Great cleaner. I have trusted them for many years with all my cleaning. They have saved some of my clothes I thought were ruined.

Belding Cleaners is INCREDIBLE! I had a bridesmaids dress that needed to be altered and they said it would be a two-week turnaround time which I was more than happy with as the event wasn't for a few months, and 3 days later I received a call that they finished altering the dress. Amazing customer service, phenomenal affordability ($35 to alter my dress, I mean come on! amazing!).I live in Detroit and I will make the 15 minute drive here without hesitation every time I need something dry cleaned or altered. Love this place!

Very CLEAN atmosphere. I know they take great care of my clothing and they don't throw my articles on the floor in a pile. All my items come back looking brand new and hung or folded with care. I highly recommend this dry cleaning company and give them 5 stars!

I have lived in New York city, Washington, DC and Palo Alto, CA and have dressed professionally for 38 years, including the primary issue of custom-made dress shirts. While ordering new custom made shirts from Anthony Rimanelli in Grosse Pointe Woods, (the best custom fine clothier I have ever worked with) he recommended that I take my shirts to Belding Cleaners because they do not apply starch to the shirts they clean. Starching causes shirts to shirk and certainly the chemicals are unhealthy.

I was a bit skeptical simply because I was not certain the shirts would have a fine finished look to them. Boy, was I wrong! I cannot begin to tell you the quality of care that this team of professionals apply to their craft in caring for garments. Yes, it is $5 a shirt but the life of the shirts will far exceed the cost of the exceptional care that Belding applies to their craft. Joe is an exceptional small business owner and a member of the community in high standing.

He cares about his employees, his business district and the community in which he lives. Belding Cleaners is the finest small business that I have ever had the privilege of doing business.

Recently I took in a custom King bedspread for dry cleaning. They did a super job in a timely manner and the price was very reasonable. After being notified by text, the finish product was ready for my pick up in an impressive plastic tote. It is obvious they give great care & detail to the customers. I highly recommend there services.

Staff is very friendly and customer service oriented! They cleaned two of my designer bags amazingly! They were in.bad shape. Also, the guy who I think was the owner was fine as all hell

I never used Belding before but needed a reputable cleaners to dry clean expensive linen draperies! I was nervous of possible shrinkage. Joe went up and beyond the call of duty. He Called me in and discussed how the process was going to happen! Very pleased with service. Highly recommend them for expensive items! Will use again.

I had a couple of valuable (to me) signed sports jerseys in which I had accidentally dirtied up from wearing too much. I was concerned that having them cleaned would fade the autographs, but Belding was able to take care of it without any damage/fading to the memorabilia. Check out the difference in the before/after photos! I highly recommend Belding if you have any similar needs.

6 STARS! Nobody is better! Been going here for over 20 years for laundered shorts and dry cleaning services trying about 6 different places the 10 years prior. Staff is extremely courteous and friendly. I've never had an issue with the quality or service! Can't say that about many businesses these days.

I had one shirt and one sport coat. They changed me$27.50 I could have bought a new one. Price was ridiculous. I'll never go there again.

I can't say enough about this place! It has the best staff, quality work and great pricing! They cleaned a dress coat for my husband and it was ready before I he time they gave! We asked them to fix a leather coat which was torn on a fence and it is as good as new! Amazing workmanship and customer service! Always friendly and treat you as family!

Belding used to be good, but in the past 12 months, something seriously wrong is going on there. And I've heard Joe (the owner) be an absolute beast by yelling at employees and throwing things (he didn't know I was there), and when there is an issue, he is really smarmy and condescending. Here is thing at this point, maybe 3 years ago, he could back up his rotten attitude that he say he is the best dry cleaner around, but his product is no longer that great, and he isn't the best game around anymore.

Cannot say enough good things about this business. I was in a crunch with a homecoming dress which another dry cleaner had ruined (straightened out over 100 small pleats). Belding jumped in and hand pleated the dress, cleaned it properly and it now looks brand new. Customer service was fantastic and they kept me posted on their progress of this tedious task. You've just saved this mom from a potential disaster! I highly recommend Belding Dry Cleaners for all your dry cleaning needs. Thank you!

Now that I'm no longer in court several days a week my dry cleaning needs have dropped substantially. I still rely on Belding though for the needs I do have. They are professional, friendly, and flexible. Most importantly, however, they do fine work. Over 30 years, in many states, I've never seen a cleaner that crushes fewer shirt buttons; in fact I don't recall that they ever have crushed one.

It may not sound like a big thing, but I can't express just how much I dislike having to sew a new button on at 5:30 am when I'm trying to get out of the house for the day. They are also very good about marking the pieces I've stained if they weren't able to remove the stain.

Belden has been picking up and dropping off my dry cleaning at my home for a few years now. In all that time, I've literally never had a single negative experience with them. Every single item has been returned in perfect condition. They've never missed a pickup or delivery. On the rare occasion that I've had to drop something off for rush service, they've been more than willing to help.

I recently asked them to mend two old, rather worn, blazers. (I should probably retire both of them, but they're old favorites.) They did an outstanding job and they look great. Thanks Belden. Keep up the great work.

Ohhhh they are so clutch! I needed my companies table cloths cleaned for our annual conference like in less than 24 hours. There were 9 of them in total. They got it done! They were so nice and it was super convenient in pricing for us! They came out great! Wrinkle free! We will definitely be using Belding Cleaners In the future as well as I will be dropping off my personal clothes here as well!

Honestly, I wish I had a picture of how this coat looked before I dropped it off! It was practically covered in blue ink from a pen spill that somehow ended up seemingly everywhere. I was told by those who witnessed the defaced jacket that the ink would never come out. So, by the time I dropped it off, I hadn't had much hope that it would ever look the same again.

Upon returning today, I didn't even recognize it! There is no trace of ink on this jacket! I know the owner had to have worked very hard to produce this result and I'm very thankful! Also, the staff is very kind and welcoming, they made the experience that much better. I've learned that the business is supportive of students (which is always a welcomed phrase for a student to hear). This was my first experience with Belding, but i'm pretty hard on my white coats so I know I'll be back soon enough.

This cleaners is very pricy, I put 7 pieces in, 1 suit, $263.00 simple stuff. 3 blouses 1 shirt still came out with spots on it. The bad thing they have no prices listed. When they take your clothes they don't write the price on the tickets. They are very deceptive. What would've cost me $60 they charge 263.00. Never went back. I think that's the way they wanted it.

Not sure imagine my surprise I just couldn't believe it no special stuff for what. BE WARNED SHADY PLACE. Looks like a bunch low charter people. I just keep asking for what. She couldn't explained. Unbelievable! I'm I writing the state they need to post there prices. I should have the option to use them or not they just trick me. If I wanted my clothes I had to pay.

I've been going here for years. While it's a bit pricy, they've never failed to return and clean, undamaged garment. It's also one of the only dry cleaners in the Grosse Pointes. The family that runs the place is friendly, what more do you really need from a dry cleaner?

If you are OK paying -- literally -- triple what you might pay elsewhere, by all means, use Belding Dry Cleaners. It cost $60 to dry clean three cotton dresses. When I called the owner to ask about this rate, he began (literally) yelling at me, saying, "Listen LADY.we don't have competitors. Our customers have money and aren't afraid to pay for quality!" After hanging up on him because I refused to be yelled at, he called back to harass me.

I have never complained about a business before, but.this price and behavior was outrageous. Also, the quality of the dry cleaning was below average -- one dress in particular was very poorly pressed. I honestly believe this guy is bilking the people of Grosse Pointe and taking advantage of their trust.
