Elite Pressure Cleaning

We hired this company to clean and stain our deck. A technician came to clean our 700 square foot deck and front porch and sidewalk, he was gone in 40 minutes! Deck was not clean, sidewalk still had moss growing on it! We sent pics to the company and were told that he saved water by working so quickly. The initial email said cleaning the deck alone would take 1-3 hours and that they would move one table and 4 chairs, they removed NOTHING! We were then sent an invoice for $500, unbelievable! I wish I would've read the terrible reviews before contacting them! One star is way too much for the job they did!

Not reliable - don't honor their time commitments- they out source their work to unreliable people- been waiting 5 weeks for the next coat of stain- they claim they have done the work the prior day and forget who they are taking too - one the guys drove into my neighbors basketball net and when we reported it to the company we got zero response - they stained over twigs - did not even clean off deck of small tree debris before staining - it's already peeling - as I sit here waiting for them to show since yesterday they have said 5 times they are coming and still I wait!

I made the mistake last summer 2021 of hiring WASH MY DECK! The estimate was thorough but very expensive. I was asked to submit a 60% deposit and told I would be contacted in 3-5 weeks for the process of cleaning to be started. The next week I get a call at work from someone who is at my house to pressure wash the deck? OK. The following week someone shows up to stain the deck but informs me that my deck is dirty and needs to be cleaned.

I told him that is was cleaned within the last 8 days by his group! He says well they really don't have a stain that is anywhere near the color I have and there is too much pollen anyway so why don't I just leave it the way it is?! He told me to call the office in the morning and cancel the rest. Joanne in the office was Not happy and it took over 6 weeks to get a refund by mail even though I had paid by credit card! This summer I have gotten 3 requests for my business! Not a chance! Horrible experience!

Had a great experience with them this summer. They came to my house replaced old rotten boards and stained my deck. I love it and they were great to work with, especially JoAnn in the office. I would definitely recommend to all my friends and family!

Critical: Quality, Value This is unacceptable, especially for the value. Do not contract them/nor do business with them, RUN AWAY! The pictures speak for themselves and they couldn't even put the furniture back.

I wish there was an option for NO stars. Hired them to wash and re-stain my deck. This unprofessional company didn't care that the tech sprayed the mulch, pavers, plants, and planters. When I took pictures to complain, no one from the management team ever called or even replied to an email. I contacted them no fewer than a dozen times and they only wanted their money.

The seasonal tech (whom their website claims to NOT hire) dumped out remaining stain into my mulch bed and in my grass and then placed a Frisbee and a planter on top of the puddles in an attempt to conceal it! Complete garbage! Submitted a complaint to BBB. What comes around goes around.

The original tech dumped out stain in my mulch bed and then tried to hide the puddles with a Frisbee and a planter that were sitting close by in the yard. Absolute losers. What an atrocious company. Their website says "100% satisfaction guaranteed", but that's a complete LIE. They hired a "seasonal" worker to perform a deck wash and stain and the guy covered the surrounding area with stain.

When I called to complain the customer service rep was rude and condescending, but was snarky enough to imply he didn't give a care. All they wanted was their money. I took dozens of pics and asked over 10 times to speak to a manager. No one ever called me back. There was one worker (Alex) who came out and tried to make things right but there was nothing he could do.

Was the worst customer service experience I have ever had with a company. One star is an injustice to the star rating system - would have done a negative star if it was possible. Several emails unanswered, voice mails not responded to. For something that should have been 3 weeks turned into 3 months.

I've used Wash My Deck for our deck and house for years. They always do a great job and a great price! Service: Power/pressure washing

Did a good job with the initial pressure wash. We also hired them to paint and do some repairs. It took months and numerous phone calls after the pressure wash before they came out to do the painting / repairs. The painting also went well, but in the process of completing the repairs, they damaged a couple of boards and didn't get the railing secured.

We notified them immediately that we were not satisfied, but they went ahead and charged the final payment. After many calls they never came out to repair the damage or provide us any kind-of refund for the damage they caused.

