BUYER BEWARE: Company changes price at their whim. We hired this service to deep clean a 2br apartment. They quickly made accommodations to schedule us for the following week. At first the appointment was to be 9:00, quickly after this was scheduled we received a call saying the cleaners would be there at 7:30. Great! 7:30 rolled into 8:00 and after a phone message to the company (the call wasn't returned), the cleaning crew magically appeared in the unit (they say its a time window, but no window was given).

Now to the fun part, the company reserves the right to change the cost at their leisure. We chose a deep clean for a 2br apartment which had been kept in good condition ("the maids said it was very dirty" it wasn't, but isn't that what deep cleans are for?). The company was professional in setting up the cleaning appointment, but that is where it ended.

American Maids came in to clean my apartment and did an absolutely stellar job. They even cleaned my tooth brush holder and got behind my tv stand! Place looks great. Couldn't be happier. We had a minor domestic emergency when a construction worker in our place decided to cut tile IN OUR KITCHEN WITH A DRY SAW. There was dust. EVERYWHERE. I mean EVERYWHERE. We googled some places and found American Maids to be the most professional, best priced and speedy option. They were so accommodating and right on time. Then there is the cleaning. WOW.

I cannot believe how above and beyond they went and how amazing our place looks. They were so efficient and I cannot say enough fantastic things about the customer service, pricing and results. We generally clean our place ourselves but with this kind of customer service and pricing, we are thinking of making it a monthly thing. USE THESE PEOPLE!

Don't use this company! Their employees break things and then lies about it to get out of paying for the damage caused. Stay away

Two or three person team has been cleaning my house for about five years now. They do good work, are reasonably priced, and respond to emails quickly if there's a need to change a date or ask a question. Recommended.

I requested a quote via site and they responded very quickly. I turned over an apartment for new tenants and they made the place as new as can be. I accidentally overpaid and manager immediately called me back to inform me they would be voiding an over paid check. They are hard working and honest. I will definitely be using them again. It is hard to find companies with this level of integrity these days.

Great job as always! Today was my third cleaning-service with American Maids at my condo. Some services require that you provide the cleaning equipment, but American Maids bring everything. You just let them in, and they take care of the rest. Very friendly crews, and I look forward to their monthly services!

Today's house cleaning by American Maids was a gift from my daughter and son-in-law. I am very pleased with the results. The two women went right to work and finished cleaning the main floor of my house in less than an hour. It would have taken me half a day and all my energy to do what they did. To start - I'd like to say this company has a great cleaning crew. They are very thorough and pleasant. This review is going to focus on their management/billing practices. I called a couple weeks ago to get a cleaning because they had sent a $10 coupon out via email. When talking to the woman at the office she said a deep clean would be $160 and a basic clean would be $89 BUT the coupon wouldn't apply to the $89.

I then read her the email I got with the coupon which stated it DID apply to the basic cleaning and she said, "Oh OK I guess its $79 then." I booked the appointment because $79 for a small 2 bed 1 bath apartment is pretty good. Now, 2 weeks later, I open my checking account and see I have a charge for $132 and think well they must have made a mistake.

I called today and talked to an incredibly unhelpful woman who argued that the prices I was quoted "aren't real" and asked who I talked to (uh I don't know it's your company). I asked for a refund of $53 and she said no, we don't have a $89 price option. She did however mentioned that no coupon was applied so at the very least hopefully I can get $10 back.

She hung up saying she had to talk to the owner and would call me back. STILL haven't heard back. This company is shady now that I'm looking into it - no prices posted on website or anywhere and no accountability. I've suggested this company to two people to use in the past but with how much of a headache their billing is I wouldn't recommend them to anyone now.

American Maids did an amazing job cleaning out two 3 bedroom apartments for our building. My apartment was a move out deep clean, but I also wanted to gift a cleaning to my amazing, hard working sister. Full disclosure: She has a husband, two kids and a dog - so yeah house cleaning is not necessarily top priority. American Maids deep cleaning service is competitive but worth every penny and you get exactly what you pay for - a detailed, professional cleaning of your home.

My sister was thrilled to come back to a spotless home after her summer vacation. She was so impressed with how clean everything was in both apartments. She couldn't stop raving about it. So do yourself or someone you love and hire American Maids pros to clean up the mess.

