Fast response. They were professional, friendly and did a great job not only fixing the leak but also excellent job replacing our kitchen faucet. I highly recommend A-1 Plumbing! I called with a very time sensitive situation and Sheri immediately accommodated my request to have someone come out that afternoon! I could not believe she did this without skipping a best! Kyris came and quickly fixed our clogged toilet and we were able to host a State Legislative Member without the concern of a stinky bathroom! I called A-1 this morning and was able to take the spot of a cancellation. The lady who answered and set my time was delightful. Juan and Saul clearly new what they were doing and made a good team. I accepted their estimate to perform all of the plumbing work needed for adding an additional bathroom to our house including installing the tub, toilet, vanity, etc. They seemed very reasonable at first and responsive. The first issue was that the subfloor had to be cut into in order to access the existing plumbing to tie into. Instead of only cutting where necessary, they cut the floor the entire size of the new bathroom creating unnecessary additional costs to repair and replace the subfloor without any existing supports to tie into since they cut right up to them.

The next issue was with the plumbing they installed. First, they glued the flange to the toilet without the subfloor being replaced. Second, they wanted to vent into the additional bathroom (a baby's room) instead of into the attic and tie into the existing vent, which was part of the original work request and estimate. Thirdly, they placed the shower/tub drain so close to the wall that it wouldn't possibly line up to a 30 shower/tub drain.

They did come back and make the repairs needed to remedy the toilet, vent, and drain, but that delayed our project by a month causing us to lose 2 contractors in the process. I had them scheduled for this afternoon to come do the shower/tub drain and shower head, but they did not show up. When I called, I was met with hostility like I was to blame and then was hung up on. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend.

I called A-1 Plumbing to repair/replace an outside hose bib. They were able to come out that very same day. They had to replace the hose bid. They were efficient and very friendly. The bill seemed high though, but in this day and age, everything is high. Service: Faucet installation

When calling to make the appointment the representative said they would be here first thing in the morning and that was true. A text message with the plumbers picture announced that he would be arriving at my house shortly and phone call from the plumber saying he would be here shortly. Very quickly assess the problem and jumped in and started working and within a very short time I had a new working water heater I'm very impressed with the quality of service the professionalism and the on time I really like the announcing picture text message that I received so I knew who was coming to my door I am impressed with their service all around and will be using them in the future.

Quick and great service with competitive pricing. Juan did an excellent job! Replaced the kitchen faucet, lines and all the shut-off valves. Tested everything to make sure no leaks happened again. The cause: hot water flex line was blocked and pressure caused it to pop off at the faucet connection. This happened at 11:30 p.m. the previous night and soaked the kitchen.

We had a hard time locating the pressurized hot water line, hence all the flooding. Also couldn't turn the shut-off initially until wrench was applied. It's unknown how old the kitchen lines were - but we know now! THANK YOU A-1 PLUMBING! Definitely recommend.

A1 was quick to respond to a leakage from our bathroom to one below. They replaced the draining system in an hour and a half. Very efficient.

I called A-1 Plumbing with a toilet problem and had an appointment very quickly. Doug, the plumber, showed up as scheduled and repaired the toilet within the time allotted. A-1 Plumbing is an amazing company! I've utilized their services on more than one occasion and they will continue to be my first call! Sheri and Jason in the office are so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Additionally, all of the technicians who have come to the house are absolutely second to none! The first time I used them, to replace a water heater, things could not have been better. The price quoted was the same as the bill, arrived when promised, etc. The only issues were they didn't shut off the electricity and ended up blowing out an outlet next to the water heater and drug the old water heater onto the lawn removing a portion of sod with it.

The second service call was HORRIBLE! Communication was so bad it was frustrating. They kept giving me a window of time that the servicemen would be at the house, to clear the drain, then they wouldn't show up during that window of time! They either didn't show up at all or tried to perform the services two to four hours BEFORE that window. I think we re-scheduled five times. The bill was almost $100 more than quoted due to machines used to clear the drain.

Their quote was over $5300 for of course things that didn't need to be done. Arc plumbing came in and did everything but they said they were going to do and more for $1200. Where A1 was going to replace the thermostat on my hot water heaterArc plumbing gave me an entire new hot water heater. And even when they said they were going to replace the thermostat they said it might not even solve the problem. They are criminals even to the point of taking advantage of disabled veterans

If you'd like to invite Dumb and Dumber into your home here's the company for you! We needed a leaky pipe fixed in our master bath. When they arrived I directed to the bathroom. Two minutes later they came out and said they'd needed to rebuild the whole faucet and it would be $395 to fix. I'm like there's nothing wrong with the faucet, we called for the leaky pipe under the sink.

They went back in for a second look and found the real reason they were called. When done fixing the leak they asked if we had any other plumbing needs? I said no. They said they were told we also had a leaky shower. I said no. Not wanting to take no for an answer they said that's what they were told. I said there's nothing wrong with the shower. Upon leaving one of them said "There you go, " and left. No thank you for your business, have a nice day. I do not recommend this business to anyone. BUYER BEWARE!

Our water heater began leaking profusely at the base. It was clear from the rusty water that it needed to be immediately replaced. I made various calls to businesses in our area to schedule the repairs. The earliest appointment I could get was one week out, but I found A-1 Plumbing and they managed to work me in the following morning. Their crew was a 10! Very knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. We had hot water again in 2 1/2 hours. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone in need of the services they offer.

