My wife vehicle was hit in the tailgate of the vehicle was smashed in it took them over 2 months to find a tailgate which I know there's plenty of tailgates around in the city it took them another month and a half or so to paint it and then keep giving me run around about the vehicle I've called over 50 times and I have the cell phone log to prove it from they did not fixed numerous issues from the tailgate that they put in like tinting the window the way it's supposed to be never was tinted I had to go somewhere else to get it tented the hatchback is not closing properly brought it to them they claim they fixed it but they fooled me on that too the side quarter panel of the bumper is bulging out I just feel that for a $4,000 job who stole from who I gave them numerous chances called them numerous times to at least tint the window in the back so the glare won't be so bad for my wife's car and they just keep jerking me around very sad that I trusted this company when I see the commercials on TV so unless they turn around their practices don't bring your car here if you ask for a return phone call they never call you back it's always one lie after another lie saying that it's going to be ready and it never was it's just a joke so if you want to save your time and aggravation do not bring your vehicle here and by the way by them screwing around with me and this vehicle they cost me over $2,000 in Rent-A-Car fees because I kept asking them for a vehicle and they said they never had one for me to use but yet they took their sweet time and I had to absorb the rental car fees so my wife can get to work

My scheduled time got changed 5 times, they tried charging me to have a rental when they were the ones behind schedule. Never got a rental from them and the repair was trash. Looking to have my insurance charge them to finish it right. Services: Body & Trim, Painting

Customer service was great. This was a difficult time for me and I was very upset and they made things very easy for me. Unfortunately my car insurance company totaled my vehicle out but service from Tender was awesome.

I took my car to Tendercar for repairs after an accident and was told it would take 2-3 weeks. Well it took 7 weeks and they never seem to have a rental or loaner. I finally got a rental at no charge days before my car was finally done. My handicap plaque was missing and everything was pulled from my glove box and left on the floor. I can't even remember how many times I was told it will be ready by the end of the week.

They are only getting 2 stars for the actual work and o stars for the service. I will not be recommending them to anyone and I will not use again. I could say a lot more but what's the point I'm just done.

All I can say is BEWARE AND read the reviews! Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! Terrible Customer Service! All they care about is the $$$ and NOT the customer. They had my car for almost 2 months for a bumper replacement. When I dropped it off initially they quoted 3 weeks. That was a joke! They NEVER follow up with the customer on ANYTHING so don't expect them to ever call you back.

I called and left several messages and NEVER received a SINGLE call back. Once I was able to reach someone I always received a different answer on the status of my car. It was lie after lie after lie! I was told my car would be ready two different times. When I called to see if it was ready for pickup it was "Oh we still don't have all the parts in".

Why on earth would you tell me it's ready then? If you truly want to get an update on your vehicle then you definitely have to give them some face time. We went up several times just to lay eyes on our car to confirm the actual progress. You simply can't go off their word. They are wayyyyyy over their heads on this. They are accepting too many jobs without having the proper staff and management to oversee everything to the end.

The place lacks organization and their lot can speak to that effect. The south side lot is FULL of unfinished cars that are pushed to the wayside once a new job comes in. I will NEVER utilize their services again! They even kept promising me a rental which I never received. To compensate they knocked a few more dollars off the deductible but honestly that did not make me feel better at all.

This has been a terrible experience and I wish that I would have taken my car some place else and just paid the full deductible which BTW is just a gimmick to get your business. Stay away and play it safe --- if you care anything about your car, your time, GO SOMEPLACE ELSE.

My car was hit while parked and we went with tender car for repairs we dropped our car off on N.76th Street but some work was done on Kinnickinnic which made our experience the worse. The two female representatives who answered the phone were terrible. They did not provide valid updates when my husband and I called. Norma became offensive several times.

They both offered to call us back with updates 3-4 times without following through. It took over a month to fix the car. Lastly the car was returned to us without the front license plate holder which was in the estimate. We regret using tender car. We sent emails to voice our concerns and to date have not heard a word! Update: This review is being updated due to the owner Responding to my husband's BBB complaint which explains why he was not available to care for the business complaints at the time in question. Thank you Jon, responses mean a lot. Please have a talk with Norma about her lack of empathy for your customers.

