5 Star Carpet Cleaning

We are in the process of selling our house and our cat damaged our carpet, we were trying to find someone who would patch it up and we looked everywhere, everyone either was busy or didn't do carpet repairs. I got in contact with Jim, and he was so helpful. He came up with a solution and we booked a day for the carpet repair and cleaners to come out, they did a fantastic job.

A week later, our dog decided he wanted to chew a hole in our nice clean carpet the day we listed our house I called Jim in a frantic state hoping he would be able to help and even with him being out of town, he helped us. He was able to coordinate having someone come out the next day to do the carpet repair. This has just been the best service and I'm so very thankful for Jim and his help!

Not going lie my carpet look like completely messed up. Guys came on time worked there butts off and my carpet looking store bought. I definitely will be using this service in the future.

Service was excellent! Extremely professional, friendly and punctual. We have 4 young children and 3 dogs. We took advantage of their Silver Package, they did such a great job with the carpet and it smells good! First of all my brother in law is realtor, he referred me to 5 Star Carpet Cleaning. To my knowledge he has been using 5 Star services for the past 8 years. Needless to say, I am very happy with their services. David & his team did excellent job cleaning the carpets for my old home and the new house I'm moving into. They arrived on time, professional, friendly and took all the safety steps to do their job.

I have very high expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised how well the carpets turn out, I'm grateful that I won't need to spend a fortune to replace the carpet. See you guys next time! I will def recommend these guys!

Called for carpet cleaning at our apartment. 5 mins prior to arriving on the first day, David calls with the excuse of truck breakdown. Gave him another chance 2 days later. Again did not show up. I did not find him at the job site. He seem to have lied that he was at the apartment. Tried calling David numerous times and left text and voice messages whole afternoon with no response. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend this company and David.

It was simple to find an appointment that fit my timetable without requiring a big lead time. The technicians, was extremely professional and pleasant. The purpose of this feedback is to give an honest and factual feedback so that others do not go through what I am going through. Where can I start. 1. The entire passenger side door of his VAN was missing and fastened by a rope. 2. On Craigslist it was advertised $178 any size house. Once he arrives demanded $550.00. I declined his demand and negotiated for $220.00.

Since I was desperate, and my furniture were out the house already, I agreed to pay $220 and he demanded to be paid in the form of cash only. 3. HE then asks myself and my Daughter to vacuum so that he can be done early. Myself and my teen daughter used two vacuum cleaner and clean the entire 3-bedroom house. 4. HE used machine that did not suck up the water.

It looks like he was using Floor Polishers. He reported" machine is patented that works with cold water only." Today is Saturday and after 24 hrs. the entire floor is still wet. 5. He was working necked above waist.

Desperate to find someone for my last minute, time-sensitive carpet cleaning job, I turned to CL and messaged a half dozen ads. David was the first to respond and say that he was available in my time frame. Scheduling was quick and easy. Day of the service, David and his son show up right on time, cheerful and friendly despite this heat wave. I was worried that the square footage was too big, but they did not bat a lash at the number of rooms, and they honored the special listed on their website without question. In approximately an hour, all carpeting was clean. They did a fantastic job and the pricing was very competitive.

First of all, I was neither asked nor paid to write this review, and this is not fake. I'm honestly surprised by the other negative reviews here, as my experience was exceptional. I contacted Dave and he was able to fit me in within 2 days. He and his son arrived on time and were very professional throughout the process. As for the results, the carpets both look and smell great; better than when I moved in. Thank you to you both!

Professional in every way. For our large house, this is a fantastic deal. I like how quickly the carpet dries. After he's completed, the carpets are just stunning. He has a friendly demeanor. His service comes highly recommended. We've tried a few throughout the years and have found that we prefer him to everyone else. There are no issues at all.