This group is not reliable. i confirmed a job with them. they didn't show and claimed we never confirmed. I sent my copy of confirmation and they replied, have a nice year - no more jobs scheduled. Service: Power/pressure washing

Terrible response terrible scheduling terrible job All I wanted was sanding. A month and a half later it finally happened. Schedule was delayed because it was "too hot"? Then nobody showed up. And it was hard to get a call back When they finally showed up the sanded my deck in less than 20 minutes! Wow! And the job showed what 20 minutes was worth.

Absolutely terrible. The didn't even sand under the built in bench. The steps looked like they were not touched at all. As far as the previous stain, there were bits of it sticking up. nothing was sanded smooth. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before.

They never showed up and when their technician does arrive to check out the job: He says it would be a waste of my time and his since I requested that the patio door not be washed. This company also failed to arrive twice at the appointment date and time - unreliable.

For starters, they should honor their warranty. I had my deck pressured washed then stained and sealed in October 2019. In April 2020, my deck was already peeling. 3yr warranty. They want me to pay them again ($156) to re-purchase the product they: a- applied incorrectly b- used inferior cheap product or c- all of the above. I have called numerous of times to get upper management to call me back. Elizabeth refuses to provide me a number to talk to anyone but her. spent over $1k and is pissed.

I shouldn't have to pay for anything warranted for 3 years and its peeling after 5 months. GARBAGE! I don't recommend them if they cant eat $156 for their faulty work. before this, I had plan on using again and recommending to my neighbors.

Disappointing - Been trying calling and waiting for three days to make deposit and get sand/stain scheduled - and finally made contact earlier this week but told "no definitive schedule date & time for 3+ weeks out and we'll be updated with weekly emails to advise to 2 days out"? The whole process shared with us from start to finish was to take 2/3 weeks weather permitting - this pushes us out past 5+ weeks and their "open scheduling" didn't work when we had to keep chasing date / time for power washing schedule which didn't happen on date promised - and also did not happen a second time when it was re-scheduled for next day at a time they chose (delay not weather related).

Quality of service/work was poor/sub-par as previously shared with this company via email and pictures of dirty horizontal surface of railing. We cancelled moving forward and didn't expect to pay $185 for less than acceptable power washing quality service/work for less than a 250 square foot deck. Extremely disappointing - never owned up to poor quality work or addressed delayed issue which if you read previous reviews is a common complaint about this company who does NOT live up to their guarantee = "Our Job Is Not Done Until You Are Satisfied!

Sadly cannot recommend. I used this company last year. Was dissatisfied by timelines (all summer), starts/stops on work, a lack of respectful customer service and response to questions. I always try to support local businesses and was very disappointed by my whole experience with this company. I did reach out to the company and got a less than acceptable response. Yelp would not let me post without clicking on one star. But I honestly wouldn't give the service any stars.

We have been getting our very large deck washed and stained by this terrific company for a decade. We are extremely satisfied customers, and they use very good deck staining products that last 2-3 years depending on weather and deck orientation. Their custom deck product is now Sherwin Williams SuperDeck, which is a very well rated deck stain with a nice tacky feel after drying. Further, they offer a fair price for their work as opposed to many other companies that will just try to rip you off.

Impressive customer service from my first phone call. Unlike three other companies who did not even bother to respond, Wash My Deck not only called me back within ten minutes, they gave me a same day appointment. The appraisal was accurate and the invoice estimate was extremely reasonable. I am very pleased with the service and cannot personally recommend them highly enough. In the future, I will ONLY call Wash My Deck. Job well done!

Beware of this company for staining services! I hired Wash My Deck in July of 2018 to power wash and stain my ipe deck. Soon after they came out to power wash and remove the old stain. By October of that year we still had not received the staining services we had paid for. They continued use the excuse of the weather. They sprayed a protective cover in Dec saying they would stain the deck in the spring.

In March of 2019 they again power washed my deck. Fast forward to Aug 2019, 1 year and one month after my initial deposit of $1100. My deck was never stained. We asked for our money back received a refund of $78! Be wary of this company if you need deck staining. They are not well organized and provide very little customer support. We lost our money and will have to pay to have another company do the work! Bad business practices!

