BEWARE OF OVERCHARGING: Had cleaning done two weeks ago was quoted $120 for two maids for two hours over the phone. Was then charged $240, called them for a week about the mistake and just received a response today that in fact the cleaning was $120 per hour and that since it took two hours it was $240. The women I spoke with over the phone said that the maids told me before cleaning the charge and hours which did not happen.
She then told me "it was convenient for me" to believe that the charge was only $120. She could not produce anything in writing proving this. So I was overcharged and then told I was a liar for disputing the fees, would not recommend. Dean E.

My clients were moving out of their LARGE home and renting it out. I needed to find a company who would do a deep clean and I wouldn't have to be pointing things out over here and over there. Sandra was the team leader of a 4 person team and she was amazing! I did not have to say anything except to please clean the inside of all drawers as they were moving and everything had been emptied.
They would not have known that or opened a homeowners dressers etc. They were a referral on Next Door and I will absolutely be using them again for all of my clients when in need. They even came in UNDER what they quoted! It's a huge, gorgeous house and many companies I called gave me astronomical prices once they looked up the address. Elite gave me an honest, fair quote and like I said came in under and was a referral from a neighbor. My clients could not have been happier! Thank you Elite!

Elite Maid Service cleaned my home yesterday for the 1st time, they did an amazing job! Their work was so thorough! I've hired other maid services that are not as detailed and thorough as they are, and felt like not much was cleaned. Elite Maid Service provided the type of cleaning service I was hoping for! Sandra and Esther were are the 2 maids that come over and they were simply a delight.

Elite was recommended by the concierge in my apartment. I was impressed with Lisa's responsiveness, and thereafter with the quality and efficiency of the cleaning staff. They are extremely efficient and detailed in their work, always complying with special requests as well as maintaining the regular upkeep in check. Over the years I have employed many housekeepers, individuals and small businesses. This is the larger cleaning service I have hired, and I've been very impressed overall with the quality of their work. Admittedly, at first I thought their rates were on the high side, and they are certainly higher than the mother-daughter teams I've had in the past. However, they run a professional business with very well-trained technicians, competitive salary and (I'm pretty sure) a benefit package, along with safe and environmentally-friendly cleaning products.
I am not inclined to do my own heavy cleaning (health issues) but I am a discerning consumer of same. If you are looking for a knowledgeable and conscientious housekeeping service I strongly suggest you call Elite Maids for a free written estimate. You will not be sorry.

I was calling a few places getting different estimates and comparing they're services and at first elite cleaners seemed like the best way to go. the ladies who cleaned my house were nice and did a good job in cleaning my apartment. However, I was told I would get a follow up call to see how I felt about my service and I wasn't. When I checked my account to see if they had charged me, they charged me $315 rather than $180 that we had originally agreed on.
I called to have this fixed and they said they would call me right back once someone looked at it. 30 min went by and no call so I called back and explained to the lady on the phone what happened. She said that because they girls took 3 hours I was charged $90 an hour. however even 3 hours charged at $90 is not $315. I told her that no one told me additional charges would be added and that the ladies did a great job so I should be happy.
Even though I am furious, I am grateful that they returned my money. I'm not complaining about the service itself. I am complaining about how they charge and handle their customers. I will not be using this service monthly like I had originally planned.

Elite Maid Service is terrific!. The cleaners arrive on time (call before arriving, quite responsible). They work hard (no goofing off). They listen to what you would like them to do. I have used the Service several times on different jobs. They are clean, neat and polite. I recommend their service.

Called Elite on the advice of a friend. Needed some post move out cleaning done. I have had issues in the past with less than stellar work being done in situations like this so I was a little stressed since we had a time frame to stay within. Elite showed up on time and got right to work. They lady in charge went through the scope of work they were there to perform and gave me estimated time frame for completion. All in all, they did a really good job. They finished on time and the place looked, and smelled, really good.

Serious issues with cost and time. Charged $105 for 3 ladies. Initial quote was $75 for 2 people. Took them 4 hours to clean 3 rooms, plus they charged for a "re-do". Owner, Rose, promised an estimate on time and cost BEFORE they started. Called owner next day and left message. Did not receive a call back. First and last time using their service. :

DO NOT USE. If you call this company you are making a GRAVE mistake. I spoke with Amber to schedule my appointment, and we confirmed, and I thought we were all set. I called two additional times to confirm, both times leaving a voice mail, as I was moving from out of state, I wanted to make sure my house was clean prior to arrival. Needless to say, they did not call back, and they did not even show up for my appointment.
I emailed them as well and not even a return email. I can only imagine how their service would have been if they even showed up to do the cleaning. Take my advice and stay away.

