I have been a customer for many years. Yes, they are a tad expensive. However, the employees are trustful, thorough, professional, and helpful. I feel very confident having them clean my house while I am not at home. I get excellent and consistent service. They are thorough and address any issues I may bring up. They are accommodating to my odd schedules. Frankly, they do a better job of cleaning my house and organizing my clutter than I could ever do. For all of these reasons and some others, I remain a loyal customer and recommend their services.

These peeps saved me at a time when I was physically incapacitated. A very kind friend saved the day and I was floored when a she send me a git card for April Lane. My prior attempts to find a cleaner on a temporary basis met with failure. Many other companies had very restrictive assessments with over-the-top details, or were ridiculously expensive, or had endless rules, or seemed to be only expert in roadblocks - not flexibility. April Lane staff did everything to help and listened to what I needed, and wow. we could not have been happier. Courtney was exceptional on every level imaginable. Not only are her cleaning skills insanely brilliant, but she is kind, jovial and a delight. What's not to love:

WOW! I am blown away. I at first hesitated to hire a cleaning service because we are fairly tidy and only needed help with a few specific areas (bathrooms and kitchen). Every cleaning company I found before this one had package prices and would only clean essentially the whole house. Being able to narrow the cleaning to the areas that need it most made this service accessible and affordable for us.

We previously hired Green Cleaning Seattle and were dissatisfied. One of their cleaners didn't wear a proper face mask, and after nine hours, they had cleaned only the kitchen and one bathroom - and not all that well. I was completely floored to see how fast and how well April Lane's cleaners worked. In only 3 hours, they got our kitchen and bathrooms completely sparkling.

This service is well worth it, highly customizable, and affordable. From start to finish, booking this service and having the cleaners come was smooth and hassle-free. I highly recommend this service.

We asked to clean just our kitchen and bathrooms, and we're happy with the results and the process! The service had asked us questions about what we wanted and made an appointment; the 2 cleaners showed up right at the start of the appointment window and obviously had read the notes from us. They were friendly and efficient, talked to us for a minute about the job and asked about extra tasks to do if they finished up early.

We opted to leave while they cleaned for everyone's covid safety so they let us know it should take 3 hours; while we were on our way back they called to let us know they were finishing up. They did the extra task, which was lovely to come back to.

My assigned house cleaner has been good about learning some of the quirky details of my house. She does an excellent job and often adds some nice finishing touches. She's also very good with my cat. On those rare occasions when she isn't available, April Lane communicates with me and sends out a substitute cleaner. They are very organized, working off notes about my house, so that the quality remains consistent. I've been a satisfied client of April Lane's since 2010.

I love coming home on April Lane days. Of course the crew vacuums, mops, and dusts; but it's the details that make all the difference: they clean the sink strainer until it shines; they polish the tray underneath my flour and sugar canisters. Things I will simply never do, but that make my home feel warm and loved. They are awesome.

I've had April Lane cleanings regularly for a couple of years and always appreciated their high standards. I recently had my first "catch-up" cleaning since the COVID restrictions were modified to permit house cleaners to operate again. The team was just GREAT! They wore masks and followed all COVID precautions. They were thorough plus some, I mean 100% cleaning on all aspects of the house.

They showed the characteristic April Lane professionalism, competence and pride in their work. They listened to my requests and I never had to repeat myself. The cleaners were of good cheer -- most welcomed by me after the doldrums of the pandemic shutdown. My spirits were lifted further when I walked through the cleaned house and enjoyed the shine and spotlessness of the floors and all the clean surfaces. My reaction: BRAVO!

The world's best house cleaners, *and* reasonably priced. Seriously. They are professional, thorough, friendly, helpful -- everything you could want. We have one cleaner we've worked with for the past two years, and although everyone else has been absolutely fine (sometimes she'll bring a trainee), Breezy is. well, like a breath of fresh air. :) I feel like I *make* money getting my house cleaned professionally. I work from home, so by outsourcing, I spend that much more time focused on my own work. In a way, it's one of my most valuable investments in my work.

In the few years we've been fortunate enough to be clients, we've had uniformly excellent experiences. Our cleaners are always thorough, consistent, and delightful to interact with. When I get home after work on a cleaning day, I'm often greeted by a friendly note with pertinent updates (e.g. we're making good progress on that mildew problem in the bathroom). I feel fortunate to have found April Lane's and especially glad to have worked with some truly wonderful people.

