this deserves a review to warn potential customers as being bad business. She told me she was trying to help me and said it's not her fault, she didn't make the appointment. Not good business when there are so many choices. Do not recommend at all. Can't even make it on time, and thinks 3 hours late is acceptable?

I actually got two carpets cleaned in April of this year, and finally got around to writing this review. I am VERY impressed with the quality and care the Jc Carpet Cleaning person (Steven) performed, and would not hesitate to call them again.