We originally had a appointment for Friday morning; he cancelled and rescheduled for early Monday morning. As you can see in the text he never responded or showed up on Monday; stop wasting peoples time

Never Showed up. Scheduled an appointment, even confirmed day and time by text message. Prepared the property, removed furniture and as a result, they never showed up, nobody picked the phone or answered my voice mails and texts anymore. Do not use them. More than that, on Craigslist they mentioned that their BBB rating is A+, they are not listed on BBB at all.

They came to the house on Sunday, (Olympia) He was only 30 minutes late, he was sketchy from the minute he walked in. I was planning on using the promo special (coupon) for $189.00- posted on their website. I e-mailed Dave, and we worked out the time and date. When the worker showed up in a plain white van, he did a walk thought the house, and gave me a quote 4 times the amount of the original price.

He told me this was an 800 dollar job, and it couldn't be done for less, then he lowered the price to 600 and I said I planned on the coupon special. He then came back with $400.00 option. I said I only have the $200, and that is what I agreed to paying. He proceeded to clean the carpet, but would leave for a while, then come back. Then clean for a while and return. it was a very strange experience.

I wrote a check, and he wanted cash, then I had to make the check out to a specific name, this felt strange. The next morning, the carpets looked worse than before. I called Dave, and was in the process of explaining the situation, he hung up on me. I would run fast and far away from this company. I will be paying twice for the experience, because I now have to pay someone else to come and fix.

I would have been willing to work out something with Dave, except he hung up on me. 1) 30 minutes late 2) gave a quote that was 4x the agreed upon price 3) kept adjusting the quote 4) disappeared throughout the day 4) insisted on cash 5) carpets look worse than before 6) hung up on me 7) had the check made out to someone elses name. SKETCHY- SHETCHY- SKETCHY Add on to the Notes: The man who cleaned the carpet was mad at the money (not enough) and wanted me to throw in tools or a chainsaw to make up the differences. His words were- What do you have to trade with, I want a chainsaw or some tools.

I would give them negative rating if yelp allowed for it. We were moving into a new home and had an appointment set 1 day before movers were coming in. Dave conveniently forgot our appointment and I had to call him a day before and the day of proposed appointment. He made up some fictional reason that wasn't very convincing, remained unapologetic and I had to call someone else at the last moment to do the job. Extremely poor customer service.

Absolutely HORRIBLE! They shouldn't even be allowed a 1 star. I have used them in the past with no issues for carpet and upholstery cleaning. I don't know what happened within the month from getting my upholstery cleaned to the carpets cleaned but it was very bad. They cancelled due to an emergency on my appointment date. Then when I reschedule for the following morning at 8am they didn't show.

Apparently after calling and calling they decided to change their schedule. Then when they show up they are in a car pulling random equipment from their trunk! Ummmm. What? They people were also fighting and cussing in front of small children. They never finished the job either. It was an absolute horrible experience and I hope they never do business again. They are TERRIBLE!

This company is pathetic. DO NOT USE THEM. I had an appointment with them this morning and they never showed or called. My boss had an appointment with them this morning at another location and they arrived 1 1/2 hours late. They used bleach on the carpet before shampooing and then used a machine that did not suck up the water. The carpet was left soaking wet. The $99.00 special on Craigslist is not worth it. Find a credible company and pay the extra money or do it yourself.

Never showed up I called them they promised to show the next day and guess what. Never showed up, I called they didn't answer. I was in contact with David S. Thru phone and email. And still he didn't show up.

Company was a referral by a real estate company. I have tried this company on 4 different occasions - shame on me! 1) called morning of service - truck broke down 2) showed up 2 hours late 3) called me 30 minutes prior to appointment and postpone service until the next morning. 4) no show - return text three hours later, stating truck broke down.offered to come late in the evening. I'm done - never again!

I found another Carpet Cleaning Company, cost approximately $150 more than 5 Star, but it was very well worth the extra $$$. I didn't realize how crappy the service was by 5 star until someone else cleaned my carpet.