Horrible job! - "Stay away" Save some time and money or better repair yourself. In my case Its obsoletely a worst job. My neighbor's toddler would have painted it better! Bonus- they made some extra Scratches. They messed up all power windows, looks like they randomly connected the cables. Side mirrors are not working!

Wonderful work but my insurance company wasn't accurate with the time frame, and I stand by Tender Car because they wanted it perfect. And it surely was. Wonderful team you have. Extremely happy with everything. And I'm a professional detailer, thanks for everything. But I only do Harley Davidson bikes, not cars.

The work was quoted for 5 days ended up taking almost 2 weeks. Was just a simple non painted bumper swap and grill replacement on a truck. Went to pick it up and the bumper is was bent down, slightly pushed in and the grill only had 4 of 6 nuts holding it on to the hood. Which I might add were not even hand tight. To top it all off they didn't even include the front license plate frame that was broken from the accident.

It ended up taking almost a month to get that part because of a "shipping delay". I've got a good idea seeing as they were able to get all the other parts in 2 days there was no way a license plate frame that can be 1 day shipped from 20 different site s take a month. I was really funny when I called and asked about after almost a month I got the excuse of the shipping problem and lone and behold it arrives the next day. It was never ordered until that day. Long story short I'd never use them again for repairs on my vehicles.

From start to finish, they made sure to take care of me AND my car! The customer service was wonderful, the work done was GREAT, and the customer service was AWESOME! They detailed my car and fixed t! They took care of EVERYTHING and I was able to worry about getting my other things in order with the theft of my car! Take your car to Tender Car! I love my car. It was hit in Milwaukee by a hit and run driver. I took my car to Tender Car because a few years back they fixed another car I owned. Jamie is amazing and they always kept me up to date on the progress of my repair. I was given a loaner car and they even drove me home and picked me up as well. I highly recommend - my car is back to showroom condition. Thank you Tender Car!

The management was very helpful and the communication was great. I felt like they really cared about me and my vehicle situation. You need to have a little patience because of the high number of car thefts. But they will do their best to help get your vehicle back on the road.

The staff was very nice and professional. I was afforded a comfortable vehicle to ride as repairs were being made. However, my firearm was left under my seat and it was missing when I got my car back. Also, I never received a receipt for the repairs. Had these two things not happened I would have given 5 stars.

I never had a chance to use tender car collision. I had a fairly simple repair, and they want $125.00 just to look at the car. It would be used toward any repairs, so there's that. Then about $75.00 to tow the car there.

Rated zero I was supposed to drop my car off today which is a Saturday and they know and nobody's there so I called it took me forever to get a hold of somebody and she said she'd have them call me back nobody called I called two more times nobody answered on the third try she answered again but by that time I already had an appointment made somewhere else plus they had the estimate jacked up to almost $400 more than what my insurance company estimated the repairs at go somewhere else go to caliber they are the best

I'm going to echo others reviews and then top them. GO ELSEWHERE. They may cost you more then your deductible in the long run. I was lured in by the ads to pay my deductible and the owner sounding very honest and sincere. My Grandma always said "If it sounds too good." I had my front end, hood, windsheild, and roof crushed in. I was quoted 4 days - 2 weeks for the repair. IT TOOK 2 MONTHS! I, too, got the run around each week when I called. Luckily, I had a rental. Then, when I FINALLY got the call to come get my car, I could not believe the state it was in.

The outside "tape" lines and overspray where very easy to see from their paint job. They missed damage on a panel up front. Inside my car was a joke. The interior roof had a huge crease where they must have bent it to fix the light and exterior roof. The dash board was never replaced, nor the side pieces that were all gouged from the shattered windsheild glass.

Of which lots of shards were still visible on my floor and seats, so mediocre job "detailing" it. When I immediately went back in to ask the desk ladies why none of this was fixed in the 2 MONTHS they had it, they came out to look and gave a dumbing "Opps. I don't know how they missed all this." Then I was told to call my insurance and bring it up to them, then call back and make an appointment to bring it BACK to have all this fixed. SERIOUSLY!? I'm sorry, I can't be without my car for another 2 months with no rental!

