Great Company. Did a great job assisting me on My rug stain removal too.

I booked a rug cleaning through Yelp, it was reasonably priced and they provided door to door service. The rugs were cleaned perfectly. I grew up with oriental rugs and probably know slightly more about it than the average person off the street, and I was impressed by the quality as well as the service.

We have been coming here for years. Best place we have found to get our large rugs cleaned. They also do repairs which is great when you have a puppy that likes to chew on rugs They also have a good selection of rugs in all sizes/styles for purchase. Thanks!

One star for this place just staying in business. They ruined my new rug. Charged me extra to send it out to get a small stain out of it. Stain is way way worse now. In cleaning it they pulled out half of the wool in the stain area. They untied half of the beautiful double knotted fringe on the end with the stain. They could have reknotted it since they tore it up. Salesman assured me on the phone that the stain could be removed but they just made it larger. Don't take your rug here if you like it.

I have a gorgeous handmade Indian rug that had gotten destroyed by dog urine and had been in storage for many years. I really didn't think it could be restored but thought I would try. They brought it back to its former glory- I was THRILLED. It wasn't cheap- $350 to clean a 9 ft round rug, plus about $700 in various patches, a new band, and other repairs. However, it was money very well spent- the rug looks brand new and it's a family heirloom so it's very special to me.

The staff was extremely professional and explained in detail the work being done. The main manager (owner?) Ali is a very kind man and I felt very grateful he took such good care of my beloved old rug. I will always bring my business here first, they're the BEST!

Bagdad Oriental Rugs have done work on my rugs previously. They do exceptional cleaning and it's refreshing knowing that you are putting a renewed rug back into your clean home. Definitely recommend this place for anyone in need of their service. They also have an awesome selection of rugs to choose from.

Ali, owner of this glorious store, assisted me in determining country of origin and pricing for my estate sale. He greeted me promptly as I entered the store. I showed him a picture of first rug and without hesitation he identified it as a Persian Heiz, same rapid ID on second rug from India. I so appreciated his courtesy and knowledge. I've spoken to his daughter before and she is also very gracious.

I had two rugs that were very badly soiled cleaned and they did a great job. Very happy with the outcome.

My Persian pattern wool and nylon rug was in terrible condition after my cats did a number on it and my attempts to clean it only made it worse. It was stained and smelly. I had it cleaned at Bagdad, and all I can say is that they are miracle workers. They didn't make any promises other than to do their best. The rug came out great, with no stains or odors.

I found the cost quite reasonable, considering that the rung was over 10 years old and was unusable as it was. Now I can happily put it in any room of the house. I appreciated the tour of the facilities and the explanation of how it would be cleaned. I would definitely use them again.

Don't let these people clean your rugs. I brought my Moroccan wool rug here to be cleaned because of the chocolate milk stain. They completely ruined my rug by stretching and misshaping the border. They also basically said I was lying about the stain saying it was pet urine. We never have owned a pet. Trust what your paying customers tell you.

Took my rug here after another company failed to properly clean it. I was shown a rug being cleaned onsite and saw how thoroughly rugs are cleaned. Everyone was very friendly and they were upfront about potentially not being able to fix my issue, but the rug is in great shape now and well worth the cost of getting it cleaned here after it was not done well elsewhere.

We took our rug to have it cleaned at this place after it got wet due to hurricane Harvey. When we arrived they took the rug out of our car for us. After we went in and talked about the cleaning of the rug the price was going to be $350 to be washed. Then he said it was going to be $1950 to remove the stains. That is not what he said on the phone when i called before.

When i questioned him about it he tore up the purchase agreement and threw it across the desk and was yelling and the pen flew into my lap. I told them "who do you think you are". I was furious. I told them to put my rug back in my car and I will never return to this place. I would not recommend using this company for anything.

I think they did a good job cleaning and they are all very nice people. The guys who picked up and delivered the rug are awesome (my rug was under a heavy king-size bed). However, I would warn you about the upselling. I was expecting a two hundred something dollar bill and it cost be over $500. I bought a 'comfort' pad which I thought would be a solid plush piece of foam and looked just like what I bought before at Home Depot.

When I complained they did say it's made out of something better than the Home Depot pads but I still can't believe it's worth $132. For over $500 it will be a long time before I get a rug cleaned again!

What a wonderful experience getting my old Soumak cleaned and restored. Ali kept me informed through the entire process as I had to do this via shipping and telephone! I am so pleased. My only regret is that I could not meet these wonderful business people in person! Highly recommended!

I had a really good experience with Bagdad Rugs! I was not sure if my rug could be salvaged because it had been in a flood. They were able to work with my insurance and brought it back to its original condition. Recommend highly!

This place was really cool. I learned a lot from the sales woman, Flora, and she gave me a tour of the cleaning process. I didn't know how much work goes into cleaning a rug, and this place really knows their stuff! Totally recommend!

Excellent service, excellent price. I had 2 of my rugs badly damaged during Harvey. They looked horrible and were stained with rust and other unknown substances. They cleaned the rugs and were able to get all the stains out. They look brand new again.

Very satisfied customer! Owner is friendly, helpful, and even took him time to show us the room in which they clean the carpets and explained the process. Everyone there is professional and helpful. I have been a client of Bagdad Oriental Rugs services for many years now and I am a very satisfied customer. Finding a decent price for housecleaning that includes bonding and insurance is difficult but it is just that. Thorough and detail cleaning includes treatment of hardwood flooring, window shutters and bed linens with each visit. Working with them is professional and they try to accommodate the customer when there is a conflict with schedules or Holidays on your cleaning day. Very satisfied, would and have recommended them to others.

I was treated to a behind the scenes tour of the rug washing facility, which made me feel secure in leaving my rug here for a cleaning. I have a dog who likes a specific spot on my rug, and I finally decided to have it cleaned. I was surprised how vibrant the colors were when I got them back and how kind the owners (I believe they're a family business) were when I left and picked up my rugs.

The facility is clean and while waiting, I browsed some rugs. Pretty thorough selection so I may be back to buy. Discount on website helped me pay less; thankfully the manager let me know about it before I went in! Would highly recommend.

Based on specific detailed reviews by other Yelp Houston folks (and thank you for this!), I brought 3 rugs to Bagdad for cleaning. One is a gorgeous hand made floor rug. The other 2 are machine made runners I use in the kitchen. Cleaning took less than a week. The rugs look fantastic. There was a 15% off coupon here that I used.

Extremely friendly, professional and did a great job cleaning a runner rug that I had in my office. It suffered water damage and needed to be cleaned. They were fast friendly and efficient. Extremely satisfied!

Went in to get an estimate for a Persian rug, which my puppy had chewed. They were responsive and straight forward about the damage. In the end, the rug wasn't salvageable (the cost of repair would far outweigh the cost of the rug), but they offered me money off on a new rug if I were to trade it in. They answered my questions and weren't pushy at all.

We have been in Houston over 25 years and have tried most of the major oriental rug cleaners over the years. Acting on Yelp recommendations, we tried Bagdad this year. Indeed, the customer service was top notch, friendly and responsive. More importantly, our rugs came back cleaner and brighter than they EVER have before. One particular rug had old dog stains and odor that our new dog could apparently sense, despite earlier cleanings.

That rug is now like new! Another rug -- a runner -- has always had a slight curve, but was otherwise so pretty we overlooked the defect. Bagdad returned it clean AND straight! How about that!?