Cannot speak highly enough of April Lane's. I've used them for years both personally and in my rental property. They are always prompt, communication is clear, and the work is exceptional. Every time I am delighted by my sparkling home. This is compounded by the very reasonable rates. I will always recommend them.

We've been using April Lane's for about four years. Our primary cleaner, Kimberley, has been amazing! I am very picky, but even on those rare occasions when we have had a substitute cleaner, the attention to detail is great. Love the reliability and all of the staff have been super friendly and accommodating.

We've had every-other-week cleanings by April Lane's for a couple of years now. They do a great job, and I get the impression that it's a good company that cares about its employees and keeps them happy. They are great to deal with; no problems ever with billing or communication or schedules or anything like that. I think they have gone through some significant growth, so there has been some turnover in the individuals who come to clean, but they always let us know in advance when they make a change, and now it seems to have settled down so that we have a regular person, which we like. p.s.

Just looked at some of the other reviews on here, and I'm impressed that it looks like they respond to each and every negative review and try to do what they need to to make every customer happy. That's consistent with my experience - this is a clearly a well run company that pays attention to detail.

I used April Lane once, and will not do it again. - They were very expensive ($700) - For a crew of 5, they did a VERY basic job. It was hard to tell they'd even been there. My previous cleaning service did a far superior job in the same amount of time with just 1 or 2 people. - When they arrived, I told them it was a shoes off house (it had rained earlier).

They said "oh ok, we'll put on shoe covers". which they put on, eventually, AFTER taking a tour and walking all around the carpets and rugs in their outdoor shoes. - One of the crew took our alarm system remote, which means we had to get the whole system reset (bring a technician, stay home from work etc). We searched high and low but couldn't find it, so we contacted April Lane to report this; they told us they had inquired with the crew, who denied the remote had been there. Knowing full well it was in its usual place when I left the house with the crew in it, I pushed back and requested a refund for the cost of resetting our alarm system and the new remote.

To their credit, April Lane made no difficulty and sent us that refund. Given the situation, I would have expected them to offer at least a partial refund on the cleaning as well, but they did not. - Overall the crew didn't come across as professional: they were loud and rowdy, and almost knocked over a vase as they were setting down their equipment while chatting and not paying attention; it felt like they'd come for a party rather than to do their job.

I wouldn't have cared if they'd done a good job and if nothing had gone missing; but in hindsight their behavior should have been a red flag. I do want to note the positives: - The crew arrived sharp on time on the day of the cleaning - Breezy, the person who handled our complaint, was professional, polite, and responded quickly - The refund was issued to us promptly after we provided the alarm company's invoice -----Edit (10/12/18)------- After I posted this review, April Lane's owner Samara contacted us to apologize and offer a discount. We suggested the number that seemed appropriate given the level of service they provided, and she issued the credit we requested within a business day.

Love this company! Especially the owner - amazing, inspiring woman who cares about her employees and local community. When it comes to home cleaning, April's company is by far above the rest.

We've been using April Lane's for almost two years now; after getting off the waiting list. In a word - best money we've spent. We used them both in Fremont in our townhome, and now in Kirkland. When we moved we even got to keep the same cleaner. All of our cleaners have been prompt, friendly, professional and do a great job. They always little extra touches that go above and beyond - like arranging my son's teddy bears on his bed in a playful way; which always brings a smile to his face. Can't say enough good things.

And they are reasonably priced. Their front office is super proactive when cleaning days are on holidays or our cleaner is sick or on vacation, and they are very responsive if ever there is an issue (which is exceedingly rare). We love the service.

I have been a customer for maybe 15 years. I am pretty happy with April Lane's Home Cleaning. I have a lot of clutter and they are really good about helping me to clean and organize it. If they miss something, I call the office and let them know and someone comes to make things right, if need be. Or I mention it the next time they come clean to make sure it is no longer missed. They are great and I feel lost if they don't come clean.

I am not a regular customer. I rely on April Lanes 2 or 3 times a year when the lackadaisical job I call house cleaning clearly doesn't cut it. Their work is impeccable. It is such a treat to come home and find EVERYTHING sparkle clean at the same time. Worth. Every. Penny.

After a year in our current apartment, it became clear that our daily surface tidying wasn't cutting it. I tried doing some deeper cleans, which in turn led to additional stress about the areas that weren't clean. So, I finally booked an appointment. Excellent, friendly service! Tried it out for just 2 hours (which didn't include their guarantee) and was pleasantly surprised with the finished product, especially compared to other apartment cleaners I've had in Seattle.

