I was a regular client of Perfect Cleaners but I will not use them again. I live in a full-service condo building and whenever I had dry cleaning, I would call for a pick-up. They would pickup within one to two days and then drop off the completed dry cleaning within about 5 days after pickup. This time it took them 2 weeks (and 3 phone calls from me) to pickup.
When I had not received my dry cleaning 10 days after they picked it up I called and was told that since it had been more than 6 months since I had any dry cleaning done I had been "removed" from their system and my dry cleaning was done, waiting to be picked up. Of course it would have been nice if someone informed me of this when they finally picked up the dry cleaning. There are too many options for quality cleaners in LA to have to tolerate this level of service

Update: the issue is over charging WITHOUT INFORMING CUSTOMERS when they specifically ask. Not charging a fair price, sneaky without communication ma'am. The jackets are worth $20 each they charged me $18 to clean each jacket. These people are literally nuts. BEWARE: Took items to 3rd street location and thankfully noticed they charged me more for my entire dry cleaning bill.
I specifically asked how much it would be to dry clean 5 jackets. Prices listed are not the actual price of dry cleaning and the lady in the front does not inform you of additional fees. They charged $26 for the dress, even though the prices listed is $20. They charged me $18 per jacket even though the price is listed as $14. Overall I spent an additional $26 on my dry cleaning tab due to shady business ethics. NOT OKAY.
Lady at the front desk also argued with me instead of just taking note of my complaint for a manager. End result, I paid the bill and no one ever contacted me or tried to apologize for any confusion. This was my first ever experience using a dry cleaner, and to be honest, it didn't go great. I brought in some clothes that had gotten oil all over them from careless airline employees mistreating my baggage once it was checked under the plane. Since the clothes seemed like they needed to be taken care of by professionals, I decided to bring them by to Perfect Cleaners.
The lady at the front desk assured me that all of my clothes should be totally fine in a situation like this. She told me oil/tar tends to come out on simple cotten shirts very easily once dry cleaning solution is applied. The one article of clothing her and myself were most worried about was a wool jacket that had quite a bit of oil on it. So I came back a few days later, once my clothes had been cleaned to find out that mostly all of them came out okay, including the wool jacket, which I'm very happy about! However, an expensive shirt that I had just purchased, and quite literally had worn once, had been stained with white bleach from an attempt to get the oil out!
So instead of cleaning it, they permintly damaged it. I asked what we could do about it, and the best I got was a $6 store credit. this shirt was over $100. If the wool jacket had been ruined it wouldn't have bothered me, because we had talked about it prior to getting the clothes cleaned, but since the shirt was supposed to be fine, I didn't appreciate the way this was handled.
At this point I felt a little uneasy about the service and was fairly certain that I deserved more in return considering they didn't take care of the shirt as intended at all. Finally I got home and took a good look at all of my stuff that I had brought them, only to find out that a sweatshirt that I gave to them shrunk considerably in the sleeves!
So at the end of the day, two items I brought them got ruined and all I got was a $6 store credit! I'm very disappointed considering both the oil spill, and the bleach stain/sweatshirt shrinkage were not my fault, but yet I'm the one paying the price for all of this!

Brought in 1 blanket and 1 sweater. The blanket had a milk-dud spot of which I pointed out the second I walked in, guy brought it back to confirm said yes they clean take care, Great. Not so great when I picked up the 2 items the blanket still had the spot I went back to address the spot still on there. When I picked up again I received a notice that they are unable to remove the spot yeah because you permanently stained it into the fabric from the 1st process. Thank you for ruining a blanket that has been with me for 17yrs and holds sentimental meaning. Very Disappointed!

First time here. I'm new to the neighborhood and perfect cleaners was recommended. I was very happy with their customer service. The prices are reasonable for the high quality of cleaning. My husbands shirts came out perfectly. Light starch was light and ironed beautifully and the dry cleaning was great. There was no chemical smells. I'm so happy to have found Perfect Cleaners.

Best dry cleaning and alteration in town. I have been a customer for over a decade and not a single garment damaged or lost. To top it off, their tailors are top notch, from minor fixes to major size alterations the quality of work is second to none, not just compared other dry cleaners but also to the best tailors I worked with. Perfect cleaners is amazing! I have been taking my clothes to perfect cleaners for 4 years and they always do an amazing job. Their staff is so nice and their turn around time is super fast. I tried using a lot of other cleaners in west la and they'd either be slow, too expensive, or leave stains and smells on your clothes. Perfect cleaners really gives a 5 star experience and I'm a customer for life!

