This was my first time using this business and it will be my last. The were professional and reliable but not worth the extreme pricing. I had my linen headboard clean, the hallway, and stairs and spent $415. Within a week it's was basically back to it's original appearance. And, we take out shoes off. see photos

I'm so pleased to have found Pacific Carpet Care. They were recommended by my carpet installer and they did a Great job making my carpet look brand new! Israel and Jalan showed up on time, were careful not to damage my wall corners with their hose and were very friendly and professional. I've had my carpets cleaned in the past but never with such a good result and I will definitely use them going forward!

My experience with the carpet technician was fantastic. The carpets looked great after he was done. But after everything dried I noticed many of the stains came back. But that wasn't the problem. It was how the woman whom I spoke to on the phone afterwards treated me. She was appallingly rude and literally hung up on me. I'm still in shock at how terrible her customer service (and listening) skills were.
Full story below. When stains come back after a cleaning it's called "wicking." I used to be a carpet cleaning tech myself years ago. And when stains would come back we would head back out and just do a simple, quick spot treatment of the stains. It's called good customer service. The cleaning was done on a vacant guest house (converted garage) my wife and I bought and were not living in yet.
Since the purchase, we were dealing with other home emergencies like the master shower (in the main house) not draining, or the toilet that was leaking everywhere, or the cracked foundation, replacing the clogged septic tank, etc etc. There was sooo much to take care of during the first 2 months after moving in. So amidst dealing with the home-repair-chaos mentioned above - I did notice many stains come back just days after the cleaning -- but due to the higher priority life items listed above, I wasn't able to call Pacific Carpet Care about the "wicking" stains until almost 2 months after service.
I call in and politely tell her the situation that a lot of stains re-appeared after drying. Well before I could even ASK what I was looking for (which was simply for someone to come to a quick spot treatment to remove the leftover stains. Not a refund. Not a full, new cleaning for free. Just spot treatment) She went into full blown attack mode - and flat out treated me like I was one of those nightmare-ish, unreasonable customers who demands refunds over the smallest of things. Ummm.
I'm not that guy. Hell, I even tipped the tech when was done! Yet, I was treated like the slimiest, over-demanding customer she's ever talked to. The moment she discovered it had been almost 2 months since the cleaning, she refused to listen to anything I had to say. Constantly interrupting me, painting me as a cheap customer, assuming SO much without even listening.
Now I'm not stupid. I fully realized that calling almost 2 months after service doesn't entirely work in my favor. But I know for a fact that these stains are the same stains from before the cleaning. So I called prepared and *tried* to explain my situation with constant interruptions and rude disbelief on her part. I offered before and after photos with timestamps of the same stain patterns (which she refused to look at).
I also told her that I used to work in the carpet cleaning business and that "wicking" isn't abnormal. It happens. Her response was something like "I've been doing this for X amount of years and stains just don't come back like that! They must be from the movers shoes, or yourself. It's been 2 months!" No matter what reasonable/logical point I would make regarding the stains coming back (or why I wasn't able to call in until 2 months after service), she just wasn't going to have it and ***hung up on me.*** I've worked in service-based industries for most of my life and I can't even imagine treating an honest, well-meaning customer this way.
I was really shook after this call as I rarely ever encounter drama or being treated so poorly. Again, she never even asked what it was that I was looking for. She only argued, didn't listen, interrupted, and hung up on me. They may do their best work when the come and do the job. But beware if you ever have to call back as you'll probably be treated like complete dirt.
I would never recommend this company based on how their main point of contact treated me. My real estate broker, who used to send business their way, said that based on how I was treated (which is the opposite of how he treats his customers) -- he's no longer going to send any clients to Pacific Carpet Care.

I just had 2 rooms cleaned by PCC which I selected based on online recommendations. Other than their coming on time, it was an experience I would like to have avoided. 1. The assistant, D, was contentious and confrontational whenever I asked a question; 2. Cleaning was not done under very easily movable furniture. Many things were left in place at the time when the job was 'complete'.
When I pointed it out and they began to do the work, I asked if they were washing as well as vacuuming and J., the head, said yes. I looked outside and saw that the hose had already been disconnected. I pointed it out to him. "Guess so". By that time, I was just wanted these people out of my home; 3. The plastic bits that they put under chairs were a. not fully under the chair legs, in many cases, so full protection was not provided and b. on many pieces had not been put in place at all so the furniture was on the wet carpet.
I think the two men who did the work are probably decent human beings but in terms of wanting to be helpful to a customer, from the very beginning they were argumentative and confrontational. They made me feel very uncomfortable. So for those two reasons, 1. failure to do a good and complete and honest job of cleaning and 2. really bad customer interaction I will not be using Pacific Carpet Care again.

WARNING: Do not use this company. They are absolutely unprofessional and are extremely lacking in the customer service skills. They do not follow your requests and then back pedal when they screw up! Yes, I WAS a real customer! NEVER AGAIN! You will be loosing a lot of business. Everyone else - Don't waste your time!

