Chemtex is a very unprofessional company, please clear your terms before taking their services. Staff are very rude and take you on a ride- Ex (Anubhav-Sales). No professionalism while dealing with their customers.

Got one Chemtex Fumigation Machine (1500W fumigator) from Chemtex Speciality Ltd., Kolkata, and it worked only for less than 3 months. Surprisingly, when I approached Chemtex Speciality Ltd. to get the machine repaired, they just unprofessionally expressed that they have no back-up service system, so just casually made me understand that this machine is simply a scrap for me and of no use. They are not at all professional and are just making money in such a tough time of the earth. I feel I have been fooled by Chemtex Speciality Ltd.

Edit: Changing review from 1star to 3star only because of the prompt action taken to remediate the issue. The team reached out to me and delivered the product within a few hours after this review was put up. Appreciate the effort - especially Mr. Satyaki Sengupta from the telemarketing team and the delivery person- who were extremely polite and made sure to address my concerns.

They are short staffed which is why the order took time but appreciate the fact that they made sure to take into account the complaint and acted swiftly on it. Ordered a 5L alcohol based handrub from Chemtex on 27th April. Its a prepaid order. It's been 10days and have received neither the product nor any communication from them regarding the reason for delay. Emails, DMs go unanswered. Negative comments get deleted. Extremely unprofessional behaviour. Cheating people in the middle of a pandemic! DON'T BUY FROM THEM.

I ordered a bundle of Fog gun with 6 liters of disinfectant liquid. The company on their website promised Fog Gun of sailwin company SW 1200 but sent a cheap substitute Which did not even have a company name, looks like a cheap Chinese import. The machine stopped working after precisely 5 uses within a week. The machine let out burnt smell and was emitting white smoke from the plastic body part rather than the fog it should have produced.

When I complained about the same they asked me to take it to a local electrical repair shop saying that the product doesn't come with any support. ( this is not mentioned anywhere on the website) Please be careful while dealing with such companies. Now I have serious doubts in my mind regarding the liquid in the disinfectant jar as well, and plan to get it tested from a lab around me.

This pandemic has changed a lot of things and people are wanting to be careful with everything around, unfortunate some people are using this as an opportunity to make a quick buck and playing with lives.

I have purchased 3 family packs for my family and extended families. All are very happy with the product. The floor cleaner is specially good. I ordered pack of 56 bottles of 110ml handrub which again is value for money. Delivery is satisfactory, and packaging reasonably good. I recommend Chemtex products in these pandemic times.

Update: On escalation, they responded and delivered the product. Giving them the benefit of doubt of lockdown limitations. Product(hand sanitiser) is quite satisfactory, hence the second order. Earlier review: Poor management of web services. My old login wasn't recognised. I had to create a new account. I made a new order and it failed after successful payment.

But their order book said incomplete and a few hours later said cancelled. No reason, no logic. I mailed them, sent a contact form raising my issue. They haven't got back at all regarding refund. Its pathetic really, bordering on sinister.

FRAUDS! Beware. I got a fumigator from them barely a week back and its not working. Its hardly even used. On sending an email to the company I was told to get it checked with some local technicians as they cannot do anything about it. Its a moral responsibility of a company to see to it that the product that they send is good. I can understand that certain products can be faulty but its your moral duty to get it corrected. These guys are in the business of conning people. And i am definitely planning to take legal action. So that others are spared from dealing with these frauds!

Further update: Online customer team contacted me just now by the name of Ms/Mrs Sushmita. She has assured me that the consignment will be despatched by the nearest available offline dealer so that the product would reach me as soon as possible. If anyone in a higher position is reading please look into the matter. I had ordered a set of alstasan 150 silvox mist. Product was supposed to be delivered on June 6th. The delivery courier agency says they have received the product in a damaged manner and won't be able to deliver it and asked me to contact the merchant. I was able to contact the chemtex- online number and have spoken to them and even sent them the mail which the courier team sent me.

Now they are going through a process of again discussing with the courier team. After that conversation, getting in touch with them again has been literally impossible. Nobody picks up the phone. All this can go on and wait. But in the process, but what about the customer who has ordered the product. And it's not a product which can wait to be used. U and I know that it's an essential disinfectant which is ordered for a purpose which is not served.

I request the company to kindly send in a replacement and the discussion with the courier company can go on where it's eventually decided who is at fault. But it's unethical to keep the buyer waiting in the process. It's a small amount purchase, but still an essential one which I required on time. If anyone superior is looking I to this, please do the needful. My order number is 31127
