This place just does not do honest business. I had a formal event to attend in NY that I was flying into town to attend. I called the day before to ask if they could simply press (not dry clean) my suit and dress shirt same day. The person on the phone agreed. When I get to CODC&CT, a man in the shop remembers I called and then proceeds to write up a ticket to press the dress shirt for $15 and the suit for $55. $70 just to press a NEW shirt/suit and he was not even going to do it while I waited.
He wanted me to come back several hours later. I obviously left. I wandered around Manhattan and happened into GREEN CLEANERS at 28 E. 22nd Street, NY NY. They pressed both items for $24 and it was ready in an hour. They were even going to deliver it to me but my hotel was over a mile away. Go to GREEN CLEANERS. Don't ever go to CODC& CT. Where's the 0 Stars button?

I only write reviews for things either VERY good or VERY bad. I say that to say the service I received at Casa Organic was VERY BAD. I brought in a pair of suede pants that had gotten a little dirty after a few wears. After researching how long this usually take and the cost to clean, I landed on this cleaners who quoted me a reasonable time and price compared to the market.
This cleaners was also down the street from my office. I was told the cleaner (and zipper repair) would take max 3 weeks and that I'd receive a text once it was ready. At the 3 week mark, and having received no text, I called the cleaners and was told the next week they'd be ready. Another week passes and the same thing happened. And yet again.
The last time I call, I'm told a text was sent a week prior (I received no such text) and that I could come in and get my pants. Whomever I spoke to was very short with me and unaccommodating. When I finally picked up my pants, the clean and repair were fine hence my 1 star, and I was given no explanation, just an apology. Will not be returning to this cleaners.

We did a deep clean of our apartment and clothes after a year of COVID craziness and a new baby. Casa was so great. Clothes, bedding, blankets, etc. picked up and delivered each time we needed it. Every time we got items back it was like a little more pandemic anxiety was lifted off our shoulders. I stopped in to thank them and met the owner working that day. She was so nice and we were really glad to be able to support a local family business thru our neurotic need to clean;- I highly recommend 'Casa' for your casa!

Easy to find and very clean. The change machine works and I had no problems with washing my clothes. I had hoped the machines would accept credit card but it seems like the credit card is only for the dry cleaning or fold and wash service. I put my clothes in the dryer twice and it still wasn't completely dry so that was a bit disappointing. The machines work pretty quickly though so that was a plus

In a nut shell go elsewhere. Can't say I wast warned. A friend had a really bad experience with their work. They had ruined one of his garments and only somewhat fixed it after he complained and set it back. It's still immensely damaged. I thought it a one off but it was enough for him to swear off them. I brought in some silk curtains that needed cleaning.
Sort of a test before giving them some expensive suits and a fur to clean. Luckily they didn't ruin them but they were anything but clean when they were returned. I specified that they were dusty as they had been hanging for a while. I wanted them fully cleaned. They came back nearly if not just as dusty as the day they had been dropped off. True they were less wrinkled and hung neatly.
However the curtains were not what any reasonable person would consider clean. For a COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS and a no rush turn around that is completely UNACCEPTABLE. A cleaner should as you might imagine clean the article when that is the services you pay for and it is in the name. I won't be returning with other business and nor will those I know. I will leave customer service component out of this review. The service it self was the main problem and that would simply be nitpicking and not worth discussion.

I've had some bad dry cleaner experiences -- which you'll see I'm happy to share on Yelp -- but these guys are one of the best I've found. They're not terribly expensive, but they do CO2 cleaning, which is awesome, and they've never lost of damaged one of my garments. I've also used them for tailoring and found them to be solid.
They seem to do everything by the books; everything gets entered into the computer properly, they have a lot of staff to help and they always check the tickets. I've gone to cleaners before who like to play that "we know you, so just drop your clothes and come back in a couple of days" game, but that's how stuff gets lost. These guys don't mess around. They're professional. My shirts appreciate that.

