I used Longman's for their chimney sweep and inspection service. The woman on the phone was very responsive and professional and got me the soonest appointment they had available, which was about a week out. The gentleman that performed the sweep and inspection showed up a few minutes early and was very nice, quick, and efficient. It took him under an hour to have everything done.

Some reviews on here complained and docked stars because there was a bit of debris left behind. There was a bit of ash in the hallway after he left (honestly it should be expected right?) and I just vacuumed it up and it was 100% not a big deal. I'll be using Longman's again next time we need a sweep!

When I first called to schedule, I was already impressed. Meredith was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The crew that cleaned my HVAC system were amazing (I wish I remembered their names). I can already tell a difference in the air quality of my home. I would highly recommend Longman's to anyone.

Just had our system and ducts cleaned from Mr. Longman's team. They showed up on time, Hunter one of the service men went through the entire procedure, provided details and answered all my questions. Both men on the crew were friendly and knowledgeable and got the work done perfectly. My wife and I both noticed a difference in the air quality throughout the home and reduced noise with our system. We plan to use this service regularly and would recommend to friends and family. Thank you guys

I contacted Longman's for a chimney and firebox inspection and was pleased when I was advised that the inspection was premature at this point and might not be needed at all depending on the results of a general home inspection.

I was convinced after speaking with Mr. Longman that this company would do the best job cleaning our ducts. We had a severe problem that was causing my family allergic reactions due to fungi in our ducts / coming out into our living areas. My son was having to take benadryl to sleep at night. Mr Longman told me the job would take two days and scheduled us for about two weeks out.

When the date came, I took the first day off and no one showed up. I called the company and was told there was a scheduling issue and that the crew would be at our home the next morning at 7:30 am. My husband took the day off of work the second day and still no one showed up. At this point we used two days of vacation time from work and over an additional two weeks living with the fungi in our ducts.

I called again and was told that Mr. Longman hadn't checked the schedule when he gave me our dates. The best Longman's could offer was to re-schedule us over three weeks later for duct cleaning. They obviously have plenty of customers, since they couldn't schedule my service, but my experience was abysmal. It isn't rocket science to call a customer if you can't show up for scheduled service (or even to explain there was a scheduling issue), but to promise to come the next day and still not show up is insulting.

Both my husband and I wasted vacation days for nothing. We had to schedule service with another company who actually showed up when they promised. Very disappointed with Longman's.

Welllllll. The crew of Hunter and his side kick ( can't remember his name? ) were pretty awesome fellas and VERY Professional. I pray their service makes a BIG differnc in my debilitating respiratory problems.

They cleaned our ducts last week. Not only are our ducts clean, the air blows quieter as well.

Called a couple times with questions and answers were given patiently. Crew arrived on time today. Worked hard, very polite, cleaned up reasonably. Amazed at the dirt taken out of the ducts, etc! Would highly recommend. Thanks Bill, Ryan, Shannon, and Ricky.

We had a stopped up dryer vent- dryer stopped heating. The guys that came out were wonderful! They worked to remove lint from the vent line.even found wet lint only to find out it was NOT vented to the outside but stopped short of going out the exterior wall. Gave us the name of someone to come out and cut the hole and put on the vent cover! They were very professional. Worked hard to get the job done.even cleaned up and hooked dryer back up.
