Luce's Chimney & Stove Shoppe

We had a malfunctioning and incorrectly designed fireplace that had to be demolished and replaced. Luce's personnel was very helpful in providing pros and cons of a variety of options. We were able to schedule demolition and rebuild to fit our schedules. The firebox rebuild and installation went well. The brick portion was a challenge (COVID, health issues).

Though the back-up bricklayers did a good job with layout, John had to com back to fill in mortar and finesse the look and the project looks GREAT! Overall, we have been very pleased with Luce's workmanship and response to questions or issues. Thank you, John, for great customer service!

A very nice place and friendly staff. They are very knowledgeable about woodstoves and not just what they sell. They will answer all of your questions and give good advise.

Salesman was busy on the computer when we came in. He acted as if we were bothering him. He never got up off of his stool. Only One working fireplace when we were there. Highly disappointed after having this place recommended by friends who purchased there. Staff were eating McDonalds in the back room with the door open. I could hear them using foul language.

My young son was with me and unfortunately heard them too. Response to owner: 03/15/2022 According to my Google timeline, I was there Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 12:20-12:40 P.M. One of the people with the foul mouth was a young man with longer dark hair wearing black overalls and a stovepipe hat. They came in from the side door with their food. They went into the door to the back room between the hightop table with the computer, where the other staff member was "helping" me and the one fireplace that was burning.

Drove over 1 hour to get there. There was a sign on the door saying they were closed for construction. Maps said they were open. Edit after business response 02/14/2022. Interesting that your story doesnt match what your staff told me when I called that day. They told me you were indeed open, that I should have come inside. They said they weren't aware of the sign on the door saying you were "closed"

Feb 16 2022, I had my Woodburner cleaned out by Luce's, Austin and Devin. They were so knowledgeable and very experienced, answered all my questions and did a Great Great job cleaning, re-bricking the inside too. Very polite guys and played with my dog! I bought my stove from Luce's they installed it on 9/11 when the World Trade Centers went down. I will always use Luce's, cuz they r the Best and take Pride in their company and their workers. Super company and great group of guys. Steve and Austin worked their tails off to get the chimney liner down the flue and lined up properly. Wood stove insert is beautiful and really kicks out the heat. Had many others from Luce come to the house to help finish and clean install. Neat, clean and tidy. Thank you so much

Super friendly knowledgeable staff. Great experience. Answered every single question. Many selections for all budgets. One stop shop that offers multiple choices of fireplaces and wood burning stoves. The shop installs and preforms cleaning and maintenance options as well.

Had Luke's out today for cleaning and maintenance check. Eddie did call to let us know of his arrival time, which was very much appreciated. Eddie and Dan did a fantastic job, as we had not had a proper cleaning in some time. Eddie let us know that everything was in good working condition and did recommend cleaning at least once per year. We definitely recommend Luce's for any fireplace service you may need.

We purchased our gas fireplace insert in 2012 from this company. We have been extremely satisfied with both the fireplace and the service. My unit had its yearly "checkup" this morning and passed with flying colors. Eddie was the service tech that came today. He has been here before and today like on previous visits he has been prompt, courteous, pleasant and professional.

Every person I have dealt with at Luce's has been knowledgeable and helpful. Today, Eddie removed limbs from my roof while he was up checking the chimneys.that goes beyond his job description! Eddie and Dan provided exceptional service today for our annual fireplace check. They were professional and friendly, arrived at the time indicated, and work in an efficient and clean manner. Luce installed the fireplace about 9 years ago and we are completely satisfied with their service and quality year after year.