I must be the unluckiest person in town because, despite giving them second, third and fourth chances, I was always disappointed. Initially, I was pleased with the services. Then, they didn't bring back my laundry bag along with the clean clothes. As I would not feel comfortable asking them to pick up my clothes put in an anonymous bag (we live in a big building, and the hall is always full of laundry bags), I stopped using their services for a while, until one day I was in the area of Casa for work. So, I stopped by and asked for a new laundry bag.
I was given the old one and kind of scolded because I was not using the company's services anymore. But they did not realize I was not using their services because they forgot to bring back my bag, which prevented me from calling them. Sometime later, I called them for a pick up and then went on a business trip for over 2 weeks. When I came back, my spouse told me I did not have received any dry cleaning since I left. So, I called Casa and asked them when I was supposed to receive my clean clothes.
Worried that my clothes must have gotten lost, we finally find out that they were still with the doorman, and that despite having arranged for a pick up, no one at Casa had ever come to pick up my clothes. Someone from Casa eventually came to pick up the clothes, but despite I had made clear that inside of their own bag (where I put underwear to have washed and folded) I had put a second bag with two cashmere sweaters for dry cleaning, a few days later I was delivered clean underwear but wrinkled cashmere sweaters still in need of dry cleaning! So, I had to call a third time, and wait longer to have the sweaters cleaned.
For the trouble, the manager offered a discount on my next order. The discount, the manager said, would appear on my account, but when I called for another pick up of clothes and mentioned the discount, the employee I talked with said they could not see anything on my account and they treated me like I was trying to trick them into giving something I did not have the right to.
I had to talk with the manager before being treated respectfully as a normal client should be. I won't mention that time when I sent them a cashmere sweater for repair along with its own cashmere threads with the (written) instructions of sending me back those threads they would not need in case I would need them again in the future (of course, those threads never came back to me and when I called I was answered that at that stage those cashmere threads could not be located), but I cannot avoid mentioning the last two chances I gave them: in the first case, the issue was the anxiety I had to go through because Casa said they could not find my bag of laundry (which eventually turned out to having been delivered already, as I found out after several phone calls and much worrying), in the second (and last, as I am done with them), they lost one of my cashmere hats. I guess it is time to move on and try my chances elsewhere!

I've used this cleaner for years. Not because it's well priced but because it's close. It's not well priced. Over a year ago I had dropped off a tuxedo, I had worn it once to an event and had a wedding coming up. I was best man out of town. The jacket in the dry cleaned tux was not mine. It was many sizes too small. I had to rush to find a rental.
After more than a year I've given up trying to contact the owner. They've given me nothing but a run around. I don't have time to take them to small claims court or I would. It's ridiculous that they won't even talk to me. Not the employees but the owner. These people don't do honest business and I never had any resolution.
They never found my jacket and they've lost all my and my wife's business. Seriously what do you want in a dry cleaner? Clean clothes and if something happens that can be a normal mix up, TO FIX it! They won't and I recommend finding a less expensive and more honest dry cleaner. There are many in the neighborhood.

Recently I moved into New York City and was looking for free pick up and delivery for all my clothes cleaning needs. I having been using Casa Organic Dry Cleaners for many months now and all is going very well. Since they are all Organic I noticed the clothes smell very well. My wash and fold laundry is also done by Casa every week and I must say they do a great job on this as well, clothes smell really clean, folded and no socks missing.all items are delivered usually next day or on the date as promised. Casa's tailor also fantastic and he fixed a small whole for me on my dress that I didn't even see.thank you Steve.
Their prices are less than what I paid before and that helps me pay my rent. As a person new to the City it's nice to have a great service you can count on like this one. Recently I recommended them to my friend Gary and he also said they are doing a great job for him as well. They do close at 7pm so I wish there were open a little later sometimes but I have a doorman so that's not so bad.
What really impresses me the most with Casa is the staff all seem so nice when I am speak with them over the phone or in person. It really is rare to find so many people with such a positive attitude about their job. For now I give Casa Organic Dry Cleaners my highest praise as the best Dry Cleaners I have ever worked with.

We have been using Casa cleaners for the past two years and really appreciate the staff, especially Sandy, helping out with any of our needs! Whenever we have an issue or concern she works quickly to remedy and get us a resolution as fast as possible and I love that they use organic cleaning detergent as well since I try to only use clean, non-chemical based products.

I've been coming to Casa Dry Cleaners for years and I could not love them anymore than I already do! They cover all cleaning needs from dry cleaning, laundry, stain removal, tailoring, etc. They are always accommodating and fast! They have the fastest turnaround than any other dry cleaners in NYC. Not only are they fast and reliable, they do an incredible job. I've walked in with the toughest stains and without fail they are always able to get my clothes looking as good as new. Prices are great- most affordable in the area.
The entire staff at Casa is amazing- you can tell they know what they're doing and you can trust your clothes with them. I've recommended to all of my friends in the area and everyone has been very happy. Definitely a place I will keep coming back to!

