Didn't do a great job with window washing. Missed many and others were streaky. Will use someone else next time.

Critical: Professionalism Very unprofessional company to work for and they lie about having certifications. All employees do not have the certification required and they have a very poor pay rate for a person in training considering they will make you work on buildings over 30 stories or better

This company cleaned the windows of my apartment building today. My apartment being on the top floor, I heard everything they did atop the roof above my apartment- from dropping heavy equipment, to all the expletives and cuss words that followed. They also kept ramming against the windows extremely loudly which was disruptive to the work call I was on. I can't fathom why cleaning windows would require almost hammering into them. 1 star for the horrendous work ethic.

We had been looking for window washing that was affordable, effective and consistent, we finally found it! When we called Shine On Group to schedule everything was made easy. I even spoke to Daniela who is the Director of the company, she was super polite and made sure that every aspect was taken care of. Since the building we needed services for is a high rise in downtown, one of our concerns, was safety and the privacy of our tenants and Daniela explained to us that all aspects of safety compliance for the washers as well as the privacy for our tenants will be secured. she worked around our schedule to make sure everything was perfect and affordable within our price range.

The guys have been over twice and their job is SPOTLESS, they are super polite and Daniela came with them the second time to introduce herself and make sure that they were being compliant and safe. If you're looking for window washers, these are your guys!

Used shine on in the past with zero issues. Tried to get appt in the fall. No reply. Same for this spring. They do not return phone calls. They must not need residential business. I will go elsewhere.

Impossible to schedule and contact. Answering service is incompetent. Scheduled appointment with no show. Many other businesses are more organized.

TRY GETTING AN APPOINTMENT WITH THEM! My first call was in August, it's now November and they can't find one date for us? We WERE long time customers with a house in Logan Square. Not any more!

Shine On went through my neighbor this year prior to entering my yard. When I told said they weren't allowed in my yard, they complied. Happy to see.

This company cleaned the windows of the building next door to my home. They placed a ladder on top of my plants in my front yard garden, and they walked all over the plants -- flattening/crushing them. When I confronted them about it, one of the crew members was very rude. All I wanted was an apology. Instead, I got 'Do what you need to do'. I called the office and talked to the office manager, Daniella.

She was very polite, but didn't apologize. About 10 minutes later, one of the crew members (Juan) came over and apologized. There's nothing the company can do to fix the damage that's been done to my garden. The plants are destroyed for this season, and I will just have to wait until next year to enjoy any of those flowers. A simple apology from all involved would have been enough to keep me from writing this negative review.

Recommendation to this company: knock on the doors of the neighbors and coordinate with them if you plan to walk on their property. I could have worked this out with them so that they could get to the windows they needed to without destroying my plants. And if you mess up, swallow your pride, admit that you made a mistake, and apologize.

Update: I finally got a call from an extremely helpful man named Andy, who has resolved the entire issue. Someone is coming out to take a thorough look at the building, and we've been given a credit for future work. The customer service in the past few weeks has been excellent.

This company was contracted to clean the windows my 46 floor building. This "2 week project" has lasted over 50 days. When condo owners reported to management that some of the units had not been cleaned, Shine On Window Cleaning required that a supervisor come out to inspect each units complaint. as if we were to lie about this! I have been required to move everything off my balcony and tape sheets of paper on my floor to ceiling windows as to signal to the cleaners which unit requires cleaning. I am beyond frustrated and would not recommend this company to anyone.

I've been with this company for quiet sometime already. The people here have one goal: To give clients a guaranteed satisfaction with their window cleaning service. The crew are well-trained and very professional. I always recommend this company to people I know. I wouldn't bother to do so if it's not worth it.

The crew did a nice job on our 3 flat buiding! The men were very professional, showed up on time, and really cleaned the windows. I would suggest doing the screens yourself though; we paid to have ours cleaned along with the windows, but they just brushed them down with a rag, which did not get off much dirt. We ended up having to do them again ourselves afterward.

I had Shine On out to wash my windows on May 16. They were on time, did a nice job for a fair price, and were efficient. One of my walls did get scratched from the tools on one of the worker's belts so that was disappointing, because now I'll have to repaint that wall to hide the gash. They didn't offer a discount for this damage, although I'd rather pay full price and not have damage. Mistakes happen, I guess what can you do.

They tracked in some dirt because they didn't remove their shoes but they did clean it up. Overall, I was pleased with the service. (Just bummed out about the small gash in the wall.)

I have a 4-flat in Chicago that had filthy windows after the winter. These guys did a great job cleaning them. They also showed up on time and were very friendly and professional.
