I had a leak in my supply line to my kitchen sink. The leak was under the island cabinets so was not "visible" until it had leeched through the garage wall, creating a damp area. My plumber came out, opened the wall and saw water, but did not see a source for the leak. At the recommendation of my insurance agent, I called FloodX. They came out within an hour and did moisture tests, quickly locating the leak.

They ripped out the damaged island, set up blowers to dry the area and cleared all damage. They sent repair estimates to my insurance company and followed through with all questions regarding the damages. Their work was so efficient, I decided to have them do additional remodeling work in my kitchen. Their work, timeliness and communication was top notch. I am very pleased with the resulting work and recommend highly.

Jennifer's team was incredible. We called at 9:30pm on a Friday for a flood that involved an upstairs washing machine leak that caused the kitchen below to flood. Her team was on the scene an hour and 20 mts later. They worked to get the area dried and repaired including flooring, painting and sheet rock within 5 days! She handled the paperwork directly with the insurance company. What a blessing and world class responsiveness!

Working with Jennifer and her team Flood X was the best decision I made. Not only did they treat my hardwood floors that was damaged due to a water flood but replaced the wood and restained the floors making my house look brand new increasing the value of my home. Flood x is by far the best at flooring and restaning and handling mold and mildew. Jennifer and her team really cared about all my concerns and became friends. We had some mold damage in our breakroom kitchen and upon doing a google search, Flood-X answered promptly and was able to come out right away. The guy who came out was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and talked me through each step of the process. He was onsite to ensure everything was being done as promised. Being this is a workplace, he did not disrupt the office in anyway.

The work was done neatly and quickly. We had some issues with insurance and Jennifer was a gem to work with. She communicated with insurance as needed and was very patient for months until we were finally able to get her paid. She was super understanding and I would recommend her and her team for any work they are capable of doing.

Sought out a second opinion after vent cleaning by another company due to mold present in HVAC and thankfully found FloodX. Jennifer is knowledgeable, honest, helpful and professional. You have to use FloodX.! Jennifer was a just amazing! She had her team out so fast to dry everything so we didn't have to worry about mold and just as she promised I didn't have to worry about anything. Contacted FloodX and spoke with Jennifer who was super friendly, and immediately attentive to my situation. We had technicians out the next day to assess the damage and provide a quote. We had water damage to a room in our home. We contacted several companies, most of which used scare tactics to make us think we had a huge water and mold problem that required thousands of dollars to fix (in addition to restoration charges). I'm so glad I found this company. First of all, they were super responsive--calling within minutes of me submitting a form online, even though it was the day after Fourth of July.

The GM then came out to our house that same afternoon. Like other companies I met with, we discussed the possibility of mold--but unlike the others, he reassured me that it was unlikely I had a big mold problem and instead that any mold was likely only in the baseboard since that is where the water would have stayed the longest. He provided a very reasonable estimate for the predicted minor mold remediation and removing the water damaged material.

We ultimately hired this company and, exactly as predicted, the only mold located was a small spot on the baseboard--which could be easily remedied and did not require the extreme (and expensive) remediation proposed by other companies. So grateful for an honest company which made this situation less stressful!

Let me start by saying that we didn't choose to use Flood X. The insurance company forced my fiancee to use them because their quote was cheaper than Servpro. I think the saying goes, "you get what you pay for!" Wow! Did she ever. First, the work was subpar and not as advertised. This was pointed out to us by our contractor that was remodeling the bathroom.

After arguing with Jennifer, until we were blue in the face, they finally decided to correct their mistakes to meet code. In the meantime, our insurance company sent the insurance check to the mortgage company to sign off on. Well, after 4 weeks and jumping through 50 hoops, we finally received our insurance payment. However, during that period, my fiancee was continually harassed by Jennifer and members of her staff about payment.

We constantly kept them updated and told them that we would deliver payment as soon as it came in the mail. That wasn't good enough, instead they chose to harass a single mother with 2 kids on a daily basis with constant phone calls, text messages and threats to place liens on her home. The work was properly completed on June 7th, payment was hand delivered to them on June 17th.