Charged me 100 dollars to drive 15 miles. Then tried to charge me $850 to put a garbage disposal in. Not gonna happen. Got another plumber paid $150.

Great company. I've used them for years. Carl and Sheri are awesome to work with. The helped with a bath remodel and a water main regulator. Work was done properly and was priced well. Strongly recommend.

We had A-1 replace a yard hydrant that was leaking badly. The installers were fast and efficient and the office staff friendly. The reason I am giving three stars is because the poor quality of the hydrant they installed. There is no pressure regulation so the hydrant is either off or on full blast. The old hydrant had excellent pressure regulation.

When I called to ask if there was some way to get pressure regulation I was told that I would have to buy an additional piece of equipment to control the flow to my sprinkler. We paid $400 to have a faucet replaced and we still need to spend money to get pressure regulation.

I will never use A1 Plumbing again. We asked for our toilet to be reset, which they did. That came at a cost of $293.00. They replaced the workings inside tank, which probably did not need to be done, and charged us an additional $293.00 for that as well. It took less than an hour to complete the job. 2 technicians came on call. Only one really did work. What a rip off! I called them twice to get an adjustment on costs, but would not budge. Buyer beware.no more A1 Plumbing.

Carlos and Juan were very honest, and communicated clearly and respectfully about what the repair would involve and require. Their quote was very reasonable and the time-line was outstanding. I enjoyed meeting them and they were enjoyable to work with.

The leak is back. I will call another plumbing company. Do not use this company. I wouldn't give this company one star but you have to choose one in order to post.

Had a washing machine drain overflowing and called A-1 and they sent 2 plumbers within an hour. The 2 plumbers spent 4 hours trying to fix the problem and never even fixed the clogged drain. They tried to add more on to my bill and just decide to charge me $200 dollars to leave without fixing the problem! The best thing they did for me was they gave me the number to Action Drain and Rooter and They fixed the clogged drain in a half hour and cost $92.50! Please go with Action Drain and Rooter Service and not A-1. $200 for absolutely nothing!

As always A-1 plumbing did an excellent job on my water heater, replacing the thermostat and restoring my hot water. This is about the third or forth time I have called A-1 plumbing for service, they are always professional and explain each step of the project being done. Not impressed. First they charged me $200 to come to my business and look at my water heater. Second they did not fix the problem, but simply reset the unit by pressing the red button on the unit. I called them back to get them out to actually fix the unit instead of what they did. The person on the phone said they would have the technician call me back to discuss what they can do to help fix it.

To date they have not called me back. That was two weeks ago. I had another company come out and fix the problem for the same price A-1 Plumbing charged me they did not fix the problem. I would look elsewhere as they are more expensive then their competitors and they simply pick and choose the projects they work by not calling potential clients back. Not impressed with A-1 Plumbing and will never do business with them again.

I called A1 Plumbing in Salem, Oregon for a quote on a job in my new residence. They responded right away, looked at the project, consulted with my contractor and gave me a quote all in the same day. It was a more reasonable quote than the previous pluming company, and A1 didn't have to tear up my walls and flooring in my house to do the job I needed.

I was able to schedule to have the work done in a couple of days. The Tech sent me an text about his arrival time, with his picture so that I knew who was coming, so cool! He was polite, did a good job, and completed the job in the estimated time. The gal in the office (Alyssia) was always polite and respectful to me and kept me updated on what was going on. I would use A1 again for my next project.

All the employees with A-1 Plumbing were polite, especially the office staff who I spoke with mainly because I wasn't at the house when the work was done. The plumbers arrived as scheduled and I appreciated the advance text with a photo of the technician who was to work on my house. The work was done as expected.

Calling A1 Plumbing was a $5,000 mistake. We own a business near downtown and had a problem with an upstairs urinal. Called A1, they inspected the urinal and told us it needed a hard-to-get part that cost about $500, and they didn't have it in stock. That was on Friday. Over the weekend. the urinal (which A1 had manipulated in order to inspect) leaked ALL OVER THE FLOOR (upstairs! hundreds of gallons!) and the water went through the floor/ceiling and trashed the downstairs office. Called Judson Plumbing and they fixed the urinal in 15 minutes, with a part they had on their truck. Cost us over $5,000 to repair the damage to the building. A1 refused to pay for this, as did their insurance company. Need I say more?

Extremely overpriced! Got a quote for $1500 bucks, for 2 hours of work, and $50 bucks in materials. Charging someone $725 per hour? Maybe I'll quit and become a plumber. haha.

Between a snow storm and the holidays our hot water heater quit. Our furnace relies on our hot water system so no heat either. Usual plumber booking out over a week. A-1 saw us the same day had to order a part overnight and were back within two hours of delivery to get us warm and toasty for xmas! Very grateful.

I had A-1 Plumbing come out to fix my shower pipe supporting shower head was broken a piece was still in the feed pipe. It took them 15 minutes to do the work plus 20 minutes to get to my house and was charged $339.30 which I feel is excessive if not predatory pricing.

We had a water leak about 4 feet from the meter. We hired a professional leak detector to come out and locate and mark it. I had A1 plumbing come out for an estimate which they charged me $39.00. The estimator said $4,000 for a new line to be put in, which he was pushing for, or between $1,200-$2,400 to just repair the leak. I called Judsons. Judsons came right out and repaired the leak for $260.19. You read that right. Thank God for Judsons!
