NY MAIDS

Paid $700 for a move-in "steam" cleaning and I honestly can't tell they did any cleaning at all. See pictures attached. The bathroom shower head had grime and mold on it. The bathroom walls and towel racks had dirt and dust all over them. The top of the cabinets and refrigerator were not cleaned. The floor has a weird film on it. I don't even see where the steamed at all. I ended up cleaning the entire place myself. They did not perform as promised. Total Waste of money. Won't ever use these people again.

My landlady booked NY Maids to deep clean my apartment last week, after I read the good Google reviews and recommended them to her. The previous tenants had moved out the day prior and I would be moving in that evening. The apartment key was left for them downstairs with the concierge since neither my landlady or I were in town at the time of their arrival. Therefore, they came, "cleaned" and left unsupervised.

When I arrived that evening I discovered that NY Maids had done a vey poor job. They did not clean the freezer AT ALL (it was quite dirty), they only cleaned the fridge in part, they left rotting fruit in the fridge, they did not clean the dining table (I later wiped it down myself and the food stains disappeared), they left a glass with water on a bedside table, left a food stain on that same bedside table (again, I cleaned it off myself), the carpet didn't look vacuumed, they left large empty boxes sitting in the living room, and the apartment didn't have a "recently cleaned" smell.

About the only thing I was certain they had cleaned were the bathtubs and toilets. They should be ashamed of themselves. It was really disturbing for me to think of surfaces not being wiped down, particularly during the Covid pandemic.

Great Experience! I hadn't been to my apartment for some time and when I arrived I was shocked, the dust from the open windows left soot everywhere and the bathroom flood from the upstairs apartmenrt, I knew I needed help fast. called NY Maids. The next day on the dot, all three arrived and went to work immediately. They brought all their own cleaning supplies, vacum with a special filter (better than a hepa) and cleaned from windows to inside fridge, from top to bottom, spotlessly.

They wore masks throughout the 3 hours. Very important for these times. The correspondence with the office was professional and courteous and helped make my life so much easier. Thank you, NY Maids

Best Cleaners in NYC! For starters, Ricardo is amazing! So professional! He finds (and eliminates) dirt in places I didn't even know existed. I have worked with Ricardo and Maria and New York Maids for over four years. And not only is the cleaning top notch, the schedulers and phone support staff is wonderful as well! Post construction cleaning. The crew of three arrived right on time. Scheduling had been easy and flexible. The crew was friendly and communicated easily when I asked for certain things to be done. We were unable to stay during the three hours that they worked, but when we returned that night to check it out we were very happy. They did a top notch job!

The person who scheduled the job called to follow up to make sure we were pleased. He let me know that the crew worked 30 minutes extra to get everything done.no charge. We left each worker a nice tip to show our gratitude for their hard work and professionalism.

Hakim did a very good job on my apartment. I moved out and needed to deliver the apartment clean to the next tenants. NY Maids responded to my requests in a timely manner unlike other cleaning services I contacted, they showed up on time and brought all the cleaning products needed for the job.

Ricardo and Juliana did a wonderful job on a studio apartment housing a friend of ours on the lower West side. This was an apartment in need of a cleaning SWAT team.years of grime, dust and more. They were on-time, put their all into the job, and were even able to remove what we thought were indelible stains. The price was right in the zone, the managers were courteous and very clear about all of the setup particulars. We will use this company again.

Needed service to help rid of all the pesticide dust from the exterminator treatments. Used this service this week and a different service previous week for my studio apartment. Completely night and day. The hourly rate here is consistent with what I expected. Even though it was a 4 hour minimum for home cleaning, Ricardo did an insanely spectacular job and was worth every penny and then some.

It was like I walked into a brand new apartment. For an extremely thorough cleaning, this is it. For a simple routine house clean, a four hour job is probably not needed depending on size of your unit. These five stars were well deserved.

NY Maids is great. Always on time and very thorough when cleaning. The main office customer service is great, someone is always available when I call.

Let's just say that when I took NY Maids to Small Claims Court, the clerk said "Are you SERIOUS?" And she actually added an interest fee onto the amount they owed because they had taken so long to deal with the situation. (Oh - and they never showed up for the small claims court appointment.) I cancelled my appointment 72 hours before the appointment and they still showed up.

I turned them away, called the office and they said "Oh, we're sorry, our mistake. We'll refund you but it might take a few days to show up on your credit card." I said thanks. For some reason, they came back two days later. I wasn't home. I called the office. They agreed to refund me again. I can't tell you how hard I tried to get refunded.

Then it changed to "we'll refund half the amount." Then they told me they changed credit card systems so they didn't have record of me, so therefore they couldn't pay me back. I still haven't gotten my $600 back, because their parent company is actually headquartered out of state. I can't review the cleaners because it never happened. I can tell you that I've never dealt with a more inept company in my life. And that's saying something.

The staff here is professional and very experienced. More importantly, they are very courteous and will address your needs and concerns. I highly recommend them for the job you need done.

In just four hours they made our one bedroom apartment look better than we thought possible. I had no idea our kitchen could sparkle. NY Maids ensured they were able to work through any language difficulty, and got exactly the service we wanted. They were on time, professional, and detail oriented. I've no doubt I'll use them again.

