Classic Drycleaners and Laundromats was started in 1970 by Paul and Joanne Kostick and is now owned by Paula Kostick. Prior to 1970, Paula's father served in the Army and later became a salesman. In his travels, he noticed a common thread among both dry cleaners and laundromats - they were dark, dirty, uninviting, and lacking in customer service.
Classic Drycleaners and Laundromats serves the Greater Harrisburg area with free pickup and delivery, eight drycleaning locations and five laundromats. We take great pride in being known as Harrisburg's preferred garment care specialist. We love our customers, our employees, and our community! Being an environmentally friendly dry cleaner, or the best green dry cleaner, is so much more involved than simply stating what dry cleaning solvent a dry cleaner may or may not use. I just wanted to say how impressed I am with your company. Your customer service has been outstanding. Your employees are so kind and truly do go above and beyond, showing they do care about their customers. In a time when the service industry is hurting I felt compelled to commend you on keeping your employees happy and running a wonderful business.
The thing that put me over was the sweet holiday card and candy that was left on our doorknob this morning. You didn't need to do that, but you did, as a nice gesture. When I opened the card and saw you had made a substantial donation to DVSCP, my heart was overwhelmed. I'm on the board of DVSCP and it is an organization dear to me. Thank you for being such a wonderful business.

I'm a licensed massage therapist and have decided to save some time for myself and getting my linens washed for my business for a couple months now. I've been so happy with the quality and professionalism of the staff at Classic. I especially love Bonnie. She's been so helpful and helped so much to have my linens back when expected or sooner.

This is the cleanest laundromat I've ever been in. It seems because the owners and staff care about the machines, the customers do as well because I seldom observe people overloading them or washing muddy greasy items without wiping them out when they're done. My only complaint is that not all of the staff are friendly and customer-focused, and those encounters are disappointing.

My daughter was locked out of this place at 940 and could not retrieve her clothes. ( The laundromat closes at 10 pm). What p@@@ed me off was how the manager handled it after I called the next morning. She didn't offer a refund nor did she even retrieve the clothes from the dryer just for being inconvenienced. Maybe a nice fold would have been nice.

Horrible experience at this location. I was told very specifically I would not be charged extra for my shirts for washing by two separate associates, seeing they are a size small. When I went back to pIck the order the charge was on there and they had notated on my account that I had been informed that I would be charged extra, so basically they lied to me.
This was an issue with them a few years back and I was overcharged and the reason given was the same-they couldn't iron size small shirts. This time, I went back to specifically check if they since have got the right equipment and was given the confirmation by two different associates that the issue was not existent anymore. The associate today was rude, did not bother to remove her headphones and was loud and chewed gum throughout.
What a terrible experience. I will ensure these people get no business from anyone I know in the area. What a shamefully run place! Additionally, the associate hung up on me when I called them up today at 12:45 pm. They were super loud and very rude. Wow, this is just a very badly run place. I will be posting this review all over social media so everyone is well aware.

Horrible service. I've been using Classic Drycleaners regularly for about 1 year now with no problems. After the caused a tear in a pair of dress paints it was a nightmare dealing with them. They basically ignored me until I had to call multiple times to try to get someone to tell me if they were going to reimburse me for the damage that they caused. Of course, they said that they will not reimburse me. They take no responsibility for their actions.

Classic dry cleaner is a local chain - here is their website http://www.classicdrycleaner.com/ I have found the staff at this location to be very courteous, taking the time to explain their hours, pricing, etc., when I explained to them that I was a new customer. So far, the product has been good as well and our orders have been completed on time. This is a great option for people living in midtown!
