We recently become customers and have had an absolutely flawless experience thus far; extremely easy scheduling, accommodating pick up and delivery, and the quality of work has been perfect! I have found the prices to be phenomenal value for the services provided. Quality of service is impeccable.

In addition to being perfectly clean each piece was stored appropriately in clothing bags with individual tags printed to identify each item and the designer; the team even cataloged a chapstick I left in my winter work coat. I love the app which makes scheduling and communication an absolute breeze. I'm very grateful for the impeccable service and look forward to working with Janet Davis and team for our dry cleaning needs.

Unbelievable! I went to wear my light purple, favorite sport coat the other day and realized it had splatter stains all over the front. The last time I wore it was early summer so it had sat with those stains on it for half a year. Totally bummed, I had Janet Davis Cleaners pick it up and this time I put instructions on their client portal bringing to their attention all the stains.

One week later, the sport coat came back looking like I just bought it! I still can't believe it because what I didn't tell Janet Davis Cleaners is I had tried removing the stains myself and couldn't do it! I've been mad at myself for ruining my favorite sport coat and we've all done it. To get it back looking like brand new - Unbelievable! In my book, they are the GOAT!

I took my wedding dress in for a steam and press with only 3 weeks to go before my big day. I was a little stressed as they hadn't cleaned the dress prior to resale (bought it consignment) and the cleaners at janet Davis went above and beyond to make sure that it was spotted and looked perfect. They were so kind and understanding of short time frames and even did the spotting for free in light of the fact that they were unsure if they would be able to get it done on such short notice. Such kind people, I couldn't say enough good things.

These guys are so reliable, and give such great customer service! Our clothes are perfectly cleaned and wrapped. Personal attention, to us and our clothes! Not one complaint!

I live with a very fussy man who has a lot of dress shirts that he wears daily. I've been to three or four different cleaners, this being my fourth or fifth attempt. It's the only place that he likes. I highly recommend them. I think their work is quality and their staff is friendly and accommodating. I love their pick up and delivery, I just started using that recently. Parking is never a problem. If you're looking for a new place give them a try. They really work hard to please.

Their prices are very high and quality is quite poor. My clothes were wrinkled and had a faint smoke smell to them.

They do great work on my St. John suits and skirts. They always look so much better after a cleaning. Price is good. $18 a skirt $25 and up for jackets but well worth it.

Liking the retro sign and being new to the area, my husband and I decided to give this cleaner a try. Fast forward a few days and we go to pick up our stuff. That's when we just about lost our minds when we saw how much our bill was for a few button down shirts, a sweater, a pair of pants, a scarf, and a winter coat. $100+. We lived in downtown Chicago and DC (where we both wore suits several times a week which produced a ton of dry cleaning) and never experienced prices like this. Anywhere.

Everything looked fine which is why I'm giving two stars, but the exorbitant pricing is ridiculous. I left feeling like an idiot for having spent that much. Embarrassed even. Fingers crossed the place next door is decent. They've got a cool sign too.

Had a mishap with having my garment ready in the time promised, but this place went above and beyond to remedy - including having the owner drop it off himself.

Went in to get my wedding dress cleaned. at first when I called they said that wedding dress preservation costs started at 300, I figured the price may jump a couple hundred dollars or so but they quoted me 925.00! But I need to get my dress cleaned and preserved. so I asked for a copy of guarantees and liability information, the "owner" I believe; David Matthews ( an arrogant asswhole) said NO and that he didn't want my business. so of coarse I took my dress elsewhere to Earl's cleaners and they quoted me 300 for the same if not more detailed service! I do not recommend Janet Davis to anyone!

Not my "normal" dry cleaners but believe it or not a referral from my normal dry cleaners for a specific "coffee" and "lipstick" stain on a brand new formal dress only worn once. The dress itself did not need to be dry cleaned but the owner was quick to remove all the stains and allow me to leave within 10 minutes with my beautiful, new now stain free dress. WOW!

Talk about incredible customer service. Did I mention that he didn't charge me? And of course I would have paid whatever it would have been. THANK YOU! Our new go to place for all our formal attire cleaning and anything that needs to be professionally cleaned.

Worst experience ever. Took my wedding dress there. They held it for 4 months and didn't let me see it before they boxed it when I specifically asked to do so. They claim they told me there was a two week window for me to view my dress. Never told me that. Then they tried to blame their mistake on me.

My experience was exceptional, this was my first visit. The staff was pleasant and helpful. They gave me several options to assist with restoring my garment. After picking up items I was astounded at the results. I will be returning and recommending Janet Davis cleaners of Bloomfield. Thanks

Nobody and I mean nobody provides a product like Janet Davis Cleaners. Not only do I get great service from everyone even the owner himself David generally is at the counter helping and very courteous to everyone. With respect to the services they provide they stand out way ahead of the rest. I worked in this industry for years when I was younger and I will say that there is no one else out there like Janet Davis Cleaners I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. They truly care about the product they produce and they're always looking to be a step ahead in the industry. Great work Janet Davis Cleaners.

Total scam! Seriously. As a father of a girl who needed her high school her white formal dress cleaned, this place is outrageous. Because the dress was purchased as demo at a boutique, they called it a 'wedding gown'. Tried to charge my wife $170 to clean it, even though it is not a wedding gown and never worn. Kept saying place of purchase decided price.