Loved, Loved, Loved! They literally just walked out the door. Our 1 bedroon, 1 bathroom is spotless. They were on time, very reasonable ($105 an hour for a team of 3) and did a fantastic job. The team leader Eduardo was very nice, did a walk around and estimated that it would be an hour and a half, which it was. The ladies were very thorough, dusted and cleaned everything, and were super careful.
The last place I used broke a statue I got on my honeymoon in Ireland, needless to say I was pissed! I am thrilled to find these guys and will most def call them again for my Burbank apartment.

Not impressed here whatsoever. I was excited to use a new service because I usually do Southern California Maid Service and they are not that great but really cheap. Had my apartment cleaned today from a living social coupon. My place is very small so there is not much to get to and they had a team of 3 people here. They did not take the time to make the bed or do a basic cleaning on the fridge.
They also did not fully dust all the surfaces of the apartment. I can tell that some of my things are so much in the exact same place that I left them that there was no way any cleaning was done underneath. Will not be a returning customer and am very disappointed.

After multiple calls, my roommate was finally able to get a hold of Rose, who said that the maids were extremely offended we had accused them of stealing and that they wanted to come over again to "face their accusers" and see exactly where the item had been stolen from. Naturally, we said NO, since we didn't want to let known thieves back into our house. (Again.

Truly awful. I really wish I had read the reviews before purchasing the Living Social deal. They missed an appointment and some guy named William told us there was nothing they could do even though we had confirmed the time earlier. When they finally made it, they just did some light scrubbing and dusting. I couldn't even tell the difference.
The outrageous part is one of the cleaning ladies sprayed too much solution and actually killed our oven/stove/fridge circuit. We had to get a contractor in to get that fixed and when we called Elite Maid to let them know, their response was that these things happen and asked if we'd like to sign up for weekly cleaning services. I don't know how they're still in business since they must have no returning customers.

BUYER BEWARE! Let me preface this by saying I have been pretty patient considering this saga began 4 months ago. But I'm done and I'm sharing what happened to me so you all can save yourself the time, money, and trouble. I bought a groupon from them back in December and called right away to schedule an appointment. They then directed me to their website because I had to fill out on online application for an appointment.
I figured okay. no big deal. Cut to 1 month later and still no word. I call again and they feed me the same lines about how I need to fill out the online app for an appointment--which I'd already done. So again I comply. STILL no word for another two weeks. I call them again and they say they'll call me back once they have an opening (this was late February).
No response. Finally I get a hold of them last week (end of March) and they agree to an appointment today (April 2) between 11 am and 1 pm. It is now 1:25 pm. I called them and left a voicemail at 1 pm since they never actually pick up the phone. I get a call back from someone about 10 minutes ago claiming they were going to call me to tell me the crew was going to be running super late and they could either come late or reschedule.
I told them to figure out what time they could get a crew here. But then after reading numerous yelp reviews where people say this exact same thing happened to them and someone was STOLEN from. No way am I letting them into my home. I took a day off work to be home for this. Thank you for wasting my time and my money. I have already requested a full refund from groupon and I suggest anyone else who bought this groupon do the same. This company is just plain shady.

Maybe if they ever contact me back to confirm the cleaning that I may or may not have booked, then I could give them a higher rating, or maybe if I even get to the cleaning stage.

Had a Groupon and wished I took a look on Yelp first. First person I spoke with gave me 7:30 appt. and then I find out from 2nd person, they don't even open until 8. So I had to wait until 10:30. Three people came and very friendly. I am moving so there was very little clutter and I even told them not to worry about dusting the furniture since it was going.
Well the bathroom wasn't cleaned well at all. The cabinet wasn't dusted at all and the medicine chest wasn't even cleaned. The tub, tile and glass door were barely touched. I even gave a good tip since I "assumed" the small place and not having to deal with the furnishings would give ample time for the kitchen and bathroom. Bad move on my part.