So not even 30 days, just 10 days but they thought it was necessary to harass us day in and day out! I am warning you, do not use this company. Cheaper is not always better, stick with Servpro! In response to your comments below, Jennifer, yes it was my fiancee's house. She asked me to step in to handle this situation due to your continued harassment and threats you made of her. Second, I'm a nurse and work 12 hour shifts, I can't call you back every time you call to harass us. I'm busy taking care of sick patients in the ICU. Third, we didn't google anything, your poor workmanship was only brought to my attention by my contractor.

The only thing we looked up was your own website that advertised the quality of work we should expect from you but we failed to receive. Finally, your response to my review, the name calling and the fact that you would harass a single mom exemplifies the kind of person you are.

Hi Michael, Jennifer sent you a message: Subject: Your Review Jennifer R.Owner After careful research and phone conversation. My rebuild guy stated that you wanted him to do a shortcut job with with floors and he felt that it was unsafe and that his work would not be up to par or above his standards if he was to cut corners. Therefore the job was not accepted and you stated to him that for financial reasons you did not go to have the floor down properly.

I do apologize for the misunderstanding and for how the issues was resolved but I feel that a 2 stars rating for my service is inaccurate. Would it be possible for you to reconsider your rating for Floodx? So this is the email this company sent me, a complete blatant lie which contradicts the response they left in Yelp. I had to vigorously search to find someone to repair my home and when they did come out I agreed to have everything repaired. Choose any company other than this one as they are untruthful.

Flood X was great! They arrived on time and did the job quickly. It was a smaller job than they were expecting I think so they didn't charge me what they originally quoted. They took the time to explain everything to me. If I ever have mold issues in the future I'll be calling them again.

We had a dishwasher leak into our basement during Tropical Storm Irma, and couldn't get a plumber out that day. So, when we finally did, we had wet hardwood floors and a wet basement ceiling. The plumber recommended a company who quoted us $3400 and that was with the basic equipment and made it clear it would probably be more. Then, I called Flood-X. Andrew came out immediately and assured us that it could be dried out without cutting into the drywall.

He wasn't going to guarantee the floors but his goal was to dry everything out and get it back to its original condition. He quoted us more than $2000 less than the first company and was able to set up right then. He charged us minimum service fees and used the least amount of equipment that he knew would do the job. 3 days later, everything was dried out! And the floors were better than I could have imagined! Flood-X saved us money and time! Thank you!

We recently found out that our upstairs toilet had developed a slow leak. The leak eventually made itself known when it started coming through the finished drywall ceiling of our garage. Unfortunately, by that time it had saturated the subfloor around the toilet. The plumber that fixed the leak recommended another company that immediately went for the big insurance payout. So, I said no thank you and checked reviews on several companies before settling on Flood-X. Jason got us set up immediately and we had someone at the house the next day.

For thousands less, and no insurance claim, Flood-X was able to dry our subfloor completely. They even gave us the equipment for 3 extra days after the initial 3 days of drying had only yielded a 10% decrease in moisture. After the 3 additional days, everything registered bone dry (thank goodness, because then we would have needed to file a claim). Awesome group of guys and very professional. Thank you!

I'm renting a home to friends who've been out of the country for 2 months. I went to check on the home and was shocked to discover a huge mold problem! They had turned off the dehumidifier and air conditioning and the mold was on almost all of the surfaces. I had no idea this could even happen. I was referred to Flood-x by another company and talked to Jason.

Of the few companies I talked to over the phone, Jason seemed to be the most knowledgeable and didn't try to sell me extra services like sample testings for mold since I could already see that it was everywhere. He came to do a visual inspection and didn't find any leaks. I was worried that the mold was in the walls but he thought it was just surface level. Unfortunately, due to the extent of the mold, the whole house and contents needed to be cleaned.

For all the work that would need to be done, he gave me a really reasonable price. He's a very helpful and trustworthy guy. I hope to never have a mold problem like this again, but I will definitely refer him to any friends that ever have this problem.

I was impressed beyond belief! I asked Ridgeway Mechanical (a plumbing company I used and loved) for a referral after my plumbing repair was completed. I had one quote for $942 for restoration and thought it was high, so I wanted a second quote. FloodX came out within one hour. He did not see anything he felt he could charge me for, so he sprayed some commercial disinfectant, left some behind, and told him how I could quickly and easily clean it myself. Wonderful company, great integrity, and they saved me the $942 another company wanted to charge me. Fantastic!