We started using April Lane's Cleaning just after our first child was born (actually, the initial cleaning happened while we were in the hospital, which we HIGHLY recommend!). As two busy, working parents, this has been a huge part of our "new parent success story." There's no way to overstate the relief we feel, being able to cut corners on deep cleaning in order to capitalize on family time.

We feel like good parents because the toilet is clean, but we also get to spend our weekends goofing off with our now-toddler. And April Lane's has been amazing to work with. We connected with them through word-of-mouth, from friends. Samara and the wonderful cleaners we've had (Big shoutout to Diwas and Rachel!) have all been so friendly, it's nice to feel like there's a personal relationship there. They're flexible about moving cleanings (like when, say, the in-laws are coming to town) and consistently (for two years now) provide meticulous, thorough cleanings.

We have been customers for a year now and we are extremely satisfied by their service. They handle reschedules or any customer requests promptly. Our cleaner Jon does a great job. Samara, the person handling customer service emails, is dedicated and respectful.

I have been a client for several months now and I am thrilled each month to come home to a sparkling house! Matt is such a delight. He is thorough and never misses a thing. He's also excellent about putting everything back exactly as I like it. I'm a bit finicky about my little pieces of art being placed carefully. The customer service, billing, and special requests are all handled flawlessly. The fact that Matt lets my dog out of her crate to keep him company when he's in the house is the cherry on top. I've had my house cleaned by April Lane's for more than four years now, and have nothing but good to say about them. In that time, I've had three different cleaners, each of whom was friendly, efficient, and thorough. One of the things that I really like about the company is how easy it is to scale and customize the service. I rent rooms in my home and I'm on a pretty tight budget, so I have the company clean the kitchen, bathroom, hallways, and living/dining/sun room every two weeks, but skip the full dusting and fingerprint-wiping treatment. I'm able to add on services on an as-needed basis (watering the plants, cleaning the refrigerator, etc). They're happy to use specific cleaning products that I provide (such as my special marmoleum floor polish) and take care to follow any special instructions that I might have.

The main office notifies me of anything out of the ordinary, such as a substitute cleaner, a later-than-usual start time. They're also quick to deal with any mistakes. Once, the cleaner had a busy schedule and accidentally skipped our house. The cleaner and the main office realized it before I did, and gave us 50% off our next cleaning, just as a matter of course.

Another time, I asked them to clean the fridge and the wrong fridge got cleaned, but they caught it before they left and cleaned the actual fridge, and comped me the time spent cleaning the other one. I also really like that I have the same cleaner every week, and that she's a real person with a name (hi, Liz! and Jessica, and Kat!). I try to be out of the house during the actual cleaning, but my cleaners have always gone out of their way to remember me and my house.

Our current cleaner, Liz, makes sure to have the main office notify me if she's scheduled to come by early, since she knows it takes me a little while to prep the house for her (putting away dishes, changing out dirty bathmats, etc).

Top notch all the way. I tried a few different cleaning services, then got to stop looking when I found April Lane's. From scheduling & cleaning, to everything in between, this team is a really pleasant, reliable, and thorough experience. They've also easily accommodated schedule changes when I have house guests.

Laura always does a great job, and she always communicates with me about any concerns that might come up. Thesis-writing and job-interviewing had totally distracted me from cleaning and packing. I realized over the weekend that I was going to need help if I was going to make my apartment presentable for a parental visit this weekend. (You don't need maternal disapproval at graduation). April Lane's Home Cleaning to the rescue! I sent an email on Saturday, and had an email/voicemail back early Monday morning.

They were able to schedule me for late this week like I wanted, and gave me a really reasonable price for 3 hours of hard-core cleaning. Isela came exactly on time and was very sweet and efficient. She didn't catch quite everything, but my apartment went from total disaster zone to completely presentable between 2 and 5 PM., and that's a feat. Bonus points: Samara told me over email that it would be easier and cheaper for me to buy new drip pans instead of having them clean them.

I had no idea but seems how they're only $12ish at Home Depot, she was right. I really appreciated that she was wanted to save me money by using Isela's time as efficiently as possible. I couldn't afford to use them on a regular basis, but maybe you can. And I'd highly recommend them for an emergency/move-out/holy-crap-I-can't-show-THIS-mess-to-my-mom cleanup.
