I must say I am so grateful for the outstanding care, professionalisms and workmanship I received from the staff at Maurice's. I have a very delicate 115 year old Christening gown in desperate need of repair, it was cared for lovingly, but because it was made from lace and cotton it was in need of repair. I spoke to Wendy on the phone who told me to come into the shop where she met with me and my daughter-in-law.
They were very honest with me and said that because of the delicate nature of the lace and material they were not sure if they could make the necessary repairs that would meet their expectations, much less mine. I was informed every step of the way, as the gown had to go through various stages of repair, cleaning and restoration. It was delivered to me and it exceeded all my expectations. It was restored beautifully. I am so very thankful and would be honored to recommend Maurice's to anyone.