But what can I do at this point? I feel violated. The icing on the poo cake, a few days after I got my car back, I not only noticed there is a gap where the wind is really whistling in near my roof and window, but I swore I smelt a burning smell. Upon having my husband inspect the car when he smelt it too, WE FOUND A ROLL OF TAPE WEDGED IN MY ENGINE COMPARTMENT THAT WAS STARTING TO BURN!

I HAVE A CHILD! IMAGINE IF THAT HAD ACTUALLY CAUGHT ON FIRE! So now I'm still going to have to shell out my deductible to have a good place fix this mess that Tender Car did. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER with a collision center. No wonder they advertise like they do. What a joke. I have so many more pictures, but here's a few.

They did an awesome job with my SUV. I Really did not pay a deductible. I was really Happy with what I saw. They detailed it and made me feel like I was almost driving in a new car. My Harley Davidson mats looks better than when I first got them. Highly Recommend!

I had an accident and took my car to get an estimate for damage. I put off the fix until they called me to see if I wanted them to fix it and could get it fixed right away and this is when my nightmare began. This review is for the highway 100 location. I was set to bring in my truck to get repaired and I drop it off in the morning and they give me a loaner car that is almost 20 years old and smelled like an ashtray.

I figure I can deal with it since they say repair should be done in short period of time. I waited and after 10 days I finally call and they say it should be done shortly by this time I am fed up driving a car 20 years older than my truck and decided to get a rental instead of loaner car. Still took them almost an additional week for the repair. I finally get my truck back and already upset they tell me we didn't charge for the loaner car I was like you gave me the loaner when it was on fumes and I filled it with gas so you better not have charged even though my insurance was footing the bill like it was a favor to me.

I get my truck back and they gave me it back with it dirtier than I left it and all my car seats disconnected and tossed on there sides at that point they tell me to contact the owner via email and explain my disappointment. They tell me there was a death in the family and I understood and would reach back out later but a few days go by and I find more damage the did not fix on my truck and had to reach back out because if you are a professional auto place it should have been assessed on first day it was on the rack.

So I ranted more in an email. I obviously didn't want to bring my truck back in because of how long it took the last time. This time repair was fixed in a day. I never heard back from the owner after all the false promises in the email. I cannot recommend them if you need a repair for your car or truck start elsewhere.

I took my car into Tender Car for repairs, they were great. They did a beautiful repair on my car, the car was ready early, which I was happy about. They washed and dried the car and even put polish on the tires. I would recommend them to everyone. I am very picky about my car they really passed with flying colors.

I took my car there around 2017 because it was a small business and I am all for the support of small businesses. My car's door handle would not open from the inside. I was originally quoted $180. A male representative called me back after I had already dropped the car off for service and said that he could not do the job for $180 because the estimate did not include labor.

Prior to his call I asked if the price included everything and the representative said yes. Since the car was already there and they were not going to do the work, I said yes to that amount. I thought it was just the handle but they said I needed the rods to be replaced as well. I also inquired if it would be cheaper to purchase a new door, but I was informed it wasn't.

Fast forward to 2019. My car's door handle would not open again. So I took it back believing that they would fix the problem for free or maybe for just a labor charge. They told me it would be another $300. I thought if they had already replaced the rods, why would the job cost another $300? I did not agree to that amount and chose to go with another local shop who replaced a plastic piece and charged me an amount that was significantly lower than what Tender Car estimated. Although, they did originally fix the problem, two years later the same thing happened.

Prior to them fixing my door handle I had the car for 12 years and have never had an issue with the door handle. So for it to break after 2 years was shocking. Early 2020 I saw a commercial from the owner of Tender Car, in which he stated that all of their repairs included a lifetime warranty. Well I was not informed about any lifetime warranty. I did not even bother to callback to inquire about the statement that I saw on television. Because I will no longer patronize their business.