Super impressive cleaners! I flew to NY with my wife for a big event and of course, the airline ruined my luggage and my beautiful new Brioni suit and my wife's dress, The Sheraton hotel suggested we try Casa Organic before panicking, and they totally saved me! They did an amazing job cleaning my suit and my wife's dress was perfect. I was incredibly impressed with their service! If I lived in NY, I would use these guys forever. Highly recommend!

As a New York City Legal Blogger an authority in honest legal reviewing, Casa Organic Dry Cleaners is my favorite dry cleaning company in NYC. They do a phenomenal job on dry cleaning and wash a fold. In addition to that, the service is very kind and welcoming. Ruben is very kind and caring about the products you bring in as well as making sure you're being served highly. I highly recommend Casa Organic Dry Cleaning.

I was initially upset with some overcharges to the base price listed on the website, however, you must understand that they are very thorough with their cleaning process. They will get your stuff well cleaned. I would suggest a little more communication when charging extra. However, if you have nice clothes that need good care and good cleaning, this is your place!

Ruben and everyone at Casa Dry Cleaners were so incredibly helpful when everything I owned was damaged in a fire. First of all, they do an amazing job on your day to day dry cleaning and tailoring; but if you need extra help with problematic cleaning, as I did, they go the extra mile. They pay particular attention to each garment and the special care they may need. Did I say how nice they are? Thank you! Mimi

My search continues. New to the area. I've used CASA for both their laundry and tailoring services. Laundry is fine. My only complaint is that even though I have my account set up for fee delivery, unless I call they always forget to deliver. I also brought a pair of sweats to the tailor and asked him to add a drawstring. He boasts skills that he has yet to demonstrate.
I picked up the sweats told him I was concerned about work and asked him to fix it. He said there is nothing to be fixed and that's the only way he could have sewn it. He said he would be here to fix it if it broke, but it wouldn't break. I could have done this at home without paying him $50. I will now need to redo it and will not be using them again.

Casa Organic Dry Cleaners is the best well organized and polite business in NYC! Whatever you ask them to do they do it right away. Not only does this stunning, breathtaking business do what is asked and needed, but they do it with love and joy to make sure you have the best cloths possible! If you don't agree with me then what is the best mind-blowing business? Exactly, it's Casa Organic Dry Cleaners!

I had a pair of white pants altered for my engagement party. I was nervous about having the work done since the pants hem is on a high low curve. I went to 4 different places. CASA gave me an amazing price and took thorough measurements. The pants were ready on time despite the holidays and were perfect! Thank you again for your attention to detail and understanding what I wanted.

When I moved into the neighborhood a few months ago, I wanted to bring some of my business suits to be dry cleaned. Brought everything in and was impressed with how professional and courteous everyone is. My suits came back perfect; I had a sweater that I had written off because of the wine stain I felt could never come out. I figured I had nothing to lose bring it to Casa, they got the stain out and sweater is brand spanking new.
The prices are not crazy - they are totally in the price range of Manhattan. It is just a win win. Everything I have brought comes back no complaints and the staff is always so friendly. This place is one of the best perks that I have of moving to this neighborhood, it's awesome.

I sent my laundry and dry cleaning here for over a year and had decent results. Then two weeks ago I was delivered a white dress to my building and my credit card was charged 85 dollars. I immediately called and informed them of the mistake. I was pretty concerned that they had sent someone's valuable dress to the wrong person and it didn't give me much faith in the store.
They told me they would refund me the money. A week later when nothing had been refunded, I called again and was told that the girl whose dress they altered had prepaid and that I would need to prove to them by showing my credit card statement that I had actually been charged! They then promised me that they would refund me the money. Another week went by and still nothing has been refunded. Through the entire process they have not been apologetic or in fact have been very rude. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I would avoid them at all costs.

I came here for dry cleaning and was not impressed. They took a long time to get to me, even though there was only one other customer in the store, and then they took a while to count and organize my clothes. I had a lot of stuff to drop off but felt like it shouldn't have taken that long. And then the total cost to dry-clean everything was over $200! I've never paid that much for a dry cleaning order. The clothing was fine when I picked it up, but I felt like they should have better service for how much money they charged me.

They pickup my clothes within a timely manner from my doorman and deliver them within a day or two. The clothes smell fresh and clean. All my dry cleaning is hung perfectly and is wonderfully clean. Ruben, the owner, is great to work with and is there to make sure I'm happy. Steve is their tailor and is just as pleasant.

I give them my dry cleaning for my work clothes, which come back both dry and clean, so I guess they satisfy all the parts of their name. They also pick up and deliver (for free)! And you can eat all of their soap and your clothes after they finish, because it's organic! [citation needed] Shirts are reasonable, pants are pretty pricey.
