I am updating my previous review. At the time I was extremely upset and frustrated that after purchasing a new home we were still dealing with mold issues impacting our family's health a year later (after having the home tested). I simply was not in a good place and my previous review was fueled by anger at our situation and was an unfair review of MIDA.

Because MIDA is so good at what they do and so thorough they are extremely in demand and very busy. This is no fault of Mike Drake, Tony or anyone else. We are still in the unfortunate situation of dealing with mold and I just reached out to Mike. I'm ashamed to read my previous review as he was very kind on the phone and willing to help. To those who have been through troubles with mold, MIDA is the company to reach out to.

They may be busy but they know what they are doing; Tony and Mike are top notch and will most definitely help get to the bottom of the issue. I am looking forward to the light at the end of the tunnel and I am confident they can help us.

I used to work here, so my review is from an employee's perspective. Tony, my supervisor was a great person to work for. I didn't have much experience coming to this job, but he still gave me a chance. I learned how to do the job, but it became tiring for me and I realized my body wasn't made for this kind of work. The pay was more than enough for me, but money wasn't my goal.

Unfortunately, I was unable to utilize this company's remediation services -- through no fault of their own. Negotiations with a third party broke down regarding the subject property and the decision was no longer up to me. However, I was extremely impressed with the way they -- in particular, a gentleman named Mike Drake -- dealt with me promptly and courteously and professionally right from the start.

I initially called late on a weekday afternoon and Mike, despite my protestations, immediately drove through rush hour traffic (Long Beach to Burbank) to meet me at the residence that very evening. By the next day I had a complete written estimate and, when I requested an additional estimate, for informational purposes only, that too was promptly delivered. I am sorry I was unable to proceed with this company. But my preliminary dealings with them left me with a very favorable impression!

Our experience with MIDA Industries was absolutely perfect. Tony and his crew were professional, on-time every day and most importantly did an outstanding job on our mold remediation in our kitchen. Julio was at our for 10 days and he was respectful, had a great attitude and had the experience to complete the job perfectly. We are very pleased. Thank you everyone for giving us our kitchen back and leaving it spotless! I'm so happy not to have to eat out anymore.

Tony the project manager has poor communication and came off to me as angry and abrasive. I think it is a language barrier but when someone is ripping apart the walls in your house it's nice to trust them. Instead of just telling me that my roof had a hole in it and the rain water is what caused the mold he told me "There is a pipe that runs through the wall and to the roof, u can see daylight though it." To me that is not clear and I thought maybe a pipe was leaking.

Also morning of the job he calls me and tells me he's going to rip open the walls in my bedroom when the only thing we ever discussed was the bathroom so this was a huge shock. I needed to talk to the mold inspector before approving it since that was the first I had heard of it so the whole project took an extra day. I wish he would have told me that he was going to do the bedroom as well before the day they started.

However in the end it seems they did a good job as the walls are back up and everything was clean. But it was such a struggle pulling teeth every time I had to communicate with him. There is NO the customer is right with this company. He argued with me till I just took the high road because he had the walls ripped open in my house and I wanted him to do a good job. I think when you are paying someone that much money to do a job they should not be rude and condescending.

We have used Mida for a few of our homes and been please every time! They did mold removal in our condo and had it back to normal in a timely manner. Most recently Mida moved some asbestos ridden materials from our home. All projects have been done in the most professional manner and I would highly recommend them. Yes you pay for quality of work, but when it's where you sleep, it's worth every penny!

I hired this company to come and do mold remediation as well as restoration under my kitchen sink. They had to remove the entire lower cabinets without having to remove the countertop. I am very happy with the work they performed and the out come. I was afraid the countertop may break creating unnecessary not to mention extra costs. It's nice to know there is a company that have the professionalism and capacity to rely on during this tough time.

It's taken me a while but wanted to update those that are interested in hiring this company. After receiving a check that was no good, I informed the company that I will only accept cash. Tony, Project Manager, met up with me and gave me cash. At that time they wanted me to sign a 3 page document that was not in my name. I declined and at that time Tony grabbed my arm and restrained me.

Then grabbed my dog's leash and held me there for a couple minutes until letting go. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Let my pictures show you their work. Right now they're being investigated for assualt.

Beware! They are not professionals and definitely not trained. Our bldg used them twice and both times has been a disaster. Their workers damage furniture, flooring, they don't know how to paint properly. Tony, the project manager, promise to replace the floor and then never to be heard of again. Dawit, CFO, sent an email claiming as a "curtesy but not accepting fault" they would send someone and again NOTHING.

They just abondened the job-site. FYI: My estimate was $3,055 to replace approx 4'x3' ceiling. N no they haven't been paid yet, been waiting for them to return and finish the job as promised back on 7/01. Please see the photos and make your own decision.

Wow.be careful with these guys. I hired this outfit for mold remediation in a small bathroom for the area behind the toilet. These guys removed 1/2 a piece of sheetrock and a single piece of baseboard and charged $2400. Then told me that the inspection for clearing the mold was to be done by a third party and that I'd have to pay for the inspection as well. I've been in the property development business for more than 20 years and never seen anyone work for a few hours, remove 1/2 piece of sheetrock and a piece of baseboard and hold out there hand and ask for $2400! If you need mold remediation, my opinion, save some dollars --LOOK ELSEWHERE!

I've had the great pleasure of working with Mike and Tony for almost 10 years. They are quintessential professionals who time and time again have done great work for every client I've sent their way. I am very picky about who I refer out as many times our clients look at referrals as an extension of our company. MIDA is at the top of my list.