If I could zero stars this I would. Showed up 3 hours late, and didn't even vacuum before they "cleaned the carpet" Since they didn't vacuum all they did was push the dirt around. When they arrived, I told the guy that I wanted my upstairs and sectional cleaned, and he told me he didn't have time. He was there for about 20 mins. I wish I had looked at yelp beforehand, but I was in a rush to get this done to get my house listed. Now I need to get someone else in.

Like others, I wish I would have looked at Yelp before hiring (on the recommendation of my real estate agent) this company. Below is a copy of the email I sent them: "The cleaners who came, a woman and what appeared to be a teenage girl, were there all afternoon and into the night. I came to the house at 4 pm to see how the cleaning went (we were scheduled to have them start at 9 am but they didn't come until 2 pm), and interrupted them, so I left.

I came back at 8 pm and they were still there, and our clothes dryer was running. My neighbor called me at 10 pm saying he thought people were burglarizing the home and I had to explain that there were cleaners there. So, as far as I know, they were there at least 6 hours. I attached a few pictures to show how the home still looks. There is still a heavy coat of dust and dirt in all rooms, piles of debris on the floor that I've had to sweep, cobwebs on the walls, and smudges and smears on a lot of the glass.

In addition, there was frozen food left to melt in our (unplugged) refrigerator. In all honesty, it does not appear to me that any cleaning was actually done. People who toured the home this week also pointed out that it didn't appear clean. This is really hurting our ability to sell the home, as buyers expect a property to be presentable."

What a ridiculous joke this guy is! I am genuinely ticked off at this guy- a week ago, we set an appointment for him for today at 1p. Today I called him at 9:27am and he confirmed our 1am apt. Now it's 2:24p. Here is a basic overview: 1pm, no show. Hmmm. Calls sent to vm after second ring. He is doing this. Left vms, texts, "Hey we had an appt. that you confirned today- weve got people waiting on you- whats up?" No response.

Until just now, an hour later, I get a guy as I am trying to track down what 5 star this was. Hey he sounds familiar.it IS the guy.says he called to let us know he had a "water damage emergency". Ok, the number I gave you was my direct number to my cell phone- can you get what number you called, where "you told somebody".you can? You have that number? Great. Youll get that number for me? Awesome. Sure- Ill hold.and hold.and hold.until click- the call died. FYI

I wish I could give those people negative numbers! They are the worst ever people to let them into your house. I called them for move in cleaning and they left the home worse than it was. First of all they arrived with a bucket and a mop( thats it). The didn't touch the kitchen.sticky counter tops, dirty refrigerator as if it has not been touched. slippery floors.

And they kicked us out of the house claiming that they use alot of enzymes that might harm us.ending up that they kicked us out to make sure nobody is following and to just do some parts of each room, and soaking the stairs so that we don't go to the upstairs until they leave. Conclusion.do yourself a favor and never call this company even for some dishes washing.

Made an appointment over the phone for Sun. No show. Had tenants stick around waiting. made me look like an ass. Plenty of other cleaners around. Will go with one that has better reviews.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service from Dave Sherrey, owner and his partner. A few weeks ago we had our carpets cleaned so they would be fresh for our open house with our realtor, and Dave had to come out twice because his equipment wasn't working. Then after he finished the job, it stunk up the whole house like mold and rotten garbage!

We were forced to cancel our open house with the realtor because it was so awful! Then we tried to contact them numerous times for help and never heard back. At one point his partner answered and said he'd call us back in 5 minutes, but then he NEVER CALLED! We decided to go with another carpet cleaning company that had to use lemon balm scent to take care of the damage of 5 Star Carpet Cleaning.

I am so frustrated with them. Dave seemed like a nice guy, but to do a crappy job and then not call back is just terrible customer service. It's worth it to pay extra for a more reputable company!.

They were supposed to come today at 9:00 AM. They didn't turn up or call me to inform me that they are bailing out. Total lack of professionalism on their part. I would never go to them again, ever. A business that has no value to respect the time of their customers doesn't deserve my support.