This is the best cleaning service I have ever used. Ever. I was referred to American Maids by my friend Cynthia Resser. She did not steer me wrong. This is the second time I've had Carmen and Cesar clean my place. They were amazing. I am gobsmacked by the job they did. I will be using them forever. A couple of months ago, I gave American Maids a poor review.but would now like to upgrade that. The Maids showed up pretty much on time (about 15 mins late.they had quite an interesting story to tell!) and went right to work. They were diligent in their efforts to clean even those rooms no one had been in for quite some time. When they were not sure about something they asked.

I was quite happy with what they did this time. I had suggested that if they send out Maids on Saturday that they should have someone in the office to answer the phone in case problems come up. They still haven't done that just yet.and that's why 4 and not 5 stars.

Yelp failed me. not sure if we just had bad luck. the team of cleaners were one hour late. on top of that, NO ONE communicated with us about this delay. i had to take time out of my workday chasing them down - phone calls, emails. communication is lacking all around - i had specific instructions about locking up and cleaning interiors that were given to the rep upon booking. none of this was forwarded onto the actual team. i made sure everything was clear given the work was being done at my parents' house and no one would be able to be there. they happily obliged and said this is a common experience yet they did not follow a single thing. too many other options there to stay with this subpar agency.

Over the past year, I've had some trouble finding a reliable cleaning company to do a once a month sweep of our place. Luckily, I found American Maids through a Facebook moms group. They are fantastic to work with. I call or email when I need a cleaning and get put on the schedule. A day or so later, it's followed up with to make sure that the payment method is still the same.

On the day of the cleaning, the cleaning crew of two ladies arrives within the time frame. For most of the cleanings, I was on maternity leave. So when they arrived, my baby and I would head out for lunch while they sparkled up our place. They loved cooing at my little one too, how can you resist a cute little baby!?! By the time I return home, the house is thoroughly clean.

With some cleaning companies, it's a surface clean for appearance sake. Not so with American Maids, they really clean your home and well. I highly recommend them as a cleaning service.

They do a good job cleaning, I just wish they really moved things around and cleaned under the bed it's really just a wipe down, dust down cleaning service. They have a checklist and you'll only get a specified amount of things done. Right now they just vacuum around the table, as opposed to moving it aside and then vacuuming. But the Ladies are very nice and pleasant and they do clean, but they're often on the clock and so you get a very mechanical list checked service. The customer service is excellent and they adjust to any travel I have planned. They come on time and always send me email reminders for appointments so I never miss one.

I used them several times when I broke my shoulder and couldn't do much work around the house. I have a dog who sheds, so they had alot of vacuuming and dusting work to do. They sent a team of 3, usually, and the house was spotless when they finished. They were fast and efficient - as well as thorough. The fridge cleaning service is well worth the up charge. I also used them when I sold my house to clean before the new owners moved in. Again it was spotless, even inside the closets. I highly recommend American Maids.

Competitively priced, timely, communicative. They fit me into their busy schedule when I needed a deep clean before hosting a big party. The crew showed up on time and were careful to make sure I was satisfied with their work--they even pointed out a couple of marks they couldn't get off the floor to make sure I was ok with it (stains and glue from construction--there was nothing they could've done to get them up).

I appreciate the ability to fill out a request for a quote on their website. A surprisingly large number of cleaning services don't accept credit cards (or highly discourage it), so that was nice, too. Overall this was the best experience I have had with a cleaning company. Definitely recommend!

I've been using American Maids for the past year, and I couldn't be happier. They are very easy to work with, take payments by credit card and have been constantly superior in customer service. The management makes sure I'm happy with every clean, and once I found the right fit with a cleaning team they make sure to give me the same team whenever possible. And my team is amazing. They do a fantastic job and even found earrings I thought I had lost. I really enjoy this service!

A clean house is so very relaxing. I used my Groupon today and had the best experience out of the previous 3 cleanings I've had with other companies. My previous experiences with other cleaning services have actually mde me hesitant to try another service, because I felt as though I was wasting money on what looked like a pretty mediocre job.

But today I was pretty impressed. Making the appointment was fairly easy. They decided on 1 person for 4 hours, and that person was set to arrive between 7-8 am. At 6:58 am, my doorbell rang and Natalia arrived lugging what was probably 100 lbs. of cleaning supplies & a vacuum. I was working from home and so was present while she was cleaning. Aside from an awfully loud vacuum, you would never have known she was there.

She seems to have been very thorough, especially in the kitchen & bath-- which is the most important in my book-- and everything looks great. She even cleaned the dishes my husband left in the sink. You know, because it's achingly far from the dishwasher.easily 2 inches. In any case, I'll review my husband separately. I would use American Maids again.