I have to admit that I made a mistake citing the wrong company. Here is an account of my follow up with this company. There is a lot of space in my home occupying two floors of a house, one of which is a finished basement with that basic cemented tile floor. It accumulates the most dirt and dust as well as the location of my bathroom and the kitty litter area.

Not only did I want that clean, I wanted the floors of my kitchen and dining room done. The living room has carpeting and I have no problem in using a vacuum. As far as the kitchen, I don't need anyone to wash my dishes or clean the top of my stove. I now get in touch with nymaids to make an appointment. They are sending one person for four hours.

I am making a priority list and viewing a checklist of what I need to supply. It tells me that the person can shop for the items and give me the bill if I choose. I have all but a large bucket. She shows up, sees my cats and tells me that she is allergic to them. She then asks if I have a mask. Not on the list, but I happen to have some dust masks.

Now she asks if I speak Spanish and tell her that I don't. She is speaking to me in English so I am making the assumption that she understood English as well. Wrong assumption as I later find out. I tell her that I have priorities on what has to be done. She begins to go the kitchen sink as I tell her that I do not need that area cleaned but do need the floors cleaned.

I then tell her that it is the basement that needs to be cleaned first. Due to my needing a cane to walk, it is difficult for me to go up and down the stairs often. Her first upset was seeing the floor that surrounded the cat litter. She asked for the vacuum cleaner and I told her that she first needed to sweep the floors. She used one of those Swiffer type mops.

There were places that the cats had thrown up and the stuff had hardened. I pointed out that she did not clean it well but she ignored it. At another point I watched her clean one area and it was obviously not cleaned up. She was trying to use a soft brushed broom dipped in water and it just did not work. I told her that she needed to use a brush (of which it was listed as supplies).

I got that she did not want to get down on the floor let alone do any bending. I gave her a broom with a hard brushed bottom of which could be screwed off so you can dip it into the sudsy water. When she went to do the bathroom I told her that she needed to do the corners signaling the direction with my hands. I later found that it wasn't done.

I pointed to an area just under the stairs that needed to be swept and washed. It didn't get done. It was basically that I would ask, she would say "yes" and not do it or the opposite. I could hear the vacuum going in the basement as she kept it on even when she wasn't using it. I told her that she had to clean out the vacuum so that it would not accumulate.

That didn't happen. Both vacuums needed to have the dirt dumped. As I sat in the living room I told her that I did not need the carpet vacuumed as it was something I could do myself. She nodded as if she understood and then began vacuuming the carpet. I had to repeat myself. As she was ending her time I asked if she did the stairs which accumulates cat hair and kitty litter from their paws.

She said that she did and again later found that it wasn't done. I had also told her that I needed the cat carrier cleaned out. She kept washing around the outside. I told her, "no, I need the inside cleaned". She was not a happy camper as it needed a bit of scrubbing and she was ready to leave. She used a lot of paper towels and finally used a sponge.

She then called to her office telling me that I have to speak with her manager to tell her if everything was okay. Now, she's handing me her phone and standing right there. Am I going to go through the entire scenario? I also figured that if she said she did something it was done. Having been tired and going out for the evening, I did not check all. The next morning I look around the basement to see that things are moved.

I found the NY Maids service online and decided to use them because of their spring cleaning anti-allergen package. I spent $277 plus a $40 tip to have two maids do a thorough cleaning for four hours. The first maid arrived on time and I showed him everything I wanted done. We had problems with bugs in our flour so I asked him if they could pull everything from our kitchen cabinets and give them a thorough wash.

He said that would be no problem. He also assured me that he was going to clean under everything. I left for work and thanked him. When I got home only 4 of the 20 shelves in our kitchen cabinets had been cleaned, and only in a cursory manor. The floor under my bed was clean, but nothing had been done under the other bed or any other piece of furniture in our small 400 square foot apartment.

The bathroom had been cleaned but there were still dirty patches. Most of the floor crevices were still dusty, and I had to sweep the next day. I don't know if the second maid ever came or how long the first maid stayed, but the result was extremely disappointing. For over $300 I had expected the deep clean advertised and instead received a service that I could have done myself in an hour.

I'd tried several services in the city and NY Maids was by far the best. It was easy to make a appointment with them, they showed up promptly (I had a 7am appt!), and actually did more than I expected they would. My place was spotless. On top of that, the woman who did the cleaning, Rosa, was so lovely. I wont be trying any other services! Thank you!

Friday May 3rd we had our first cleaning done by a woman named Altagracia. SHE WAS AMAZING! I can't speak for the service as a whole but as for my personal experience with Altagracia, it was above and beyond. We had been using a different derive for months and I could not BELIEVE the amount of dust, dirt, and garbage that Altagracia discovered under and behind things.

She moved every piece of furniture and let me tell you all of our furniture is super heavy wooden furniture. She was a dream and so pleasant. I can't wait to have her back.

Got an industrial cleaning done on our apartment and needed it done quickly. They were very helpful in setting up the appointment. Wasn't there during the cleaning but the apartment was in great shape when we returned. Now using them for recurring bi-weekly service.

My experience with NY Maids has been great. Cleaning is thorough and consistent. I love the customer service reminder call the day before a cleaning.

I got their most basic service to clean up after my move and before the new tenets moved in. The man they sent over was really nice. He helped me pack up a few loose items and even had the company call me to make sure all the things left behind could be thrown out.
