I've used this service for over 7 years. I initially used them as a deep clean when I put my house in the market after the disgusting tenant moved out. It was a major job, but they did great and had reasonable pricing. I've used them as a bi-weekly service since, including a move-out cleaning when I bought my last house. Leah, the owner, is great and ready to work with. And I'm super picky and needy when it comes to cleaning. this local business.

My parents have used A Maid for You for a few years and loved them. I recently had a ton of ash in my apartment from the fires, and I used them for a one-time cleaning. They were fast, extremely nice, very good detail cleaning, and the pricing was better than other services. Highly recommend them, will be using them again in the future.

They gave us a capped estimate and guaranteed not to go over even if the job took longer than the estimated time. Unfortunately, the job did take them about an hour longer than they estimated. They did an EXCELLENT job though! Great work and I highly recommend them.

I had my first appointment with this house cleaning service this morning and I was delighted with Julie! She was thorough and although obviously a little nervous but did a great job! In 2 hours she had everything done! And very well I might add!

All i have to say is there girls are great. They pay attention to full detail and i am 100% satisfied with the service. I will definetly call them back once a month for cleaning. Leah and Katie are so kind hearted and im very glad i chose them to clean my home:

Had an awesome service when I lived in Seattle and had the same expectations for finding a service here in Salem. Discovered A Maid for You on Angie's List and got in touch with Lea to see about cleaning a rental house we were staying in while looking to buy. Did a fantastic job cleaning that home, was really good with our dogs as well. They did a move out cleaning for us in the rental house that was superb and transitioned right in to keeping our new home clean as well. Are actually still working on getting all of the boxes unpacked but they do a great job working around that and keeping everything spic and span. Have had quite a few guests visiting this summer and they have really worked with us on a good schedule to keep everything spic and span for our visitors.

They have been very responsive to my needs and my change in schedule I would highly recommend them.

We had just moved to Salem from Austin TX. Bought a resale home and needed it cleaned before we moved all of our stuff in. I called about 10 days before our move date, and left a message. I heard back from the well-mannered and friendly proprietor Leah Holsten within 24 hrs only to be told she was fully booked up at the time. So at first she graciously declined the job, but within short order took pity on my "new to the market" status, and said she would offer her crew a Saturday overtime opportunity, and if they accepted I would get my slot.

We ended up with 5 people, including Leah, cleaning our house 2 days before we moved in. Though the home was devoid of furniture and had only kitchen appliances, there were 36 windows, 2 1/2 baths, some built-in shelving and 3600 sf of hardwood or bamboo flooring, some slate flooring, tile in the master bath and some carpeting. First, Leah dropped by before the scheduled cleaning date, and went over, in detail, using her customized form, all the tasks that would get done.

She clearly discussed how things would get cleaned and what processes or chemicals would be used. She estimated the time to clean the house based on her hourly rate per person and listened carefully to my input and questions. I agreed to the deal. We didn't stay around to watch the work but when we returned, the home appeared immaculate. As agreed to, all cabinets got wiped, window sills and blinds dusted, baseboards and stairwell railing wiped, recessed lights dusted, fridge cleaned. Sinks, toilets, tub and showers, all counters cleaned. Hardwood floors were "swiffered", tile flooring mopped, carpets vaccuumed.

Even the garage cabinets got a wipe and the floor swept. They showed up on time and finished just a 1/2 hour or so beyond the estimated time. Great job, done on time and on budget. We were now ready to move in. Though my wife and I intend to do maintenance cleaning, we also intend to get Leah and her nice ladies back in for quarterly "deep" cleaning. Leah has it going on. Worth every penny.

The price was right and the work was good. The owner, Leah, was friendly and gave me a great quote for a move out clean up. They really made that rental shine. I will definitely use them again.

We called them with a request for next day service (on a Saturday). they made it work for us and sent us a great cleaner, though a little slow. The interaction with the owners, though was less than pleasant. I think that it is a husband wife team. My wife and I ended up talking to both. the wife is nice enough but the husband is abrupt and rude. Had we only been exposed to the wife we might have used them again. Because of the interaction with the husband we will not use them again.
