Great service and value. Very responsive to inquiries and service scheduled promptly. Very thorough inspection and detailed proposal of work to be completed (thanks Ray!). Service crew was very professional, friendly, and arrived on time. Work was completed in a timely manner with no interruptions to our business and the area was completely cleaned and organized at the end of the job.

Critical: Professionalism One of this company's work vans just dangerously cut me off on a back road, then proceeded to drive off so fast I barely got a look at the plate. Hope to never be so desperate as to need to hire them.

We run a busy laundromat that had numerous vents needing attention. In spite of tough working conditions (tight space and very warm), Mark and LeAnne did a very thorough job. Although unexpected but much appreciated, T&D brought in a separate team to vacuum the areas surrounding the vents. Looked great when they left. Competitively priced, prompt, friendly, and professional. Will definitely use them again.

We recently purchased a condo unit and it requires yearly dryer vent cleaning. T&D was recommended by the HOA, and One of the first places I contacted. Scheduling was easy and pleasant. They had a set fee for the Dryer Vent Cleaning, which made it easier to decide. On the day of our appointment, T&D Delivered their service on timely manner and my tenants were pleased. I will definitely use T&D again.

Very disappointed in the job that was done. The technicians scratched my brand new refinished hardwood floors. All of the scratches are in high traffic, visible areas so hiding them is impossible. One spans about six floor boards and is about 10 inches long. They offered me a refund on the cleaning but now I have an even bigger problem that will take a lot of money to fix.

I have to live with damaged floors and all I got was a $500 refund. I was told the technicians carry floor mats with them but did not use them at my house. Why not? Please stay away.

100% Professional from the first phone call to the workers finishing the job. Complete service. Don't settle for a lesser company that is cheaper. We tried one time and the local company, which will remain un-named, came here with no more than a Water-Vac and a couple of brushes. When they left, they weren't sure which exhaust fan was ours outside this building!

My Wife and I had used T & D for years at our Townhouse and they were always great. We now have T & D at our Condo. Take it from someone who has gone both routes, hire known professionals to clean your Ducts. Hire T & D, not a cheaper alternative!

The technician, Chris Bloom and his associate Ronnie, came out and were courteous, respectful, and knowledgeable. They came out within a half hour of the phone call and cleared out a dryer vent that hasn't been cleaned in over a decade. Took them about 30min and they cleaned up the mess. Would highly recommend

Spoke with Jessica, who was able to answer and quickly follow up on all of my questions. Techs (John and Jake) arrived within the specified window, used shoe covers, and proceeded to clean the dryer area, only to find that that my dryer had never been connected to the vent line in the first place. They cleaned all the lint up behind the machine and proceeded to reconnect the dryer line to the vent.

They got rid of all blockages from the outside through the vent (2 birds nests) and replaced the door to prevent further nesting. They also found that the duct line was probably disconnected within the wall, because there was no air going through. Regardless, services rendered were great, and they were professional and courteous.

Joe and Ray did a great job cleaning dryer duct - they were very thorough and accommodating. I would highly recommend T&D!

I now have 3 units in my home, one of which was new and the general contractor selected T&D to install the new unit. They did OK with that part of the job. I assumed that because they were there they could look at one of my other A/C units that was not performing well. They started by servicing the wrong unit and charging me $400 to put in refrigerant.

When I pointed out they serviced the wrong unit, I got nothing from them other than they would schedule another service call (at full price) for the unit I did want serviced. The tech came out and told me there was a leak, and they would have to drain the system and do a nitrogen pressure test to find the issue. What he did not tell me is that any money I put into R410a at that point was going to be wasted, so he filled and charged me another $300 with a promise that the office would call me.

No call back after 3 weeks so I called them. They came out and set up the pressure test for 48 hours (which meant no AC during that time). Apparently they failed to schedule someone to come back out and find out the results and get the AC back on line so I had to call again after almost 4 days to get someone to come back out. I get a bill and a quote in the mail (you guessed it another $350), and the quote was for close to $900 to replace the under warranty outside coil.

When I called to question that, the scheduler/bookkeeper told me that this was based on the assumption they would have to replace a lot of the R410a I had just paid them to put in. Somewhat frustrated I asked that one of the owners call me. No call back. Fortunately a final inspection on the new AC unit they had installed allowed me to talk to one of the owners.

I was immediately told he was not the right guy, it was the other owner. I asked him to listen to my case (starting with them servicing the wrong AC unit, then filling the bad unit with R410a that was just going to go to waste without giving me the option to just skip to a pressure test to find the problem). He promised to take the information back and get back to me.

Of course, no call back. We are now almost 2 months from the pressure test and I have called several times with no call back. I did receive another bill for $300 that I can't figure out what it is for, but still no call back. I would suggest going with another company rather than have them be one of the higher priced companies I have worked with and not do a very good job.

The gentleman who serviced our dryer vent was a consummate professional. We had a very complex situation limiting our ability to get our duct unclogged. He went above and beyond to assist us; staying later than expected and still charging us the agreed upon fee. This company will be our permanent annual dryer vent cleaner going forward. Thank you.

Based on my experience, completely incompetent. T&D is the duct cleaning contractor for my condo. The first time they came, they managed to somehow CREATE an obstruction in my vent, making my dryer completely inoperable for about two weeks. When they finally came back to fix the issue (and charged to do so!), they seemly fixed their first problem but managed to pin (and damage) the venting behind my dryer, making the dryer yet again inoperable.

