C & W Hanover Septic & Rooter

Had C & W Hanover Septic come out to pump our septic tank. The lady whom we scheduled our appointment was very nice and easy to talk to. I even learn a couple of things while on the phone with her. The day of the appointment, the crew called a head of time to let us know they were on the way. They were very nice on the phone. My husband was impressed with how quickly they found the tank.

The hole they dug was minimal. They did not leave a mess. Within an hour they were done. Gave my husband a report that the tank looked really good. Will definitely use these guys for our future pumping sessions and any repairs we may need.

We wanted to send a special Thank You to Dave and all the folks at C&W Hanover Septic! If you have a weird, complex, unspeakable issue, this company will solve it. We had an emergency septic back up on a Saturday. That speaks for itself. We also had (unbeknownst to us) a couple of unusual, complex issues going on. Dave was a true professional and worked very, very hard in less than ideal circumstances to make sure that he was able to fix the situation. Our usual septic company referred us to C&W Hanover and we are so grateful they did. These folks are the real deal. 100% recommend.

We used C&W Hanover Septic to have our septic tank pumped as part of routine maintenance. Excellent experience. Promptly scheduled by the office staff. Driver was polite, professional, and competent (and nice to my curious kids). He also pointed out a situation that may lead to a future issue and advised us on it. Previously, they'd assisted my in-laws with a septic emergency (when their usual servicer wouldn't give them the time of day) with excellent results as well. C&W Hanover Septic is our go-to for septic service.

C&W has pumped out septic tank on several occasions and most recently performed an in-line repair on our septic system. What we thought was a failing system was diagnosed by Chris as an issue with an aging iron pipe between the distribution box and the septic tank. He discovered that there were actually two separate distribution boxes. We had no idea.

He recommended the in-line repair. This week a crew from C&W arrived at our home on time, excavated and replaced the faulty pipe and extra distribution box all in less that 2 hours. We really appreciate the efforts of the C&W team. Instead of a costly septic system replacement a simple repair did the trick. All employees of this company who I have interacted with, from the office staff and schedulers to the drivers to the construction crews to the boss are professional, courteous and nice. We believe that we are in good hands with C&W.

I have used C & W Septic many, many times. I use them for real estate septic inspections and repairs. They do a wonderful job. You can count on them! Always on time, professional, great customer service. The best!

Beware! I paid C&W Hanover Septic $23K to install an alternative system on 11/17/21. Less than five weeks later the high water alarm kept triggering. Since 12/25/21 the new system shows high water levels even though only two people live in the household and it is designed to process up to 450 gallons a day. C&W said they would no longer monitor the system on 2/23/22 even though a high water alarm went off again on 2/21/22.

Due to the problem not being resolved I had to file a complaint with BBB. This was the C&W owner's response to a system that is not working and cost $23K: Good morning everyone, well every day seems to be a new adventure with this one, haha. First I would like to thank Ms. Taylor for her business and I would like to thank everyone else for their time and help.

I have been in business long enough to know when, no matter what my company does, the customer will not be satisfied. Unfortunately, we have reached that point. At this time, I have made the decision to terminate our business relationship with Ms. Taylor. Any of our workmanship carries a one year warranty which we will honor if need be, but as far as the warranty on the components or any other service work that may need to be done, Ms. Taylor will have to find another company to take over. I wish everyone the best going forward and I hope Ms. Taylor finds the satisfaction that she is seeking. Thanks, Billy

We've used C&W several times both in our Louisa home and our Mechanicsville home. They have been great all times while charging less than everyone else. Customer service is always excellent every time (which is priceless to us.) Our first experience was especially excellent as we were coming to them upset after another company couldn't fix our septic system and continued to blame us. Turns out that prior company never reconnected some of the wiring to our alternative septic system (and C&W instantly noticed this) and reconnected us to get our septic pump working again!

We got lucky there wasn't way more damage to our overflowing septic system and thank C&W's quick same day response to our call for saving us from a flooded house. C&W big time helped us out and we've been coming back as loyal customers ever since. This is a wonderful family oriented company that we highly recommend!

We have been using using C&W Hanover Septic to perform the annual maintenance on our alterative septic system at our home. We recently had an alarm on our system and called them for service. They promptly sent someone out and found that the blower motor had expired. They sent a quotation which we quickly approved. When they received the new part they notified us and came they came and put it in. They were prompt, professional and courteous. We will continue to use them for our service and we recommend them to others.

I have used their services for years and i have never been disappointed. Twice was an emergency and they got someone out the day i called. The gentlemen that came to do the work were friendy, polite, professional, and answered my questions. As long as they are in business, i will not be calling anyone else.

Week of Thanksgiving with house guests, including toddlers, found us with water backing up in our washing machine & kitchen sink. The minute I reached this company everything got better. These folks are the best! I called after hours last night and they were at our door bright and early this morning. They had it pumped out, diagnosed and fixed all before 11:00 am. We have been loyal customers since the first time we had a problem after we built and we have never called anyone else because they are so good at what they do. We recently referred a friend to them and they were just as pleased.

Great first experience with c&w. They surprisingly scheduled my septic being pumped for the next day after I called. My technician Scott was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I can't say enough amazing things about C&W. We were selling our house, about an hour away from their office, and had hired another company that was close by to pump & inspect our septic system. The other company found several problems including tree roots in our headerlines, distribution box, and the holding tank itself. Long story short, we had an awful experience with the other company.

My husband called C&W, spoke to Susan who was polite, helpful, and was able to get us scheduled quickly for repairs. She helped us through a difficult and emotional time, and even saved us about $4,000 worth of repairs (plus several months of headache) that the other company said needed to be done but actually didn't. The technician who came out was absolutely amazing! He was on his way within an hour of me making the call that I needed my septic tank pumped after waking up to a basement bathroom that flooded in the middle of the night as a result of a clogged septic tank. He was very friendly and patient with all the questions I had about the system. I would definitely recommend C&W if you need servicing for your septic system!

These guys are pros! I called to set up a pump out & the worker called prior to arrival. He said that he wouldn't drive on our grass and instead used about 5 extension hoses to reach the furthest tank. (We have 2 on the property.) Husband was impressed with his professionalism and explanations. 1 star off for worker not being masked (one would think he'd want to for his own protection considering what he's pumping) but we were outdoors, so. If it's possible to have a positive septic cleaning experience, we just did.

I have been using these guys since I moved to Hanover in 2010. Had a float switch for the Septic go bad. I called - about 2 hours later someone came to assess the situation. Then he didn't have the part so someone would come tomorrow. Really bad storms/tornados expected tomorrow afternoon, so I expected a call/email saying they couldn't get to it as quick as they thought.

At 6:30 in the morning, saw them working on it. They woke up early to fix the problem instead of making people wait. Service of this caliber is rare it seems! I'll continue using them as long as I live in their service area!