Pacific Carpet Care is definitely one of those rare finds of a company where customer service is excellent from the first communication through the final product (amazingly clean carpets)! I have avoided getting my carpets cleaned for years because I have not had good experiences with workmanship, as others have damaged our stairs or left soiled watermarks behind. But, that has all changed now! Juan, who has been working with Pacific Carpet Care for fifteen years, restored our carpets to their original glory!
What a hard-working professional! We are so appreciative! Pacific Carpet Care was originally referred to us by a friend who has very high standards. And, now, I have the pleasure to refer them, too!

This company came highly recommended by a carpeting and wood floor installer. They were professional; did an excellent job; and their office staff was great in terms of setting up appointment and following through with the ETA of the truck. I thoroughly recommend them without hesitation. They are not inexpensive like some advertised places but they do a top notch job. You get what you pay for. Harriet Sasson

I was referred by a friend in the Floor covering industry to try the service of Pacific carpet to handle the carpet cleaning needs of a 10 unit apartment complex we manage. So far, the feedback from the tenants have been great. One tenant was very satisfied with them arriving to do the job when they said they would. This was a big plus because our previous cleaner did not always come to take care of the carpet issues at their specified time, and I can tell you that their promptness was a key in my opinion. Very professional and reasonable prices I forgot to mention.

Pacific Carpet Care have cleaned my wall to wall carpet at my house. Their technician showed up at my door on time, was very friendly and courteous. Not to mention that he was very professional and provided me with an exe excellent service. I asked him to clean my sofa as well, and he had no problem to stay an extra time and clean it for me. I will use Pacific Carpet care for all my flooring and upholstery needs, and will highly recommend this company to everyone.

Each person I spoke with at Pacific Carpet Care was helpful and oriented towards customer service. Sigy was kind and pleasant. Sebastian, the technician, did a great job cleaning my wool carpeting. He was very careful around furniture and base boards and gingerly maneuvered around my hardwood floors. Yorum went beyond my expectations to help with a small area rug, picking it up and taking care of it personally as well as making suggestions about dealing with moth damage. Knowledgable, competent and professional. As good as it gets.

This company is amazing! First off, the technicians arrived on time. They were super professional and courteous to my area rug and my home. The rug in my living room came back super clean and looked brand new. I was afraid that it wouldn't come back the same because of its light colors but they proved me wrong and it came back better than the day I bought it.
I also used them on a property that I am currently renting out. The previous tenants had destroyed my carpet and I was afraid of spending thousands of dollars to replace it. Pacific Carpet Care reassured me that they could fix it and have it look like new. They definitely kept their promise, my carpets exceeded all of expectations. I definitely recommend them! I had already recommended them to my mother who has a few rental properties as her own and she has already fallen in love with their work.

I was referred to Pacific Carpet Care by a friend of mine, and the cleaning experience with them have exceeded ALL my expectations. The 2 technicians that were sent to my house were very gentle and friendly. They inspected the job and gave me some professional suggestions. My leather furniture could not look any better. So now I decided to spend a little more and clean my oriental rugs.
I sent in my two beautiful expensive large oriental rugs to be cleaned at their warehouse. I was a little worried about the possibility of color damage or shrinkage. They assured me that I have nothing to worry about. My rugs came back after 2 weeks spotless! I was shocked with the results. I could not believe that my old dirty rugs could return being so clean and vivid. They came back like new. I already referred them to my son, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Often, I check with Yelp postings to find and select a service, or even try a restaurant. My family needed carpets in two rooms and a walkway done and right away. We purchased the flooring from Carpet Tyme in Thousand Oaks, so I asked Alex for a referral (a very good place for flooring). Given that it was a Saturday, I did not have high hopes for any last minute service. Having read through the Yelp reviews, I was candid with Sigi that the reviews did not match the positive comments from Carpet Tyme.
I went with my gut and was so glad that I did. Within 2 hours, Roy showed up and skillfully cleaned the carpets and four chair seats better than my wife and I expected. Roy's attention to detail and thorough prep and cleaning were exceptional. My wife and I will be a bit more careful trusting some of the bashing Yelp posts moving forward and will use Pacific Carpet Care in the future.

I would recommend Pacific Carpet Care; however, the reason I gave them 3 stars is because they did not leave any booties. The carpets were still drying and if you walk on them, especially when wet, you'll just get dirt all over them again. When I got home from work, I was simply exhausted and wanted to lay down on my bed, but I couldn't go upstairs b/c I was afraid to walk on the wet carpet and get it dirty again.
They did go out of their way on a rainy Friday night to delivery booties to my house, which I really appreciate, but they should always leave 5 pairs of booties at every house, every time. It meant a lot to me that PCC went out of their way to right their wrong. Also, the carpet will look streaked until you vacuum it after it's dry. Another reason I'm giving them 3 stars.
They should have given us a heads up. Tips: 1) Make sure to request that PCC leaves you booties so you don't restain your carpet while it's wet. Should only need them for about 48 hours after it's clean while it's damp. 2) Carpet might look streaked, but don't panic. After it dries and you vacuum for the first time, the streaks come out.

The carpet cleaning was FANTASTIC, but beware: It cost $175 for three rooms. This was my bad as I had miscalculated the final price when they said it was "35 cents a square foot". Last time we had the carpets cleaned in this apartment it was $65, not quite as good a job but saving over $100 is worth it. Again, great cleaning, not-so-great prices. Would have 5-starred them if they had charged half the price.