Counter girl kept going in back to speak to the owner, but the owner never came out. Jerk! Kept trying to up sell a wedding gown box package for serious $$$, but my daughter needs this dress to wear. Said it would take 2 and 1/2 months, but then begrudgingly said could be done in a month. When my wife asked how much to clean her dress for the formal, it was only $30, because it was not a wedding gown, despite being more ornate.

After getting pissed, my wife left and called the bridal dress cleaning shop in Grosse Pointe. They said $30 and done in 2 weeks. I don't know what scam the wedding dress industry pulls on brides, but this is at the heart of the scam industry. As an elite reviewer, I never rant. This place deserves a negative rant. I just wish I was there to tear the owner a fresh one in person. I may even go there to do so. Terrible business so please avoid.

I would NEVER return to Janet Davis Cleaners and I tell EVERYONE who values their clothes to avoid this dump. Janet Davis RUINED my favorite J Crew skirt by leaving a bleach spot in the front center when they tried (and failed) to remove a small stain that was barely noticeable. When I told the woman at the counter, she casually remarked "Oh, they'll refund your $10." REALLY? WTF!

I don't care about the $10. She wouldn't even give me a refund when I showed her the bleach spot! She told me that she would "have to talk to the owners." Again, WTF! REALLY? Someone ended up calling and they informed me that I have a $10 credit. Wow, thanks. That really helps after ruining a skirt I had $175 invested in, including tailoring.

I thought "and WHY would I bring in more of my favorite clothes when Janet Davis cleaners has already demonstrated that they can't be trusted to properly care for my garments?" The second skirt I had cleaned was returned to me with so much cleaning solvent that I literally could not work the zipper. I resorted to using wax to loosen it up. I'm glad I didn't trust this cleaner with more expensive items.

My co-worker was a faithful customer until I shared my experience. She no longer trusts her clothes to Janet Davis. I hope Janet Davis goes out of business--they are one of the worst cleaners I have ever used.

They have caused irreparable damage to many items throughout the years. Mind you, the damage was blatantly obvious. However, they'd pretend like nothing was wrong. Their "amends" is lacking and/or non-existent. The last straw was when an associate flat out lied to me and pretended our prior conversation about a damaged item never happened. Wow. Also, the manager does NOT return phone calls nor does he attempt to remedy issues. Cowardly and unethical in my eyes. Over-priced to boot. I just switched to Huntington Cleaners; I should've years ago.

No doubt JDs is one of the priciest dry cleaners around but if you want something done right. I can't fathom the idea of dropping off my most expensive garments at a $2.29 cleaners in fear of them botching the job and ruining a piece of clothing I love. So for those special items that I plan on and want to last a lifetime, I bring them here every few months to freshen them up. It's around $9 to clean a pair of slacks, yikes.but I'd rather be safe than sorry. That said, you likely won't find someone doing a finer job.

I came here at the last minute with a terribly wrinkled flower girl dress and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I picked it up the next day and it was perfect. I rarely get things dry cleaned or pressed, but this is the place to go when I need it.

Customer service is excellent. My shirts and pants always come out clean and renewed. Their prices are typical of the industry.

I got a letter from Kyle Matthews ("fanatical master cleaner at Janet Davis") saying " all I want to hear from you is. complaints" so hear goes. I have been going to Huntington and decided to try Janet Davis a try because its supposed to be the most high end cleaner in the area and I had a high end Givenchy dress shirt that I spilled a smoothie on.

This was the first cleaning for the shirt and my first time trying Janet Davis. First they forgot to deliver the shirt and I had to call in and ask what happened to my shirt and the lady apologized and delivered it the next day. Easily Forgiven. However when I got the shirt back, the service might as well been the 1$ dry cleaning down the street. While most of the stain was gone there was still a stain on shirt that they appeared to have missed.

More so on the edges of the collar and sleeves, fading was occurring. I have given shirts countless times to huntington and fading has never occurred and after this shirts first clean, fading occurs? Doesnt make sense. When you pay $10 to clean one shirt you expect better service and at least if they were having problems with a stain they should have made a note of informed me. I am going to stick with huntington which is cheaper and does and infinitely better job. Hope you like my complaint Kyle.

Recently moved to Royal Oak and needed a dry cleaner. After a couple attempts at other cleaners, I settled on JD. Very happy that I did! I haven't been impressed with services I've used in the past, but this is the FIRST dry cleaner that I have been satisfied with quality of their laundering, especially of my white shirts. Are they more expensive than others? Yes! But what good is paying $.99 per shirt for dry cleaning if you're not happy? Paying for unsatisfactory service.now that's a waste of money! I highly recommend JD.

Anything domestic I despise.(except making brownies), so of course you gotta love a Dry Cleaner that delivers your clothes and bills you monthly. I don't use Janet Davis that much, in fact, it's been a minute since I lived in Miami for two years, but the building never changed and the service (last time I checked) remains great. If you want to preserve a wedding gown or anything of value, I would definitely suggest entrusting them to clean it for you. They advertise greatly.and they are also fairly more expensive than your average dry cleaner.