I would not reccomend this place to anyone. They had my car for almost a month and still did not get it right upon pick up for the second time yesterday. My check engine light was not on prior to drop off when I picked the vehicle up I noticed the light was on. They came out and read the codes which it was throwing multiple codes and cleared them.

About 30 minutes from pulling off from the shop my check engine light came back on and my vehicle cut off. My car fans are constantly running after turning the engine off for at least 10 minutes. The owner is not professional I called and spoke with him about matters once and tried reaching out to him again and he did not return my call. There are.

I'm a single mom with a 2011 Toyota Sienna. The front bumper was lost in an accident (my boys and I weren't hurt), but the car was not safe to drive. Tender Car took such good care of me. The deductible help made a huge difference in my out of pocket costs and they not only did a great job with the repairs they detailed the inside. It's spotless. I have three boys and we spend a lot of time in the van. It's neat and clean and I'm so happy I could cry. Thank you!

I went to Tender Car Collision and Service yesterday for the first time for them to find where the noise was coming from underneath my car! "Every person" I spoke to was extremely polite and really listened to my explanation. I was taken under the car while on the lift and Tim showed be the issue so I had a good understanding! Thank you Tender Car for such great service and making me feel comfortable to ask any questions! I will be back for my oil changes etc.

I've been going to Tender Car for over Ten years, I started going there for detailing. Then later on a bought a vehicle from the Southside location in 2013. And as of late my girlfriend had an accident and Moses Rivera and the rest of the team did a great job w/ the repairs, Moses kept us updated even tho the process didn't take long at all. We just appreciated that he went out of his way to let us know that everything was ok. VERY PROFESSIONAL. I'll def go back.

I took my Mercedes in to have the bumper repaired through my insurance. Was told a month later that it was ready however, I was then contacted by my insurance rep, that during the repair they broke the part of the drivers side fender that connects the bumper. Was informed that this would be taken care of shortly after once they ordered the part. So, I paid my fees and took the car expecting a call back.

They never return my calls and act like it's not there issue. I have photos of original damage taken by progressive and screenshots from progressives notes saying the shop did not preform repair as agreed. Along with this the paint job on the fender is horrible and doesn't match the factory black at all and my side marker light was never fixed like it was supposed to be.

This has been the worst business experience I've ever had and the damage has grown worse due to me having to wait for results and still driving it with the damage they caused. Horrible decision on my part to do work with this company.

NEVER go to Tender Car to get your car fixed! First they kept switching the date as to when my vehicle would be fixed. I know sometimes it takes longer than they expect, but they called Friday saying it would be done Tuesday then all the sudden they needed another week and when we complained about how long things were taking they said it'll be done in 2 days. Then, they cracked my windshield while fixing my front end, and tried to say it was there from my accident, which isn't possible because there was no crack in the windshield when we took the vehicle in.

They were going to let me drive off their lot without saying shit about it until my dad pointed it out. We had to fight with them to get it replaced. Now I'm driving home and the wheel well cover they repaired is damaged! They had my car to fix the windshield yesterday and now this? These people are SO SHADY and will give you the run around. Find ANYWHERE ELSE to take your car.

My review is really on the establishment as a whole. The owner was welcoming when I stopped in to inquire, and the staff was customer focused. We were shopping for a place in the area that can help my colleague get a ding out of her car. I love a clean well organized professional shop and this one was just that. Jon the owner knows his business and strives to make each person get what they came in for. I highly recommend them.

Jon and his crew at Tender Car did an amazing job on my truck. I have had work done at other shops in the past and Tender Car was the best experience so far. I originally went there for bodywork after a minor collision. It was done quickly and professionally. In fact, I got my car back a day earlier than expected. I've also had car repairs there and they have always had the lower quote and they don't randomly find things wrong with my car. They also had detailed my car and the ratchet smell (too long a story to tell) that filled my car prior to the detailing is no longer present.

I have no complaints. They perform a wide range of services so I have no need to go elsewhere. I'm updating this review because once again Tender Car is awesome. I got into yet another collision and my car was totaled. I showed up lost and defeated but walked out with another car that fit all my specifications and was even better than the one I lost for half the price of my insurance pay out.