I have been using Elite Maid Services for a long time now both for my home and my 13000 square foot commercial facility, and they've always done a great job and I've never ever had a problem with theft, which I was surprised to read one from one person below. I think all these low living social reviews are due to people not knowing when they get a great deal on really good service but I''ve never used them through Living Social so I can't comment on that side.

Congratulations! Elite Maid Services LA you have just earned my first one star review! You are the only one in 73 reviews, that puts you right smack into the hall of shame. Buyer beware, steer aways from this business. As you can see from the Yelp reviews, if you get good service, you are darn lucky. I, like most, was left frustrated and having wasted time that I could have used happily eating or writing Yelp reviews.
And possibly there will be more wasted time, since I am working on getting a refund or credit from Living Social. Let me start out by saying, I purchased this cleaning in November! Lastly--Weeks later and still no email to schedule or response to my email.

Worst company ever! Brought the LivingSocial deal.took the company 3 weeks to reply to my email requesting service and when they DID finally reply, I was told I am no longer in their cleaning radius/zone and would have to request a refund from LivingSocial. I'm beyond annoyed. To top it off, LivingSocial is not willing to refund me my $$. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! 1 star is a compliment.

I must say, I was surprised to see the low reviews for this business. I wasn't actually home when they cleaned, but my boyfriend was and when I returned, the bathroom and kitchen (the places I asked them to focus on) were sparkling clean and looked brand new. They were on time, and very thorough. I don't have much to compare it to, cause this is my first time hiring professional cleaners, but I was very pleased with the job they did. It did take 3 weeks to get an appointment though, but that could have been because of the Holidays.

Extremely disappointing service. I have a small one-bedroom apartment, which I generally keep very clean on my own, so my needs from a cleaning service are minimal. Yet, Elite Maids failed to meet even that low standard. I have a few complaints, some minor, some major. In case you are considering hiring them, I list them here, so you can decide if these are the type of issues that might bother you: 1.
Basic cleaning is sloppy. Counters are regularly not washed, dust on the baseboards is not vacuumed, bed is made messily--sheets are sometimes not even tucked in and bunched up as if they did it in 30 seconds. (MAJOR) 2. I have a blanket and a comforter on my bed. I asked them, when changing the sheets, to put the cover over the bed and fold the comforter at the foot of the bed.
I even showed them how I do it. Nevertheless, they consistently put both the cover and blanket on the table next to the bed. (MINOR) 3. Similarly, I have asked them to clean the base of the blender and vacuum the crease between the seat and back of the leather furniture (chair and sofa, where dog hair gets caught). This is never done. (MAJOR) 4. They are also sloppy about putting things back where they found them. Items I leave on my desk are all piled up and left on the coffee table.
I have asked them not to do this, but. you guessed it. they ignore the request. (MAJOR) 5. They also never arrive when they are supposed to. I have asked them to come in the afternoons because I work from home in the morning. That means any time between 12 and 5. Yet, they regularly show up as early as 10am. Sadly, I have finally lost hope and started looking for a new service. If I could give them no stars I would. This was the worst interaction I have ever had with a company in my life! I recently bought a groupon and thought it would be nice to have some help cleaning my house before my family comes in for a visit. I scheduled a 1pm appointment a few days in advance. At 1:45 I gave them a call because their team had not yet come.
I proceeded to be ridiculed on the phone by one of the managers because I had not answered a call they left earlier that morning. The message they left around 10:00am said they wanted to come to my home earlier that day because someone had canceled. I didn't return the call because I don't get off work until 12pm and I thought it they would be there at 1pm anyway.
I work in the morning and have a few hours break before I go to work in the late afternoon. They said nothing in the message about calling back to confirm the time I already scheduled. I was very upset and asked why they would not show up for a 1pm appointment that was made just a few days ago. She said because I didn't pick up my phone when they called they will not keep the appointment.
I then started to cry because I have no help and a 9 month old screaming in my ear and now I have to figure out how to get this house work done before my family arrives early tomorrow morning. The manager then proceeded to tell me if I have a few hours between work why don't I clean my house myself. I am so hurt and upset by this interaction I feel sick.

May I remind these people I am pay for this service. Needless to say allowed her to bully me into calling off work to have her crew come at a time that was convenient for them. I then called groupon which refunded me right away (thanks! groupon) I then immediately called to cancel, mind you I really felt like leaving for work and just letting them show up to an empty house but I took the high road. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. I will be posting this on every review website I can as may times as I can. I have never been treated so badly!