I ended up having to diagnose and fix the issue myself, as they would have likely taken two weeks and charged my condo again just to fix the issues they created(!) Needless to say, when I have to become an amateur repairman just to fix issues that a company creates, there's a problem. I'd never recommend this company.

They are great. The tech went way above and beyond to insure that my dryer works perfectly. This is now on my list of annual home services because I think it will save me money on my BGE bill, the dryer is so efficient. I am truly impressed with the knowledge, level of service and how nice the guys are.

This firm is superb. The tenants in my property were concerned about what they thought might be mold on an air conditioning vent register. The a/c and heating firm I regularly use recommended duct cleaning. The tenants did some research and identified T & D as a possible contractor. I coordinated with Gwen Welty to have T & D travel to my rental property for duct cleaning.

The T & D technicians reported "suspect mold". Further investigation was thus required. Since T & D cleans ducts, but does not test for mold, Gwen recommended another excellent firm to help me out, and thereafter kept track of the progress of my concern. In the end, my needs exceed what T & D would be capable of doing, but I cannot say enough about the refreshing candor and professionalism of Ms. Welty.

I was talked into nothing, and I was steered in the right direction. T & D's service charge for their visit to the premises was reasonable, and which I am very pleased to pay.

Highly recommend! Having them come back for more work. I had the d@mnedest time trying to attach my dryer vent elbow to the wall duct, Dave and Abe came out and got everything right for a good price. Super friendly and professional (office staff, too). They did the job right, taking care to make sure everything was securely attached, right size, double-checked work by running dryer, etc. Gave me some good advice on filters, too, and a brief lesson on how the duct systems and air handler returns work. Very impressed, and having them return to clean the ducts, too. Nice to see a quality local company.

This is a great small business! They came out today and cleaned my dryer ducts and the tech couldn't have been more professional and cool. He was here ahead of time, always a plus! Then he quickly finished the job and saved me money by NOT replacing something he thought didn't need to be replaced. That saved me money! They are an excellent company and will not disappoint.

T&D duct cleaning service was professional, courteous and super knowledgable. Everything from the very helpful Gwen who walked me through all of my questions during my call, the reminder call about the appointment to the gentleman who arrived to perform the service was spot on and done with excellence. COULDN'T FIND PARKING, LEFT AND DIDN'T DO THE JOB. The technician came to the apartment and looked for parking. He called to say he'd circled five times and could not find a spot. T&D management told him to leave and move on to his next appointment. This is because his truck was too high for paid parking next to the building. They did not call to ask me where they could park (there is a landing next to the building where trucks sometimes park).

I waited three weeks for this appointment. It is unprofessional to not do the job because you can't find parking. There was a simple solution to this problem and neither the technician or the management office sought it out.

Very grateful for the service we received from T&D! My husband and I called over 10 different duct cleaners in the area (to solve our problem with birds nesting in our vents), and T&D was the only company to answer the phone both professionally and kindly. The prices were one of the best, compared to the other quotes we received, and their service was quick, efficient, and on-time.

They were even prepared to even take care of caging several additional vents that we had not asked for until after they arrived. Their receptionist (Gwen) even called up personally a few days later to make sure we were satisfied with our care. Our only regret is that we did not have them cover several more vents while they were here (we were planning on personally covering the vents we could reach ourselves, but realized later that their prices for covering vents were close to doing it ourselves.we waited a bit too long, and now those vents have birds starting their nests!)

Brandon and I believe it was Andrew just came to clean my air ducts. I moved in my house in July and wasn't sure if the people before me had ever gotten the air ducts cleaned before or not. Brandon took pictures of the air ducts and showed me that it was actually pretty clean (the owners before me must have gotten them cleaned right before they moved out), so said it was up to me if I wanted to still get them done.

I decided not to do it right now and ended up just getting the dryer vent cleaned. They showed me all the gunk that came out of the dryer vent so I'm glad they checked and cleaned that. I cannot express how happy I was that they were honest. A lot of other companies (especially the air duct companies that are scams) would've still cleaned them anyway and charged me even though they knew there wasn't much to clean. An honest company is hard to come by these days and Im so glad I called t&d. They also arrived early on in the expected time frame, were very professional and respectful of my home. Will definitely recommend to all my friends!

They are really 10 stars, Chris and Shawntay were here today and did a fab job on all our ducts and dryer too! They came highly recommended by my girlfriend in Potomac. Am so grateful to her! Update, Had them come back again today to finish security on the dryer so that it is properly vented outside.

Again they were prompt and the price exactly as quoted. Everyone needs to be sure their house is safe. Many house fires are caused by dryer vent problems. Am so glad that my girlfriend in Potomac recommend T & D Duct Cleaning. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Our 3rd floor condo unit overlooking an inner courtyard has a dryer vent that's easy for birds to enter, but hard for a human to maintain. Last year after we'd moved in, I thought the dryer was faulty. I was advised to contact T& D to clean the dryer vent. The technician, A.J. did an amazing job and removed 6 bird nests. Unfortunately, the Montgomery County fire code does not allow bird guards to be installed.

So this year, when towels dried slowly, I called T&D again. Two technicians showed up with a 40 foot ladder and promptly removed 1 nest along with all the lint that the nest & duct had collected. Dryer is now working fine and I expect to use this service again next year to keep us safe from a dryer vent fire.