So not only do they fix cars but they sell them as well. I've had zero problems beyond maintenance and I like Tender Car so much that my sister and I even bought a car for my nephew which is also in excellent shape for a good price and with tinted windows. They've opened an additional location in North Milwaukee on 76th street which is even more convenient for me. Now, wherever I am in the Milwaukee area, I know Tender Car has me covered.

I am often a critic of how automotive shops run. Tender Car is AWESOME! They fixed my destroyed Ford Escape and even fixed a dent that I made for FREE. Plus they saved me $500 which is a lot of money. I don't know how they do all of it. I was in an accident a couple years ago and the body shop charged me the $500 deductible and were horrible! Tender Car is professional and easy to deal with. They always pick up the phone and are willing to help. Great job all around. The damage was so bad I can't believe they know how to fix this stuff.

UPDATE: several months after this post the over did contact me. As a small business owner I decided to give them a chance again to fix the mistakes earlier. He did refund my stem. Since then I have given them 4 chances. I've been very pleased. Communication has been better, service has been satisfactory. They are still slower (I'd count on an extra day when booking), but it could also just be because I have multiple vehicles.

Both of my cars went in for significant repairs back to back which I paid out of pocket for. They did a decent job on my civic since it had body damaged, surprisingly even detailed it (and that was a job because it is used for my work with animals). Ironically the TPMS light went on the day after I got it back, I brought it back in since they had just replaced it and they claimed it was a different stem.

When I brought it to my regular guy, it was the stem that they replaced (this job was approximately $2800). I stupidly had just switched out my Landrover the day I picked up the civic for TPMS stems as well. I pre-paid and paid heavily for specific Landrover stems. I identified the ones that were the issues. I got my car back and found out, even though I specified and paid for specific stems, they installed the wrong ones.

After back and forth, they agreed to put Landrover stems in. They said it still didn't work and it was probably a computer that needed to be replaced (this bill was also over $1k). I brought the Landrover to the dealer - The problem stems WERE NEVER CHANGED OUT. In fact, one of them was still the generic I had to put in when the stem failed. SO NONE OF THE STEMS WERE DONE BUT THEY CHARGED ME FOR THEM.

I have 4 vehicles that I pay for repairs on and I live pretty close, I was hoping this was going to be a great connection and I paid CASH for the above jobs. Will NEVER use again.

I read the other yelp reviews which should have been a clear warning, but I decided to give them a chance in detailing my new car. Unfortunately I was greatly disappointed in the service I received and left with more questions. The good: They were prompt in answering the phone and very polite and courtesy when I was booking my appointment. It was explained to me to drop the vehicle off at 8:00am, and it would be done around 4:00pm.

I was greeted with friendly smile, and treated with courtesy. They did a good job on removing the salt stains from the carpet in the vehicle. The bad: I own one short hair dog and upon getting my car back there was still a significant amount of dog hair in the car. As others had issues with, there was wax residue left on the car. This was not small amount of wax residue but large very noticeable wax residue all over the car.

I was notified that my vehicle was ready 15 minutes prior to them closing, but the offer to stay after closing so I could pick them up. The greater alarming concern is where did they take my car? When I drop my vehicle off, I left it with a quarter tank of gas and record the mileage. Upon getting my car back that tank was on empty (barely made to the gas station) and an additional 80 miles on my vehicle.

I don't recommend them for car detailing and will not be taking my vehicle back to them. Highly recommend you do the same. I don't recommend them for getting your car detail considering

I recently brought in my car for an interior detailing, and left disappointed. While the customer service was great in booking my appointment, the end product was lacking. There were crumbs on both front seats, grease and crumbs on the center console, and a pack of cigarettes left in the back seat by the technician working on the car. The main reason for bringing in my car was to address two stains.

They were unable to get one of the stains out (understandable), but didn't mention anything to me until I came back in to speak to them about it after discovering that the stain was still there. Overall, I was really disappointed by the experience. I had another appointment scheduled to have our other car detailed, and will be cancelling to go elsewhere.