Third time's the charm! I stopped by this place because it was close to work and they have a parking lot. I was skeptical due to their mixed reviews but I felt like my sweater was a lost cause so I thought I'd take a chance. The damage? (See photo) I had worn my favorite white cardigan under a black cloth trench coat for a few hours. When I got home and took off my jacket, the color from the trench coat had bled into my cardigan.
Instead of being a creamy white, it was now a grayish purple all over with the heaviest stained areas under my arms and down my sides. I came on a day that the main cleaner had gone home early and the manager told my they'd use a dye remover to try to clean it but that I had a good chance of getting it back to normal because the color was white/not patterned.
I dropped the cardigan off and was told to come back and get it in two days at the end of the day. A few days later, it was nice that I got a text saying my cardigan was ready ahead of time. I arrived and it still had a tint to it when they took it out of the green protective wrap. They said the lighting was dim in the back but out in the sunlight, they could see my concerns and they'd give it another clean and I could come back in a few days.
I returned for the second time and it didn't look any better. I asked them to bleach it and they explained that they couldn't bleach it without ruining the integrity of the garment but they'd give it one more try. I came back the third time to pick up my garment and success! The cardigan wasn't in the condition I bought it but it was white enough to keep wearing. They also gave me new customer coupons! Not once did they give me any issues about re-cleaning the garment and I didn't have to wait when I came to pick up my cardigan.

I am so disappointed with this company. Initially, I thought it was dream come true to find a business that was consistent, and courteous, and took responsibility for their business, you know an accountable business and organized. After all, we trust our precious items to them. We trust our beautiful gowns and skirts and dresses and funky tops. But, I'm not sure if they got a new person in, someone who liked my style, or what happened, but things started getting lost. Disappearing into thin air.
First one item, then other items. Not cool and not bueno. I can't upload photos because items are in someone else's house, certainly not mine. Sad day indeed! Peace out.

They have regularly misplaced our clothing and delivered other people's items to us. This should be a seamless service that has turned into a headache trying to keep track of missing items and incorrect or missed deliveries. We went with them as we wanted an environmentally friendly cleaner, it's a shame that their operations are so flawed.

I live around the corner and was excited to try a new cleaners. I read the review where it said they had an emergency and were able to dry clean in a day. I was in a similar crunch but had three days. I took the cleaning in by 10AM Sunday and asked if I could get it by 4 pm Tuesday and the lady was so rude. Wouldn't even consider helping me. I explained it would be so helpful to have a neighborhood cleaners who I could use on a regular basis, and could she PLEASE help me this one time, as I had a flight for Tuesday night.
She said she would have it after 6, but unfortunately that was too late as my plane was leaving. For 2 hours she couldn't help me. I asked if she was the manager and she told me Jose was the manager and he was too busy to talk to me. They would have had all day Sunday, Monday & Tuesday to help but refused! Not the kind of customer care I would EVER allow if it were my business! I prefer to use HELPFUL service businesses.

I am so last minute. my flight was on Thursday afternoon and the light bulb hits me OMG, I need to dry clean my dress. I yelped cleaners near by that I am able to drop off my dress before 8AM. I called Perfect Cleaners they were open, I dropped off my dress at 7:15AM Wednesday and the gentleman told it would be ready that day after 6PM. I ended up picking up the next day at 7:15AM. Perfect Cleaners saved my a#%* big time.

The only reason I went to them is because they are close to me but my first time is also my last visit. They are Unable to do laundry correctly let alone dry cleaning! I gave them 10 pieces to clean, after 5 days - got one back uncleaned and untouched - two pieces had to be redone - he did not charge me for another piece cause it wasn't cleaned at all!
I have never gone to such a bad cleaner and NO apology at all! the man that helped me was polite but had no clue what customer service means. There are so many better options in Westwood - avoid far from perfect - perfect cleaner!

The reason I chose to send my clothes to Perfect Cleaners for dry cleaning is because it's literally 5 min away from where I live. Also, their pickup and drop-off service saves me so much trouble. However, the last time I sent my clothes there, they ruined one of my favorite Theory tops that had real leather accents - the leather turned from white to yellow and it felt hard like cardboard! Also, my Burberry coat returned crumpled - as if they washed it with water instead of dry cleaning it. Not to mention, some of my clothes returned with stains still on them. I'm never returning.