Wash My Deck power washed my aluminum siding, deck, brick patio and front concrete steps and walkway. Everything was much cleaner when they finished. They did the siding correctly. (Be careful of hiring just anybody with a power washer to do siding or water will get under your siding.). Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is a little bit of concrete chipped out of my front walk (nothing really worth talking to Wash My Deck about).

WARNING: DO NOT use this company to stain and seal your deck! I am adding to the list of very negative reviews on this place. Gave them a big deposit to power wash and stain our ipe deck in July 2018. They came out and power washed in July 2018 BEFORE I put down my deposit. Then I put down a deposit And they said they would be out to sand and stain in the coming weeks.

Never showed. Calls to Joann in the office only brought excuses of bad weather and too hot. Owner was never available to talk. Someone finally came out in late November to seal the deck for the winter then came back again in March to power wash again Excuses of weather and pollen continue every week a year later! Attempting to get some of our money back since this company is a SCAM! Will Report them to the Better Business Bureau

Destroyed My Walkway and Could Have Cared Less - Contracted to clean pool deck, wood deck and walkways. Tech failed to show up, or call, for first appointment when I had arranged to be home to supervise. Office rescheduled and told me they were sending "their very best tech" and I did not need to be home. I came home after service was performed to discover every speck of stone dust from my 100 foot long front walk had been aggressively removed and blown into my lawn during cleaning.

I wanted to cry! I have had to re-apply all the stone dust and make the repair myself. Wash My Deck made no offer to repair or refund the cost of service. I hired deck washing to save time. I spent longer repairing my walk, in back-breaking stone labor, than it would have taken me to rent a power washer and do the power-washing myself. Despite written emails there was an apology, but no offers to refund or repair my walk. I ended up being out both my time and my money. Buyer beware. I would not recommend this company.

This place is unprofessional and they have nasty attitudes. We arranged for an $865 job to have our deck washed and stained. After washing the deck they requested a 66% deposit. No problem. However they next step was staining but the previous paint was not removed during the washing portion. We called and the very unhelpful person didn't know much and said someone would have to come out again and determine if we had paint or stain and if it is paint and additional change for sanding would be required.

We asked why the initial assessor not the team who did the wash was not able to realize the deck was painted as it is quite obvious. She was not able to provide a coherent answer. We paid for the washing and ended all further communications. Horrible company with horrible attitudes. Avoid. 6 May 2019.

I cannot think of a more shockingly bad customer service experience I've had. I scheduled an appt a few days ago with WashMyDeck. The scheduler said I didn't need to be home but I specifically asked that the estimator contact me before coming to make sure I was here. The deck/porch cleaning and re-staining have some complicating factors I needed to discuss.

Fast forward to today. I looked out my window this afternoon to see someone on my property and then drive away. I called WashMyDeck (answered by a rude woman who didn't even announce the company's name) and confirmed that was their guy who had completed the estimate. Right. I checked my CCTV cameras. The guy pulled up to my home and got out of the car at 3:44 pm. Walked out back, looked up at my porch at 3:45 with a clipboard in hand. Walked back to his car at 3:46 and pulled away. I kid you not. If Yelp allowed for uploading video clips, I'd post, it's so damning. What kind of buffoonish company is this!? Steer clear, people.

We hired Wash My Deck in August 2018 to powerwash our deck and then to re-stain/seal it. They sent a crew out to powerwash the deck, stripping it of its existing seal and paint, but they never came back to do the staining and sealing that we paid a deposit for. It took me more than seven months even to get a partial refund, with one broken promise and missed appointment date after another. I've filed a Better Business Bureau complaint and hope that this review warns others to stay away.

Can not stress enough to stay away from this company! Used them several years ago, then in November of 2018 I received a text message reading they were have a 50% off sale. So I replied, agreeing to the special price, Wash My Deck responded with a date, requesting me to remove any heavy objects; grill, deck table and chairs from the deck before the date, which I did but no one showed up. Did not rain that day so I thought it was odd that my deck was not cleaned, well maybe they overbooked or the worker was running late and ran out of time.no big deal.

I waited for a call, text, to reschedule or at least an explanation of why no one showed up on the scheduled day to wash my deck. NO CALL So after a week I decided to call and find out what was happening with my cleaning and they had no clue, said they would research it and get back to me. Then late December I receive a bill in the mail charging me for the wash they never did!

So I immediately call to dispute the invoice and again I get " we will research it and get back to you" Now here in June I get another bill charging me for the wash that was never completed in November, with letter stating that "If the payment is not received the debt will be turned over to an outside collections agency. And be reported to a credit bureau against my credit" I have absolutely no problem paying for something/service I have received, but I refuse to pay for a service that was not completed!

Please heed this most important warning, DO NOT CALL THEM, you will speak to the most rude and unpleasant female you have come to contact with! Believe me when I tell you not to do business with Wash My Deck!

DO NOT USE THIS SCAM COMPANY! In a nutshell, I hired them to do deck power washing, sanding, then stain. Washing part was just OK but weeks after that I caught the guys, who it seems were subcontracted out, starting to stain without sanding first which I initially paid for and was in the contract. They ended up not sanding and getting over-spray stain on the siding because they did not use plastic sheeting to protect the home, which their website said the worker are supposed to do. Had to get goof-off from home depot to remove as best I could.

I tried many times to call and email but was ignored. They only responded after a month or so but by then I told them I was not going to send them the any more money. After all I went through they had the nerve to send the balance of the breached contract to a collections agency and from there forwarded to an attorney. In the end I will handle it, and it will be ME who will be receiving money for damages, etc.

Couldn't be happier with the service provided. Service was performed promptly upon scheduling and was a great deal. My deck looks brand new - thank you very much Bruce and Wash My Deck - will be recommending to everyone!

Amazing work, adds so much value to your home. The house washing makes your home look like its brand new. The deck work is equally as amazing. The people in the office are so kind and thoughtful.

1. Steve Chapman's customer service skills lacks all elements of "customer service." The way he responded to my emails was condescending, arrogant, and a lot of finger-pointing that it's our fault we're not satisfied for something we did not order AND he demands to get paid. 2. He suggested to have their crew call before arrival. I gave him 2 phone numbers to make sure we dont miss.

Found a door hanger that service was already done. No phone call. 3. Asked for POWER WASH and apparently an order for just DECK WASHING was placed. Even though there was an email for my order and when I spoke to JoAnn, I corrected her that we want POWER WASH and not deck wash, we still got the wrong service. 4. Oh and by the way, they claim deck wash 'Removes mold, mildew and dirt.' Uhm well, there still is mold and mildew on our deck so obviously they can't do a simple deck wash either.

Reading the previous bad reviews, there seems to be a pattern here with Steve's customer service, communication and quality of work. Now we learned, when in doubt, go with a company with at least 4 - 4.5 stars.

These guys had done good work for me previously. I had 2 dates recently for a small deck wash. never showed up on first date so I rescheduled. never showed up for 2nd date either but I did get an invoice for finished work. gheez!

Wash My Deck has been maintaining our deck for several years now. Great to work with, and our deck always looks new (it was built in 1991)!

I am in the process of a job to power-wash and re-stain my deck. I requested a quote in June and it's September and the job is still not complete. We had the power washing done relatively quickly at the beginning of July, and then we were placed in a pending file for weeks. I had a question about the different types of stains that I was never able to get an answer from the receptionist, and this lead me to spend some more time in the pending file while I chose a stain color. Finally, when someone came out to do the another powerwashing since it had been done so long ago form the first one, they discovered that the stain I had chosen would not work with the current stain on the deck.

I am not sure why this issue could not have been determined when the quote was prepared. I have found that the management to be courteous and responsive (when you can reach them). We have to call and e-mail multiple times just to see where we are in their work process. It's very frustrating. I will write an update once the work is completed.
