Oreck

I am extremely disgusted at how my father was treated in this store. My father isn't as fluent in English and asked a worker (some guy who was old and tall) for help. The worker misheard the item and when my father tried to tell him, the worker yelled at my father and mistreated him. My dad was very dumbfounded and shocked so he just let it go and purchased whatever he needed to purchase and left but I am deeply upset and no one should ever be treated that way.

THIS STORE IS UNDER NEW AND POOR OWNERSHIP. It is now called ALL TYPE VACUUM. I have been bringing my 2 Oreck Vacuum Cleaners for 15 years for the free annual maintenance included in the Oreck 21 guarantee and warranty. I have always had great customer service and a good experience until recently. The new ownership last year did my annual maintenance but said there were now charges involved for a vacuum bag as well as other things that were not any charge before.

This year Joe the manager said your vacuums are disqualified because 16 years ago you missed a maintenance visit. The new ownership is looking for ways to make money on free Oreck past warranties and disqualify Oreck warranties in any way possible. Do not purchase a New Vacuum from this store based on the past stores reputation. They have horrible customer service and it's clear there just there to make as much money as possible even if it means sacrificing promised and guaranteed warranties.

The guy who helped me get the bags was helpful. But i am unable to get a refund because i live in atl and the nail salon next door brought the items back to the store. I was on a business travel and wont be there within a year. Lady refuses to ship the bags or allow me to go to another store for pickup. She said she will write a note and the bags will be there whenever I come back. WTFUDGE you mean when i come back.

Fixed vacuum on the spot. No waiting at all! She was awesome!

This location is no longer open. My vacuum is overdue for a tune-up, so I contacted Oreck via their website chat and was told there are no service shops in my area. If I want my unit serviced, I have to mail it to them at my expense. Bummer. This is my second unit, I love their products, but what ultimately sold me was their local service.

Had an clog with my Oreck Xl. The lady efficiently and quickly resolved the issue.

Helpful staff and got exactly what I needed to repair my vacuum.

Lady here was very helpful. Needed replacement wheels for our vacuum that we're shot, in 2 min and 4.50$ later I was out.

I called their store regarding a tune up for my vacuum cleaner since tune ups are free once a year while the vacuum is under warranty. When I called the store, they very notified me that I would need a proof of purchase (which I do not have) for the free tune up service. I explained this wasn't the case when I lived in Virginia and had my Oreck tuned up there.

The gentleman on the phone very sharply notified me that was an error, and offered no further help. He was actually quite rude about it. I called the Oreck store on Anderson Ln, and they did the tune up for free with no questions asked and, BONUS - they were very friendly. My advice - make the drive to the store closer to town.

I brought my vacuum into be serviced and they were closed for LUNCh - a 4 hour shift on Sunday.

I've been pondering for a while now on buying a handheld vacuum to use on my blinds, baseboards etc. So tired of dragging the Dyson around, and, honestly speaking once you extend the hose it gets awkward. Easily kinks. Especially on furniture and loses suction. Furthermore I am tired of breaking down the canister, cleaning filters etc. Safe to say I have grown so sick and tired of my Dyson.

I popped into Oreck to see what they had going. When you first walk in it's like going back in time to the 60's & 70's. The uprights look antique for sure. Just slim skinny devices with a bag. I've never had an Oreck before. I was disappointed there weren't any reviews on this place. I checked out the Oreck Ultimate Handheld for $150.

The cool sales lady, Tausha, was very knowledgeable and attentive. She demonstrated with the cleaner and allowed me to test it out. It is comfortable and lightweight and has enough suction to lift a 16# bowling ball! I was impressed with this thing so I asked what kind of deals they had. They take trade-ins and they had a sale going on. If I buy the upright cleaner, Magnesium RS, they would knock off $50 on the handheld, but, I couldn't use my trade-in offer as the uprights were on sale.

So I figured why not investigate more. I'm really tired of my Dyson (it's 10 years old). I'm here for a handheld so why not check out the uprights? Again I was impressed with the Magnesium RS. It weighs less than 8#, has a full 360 swivel on the head, two speed control, and lays completely flat allowing you to maneuver under furniture.

So after vacuuming Oreck's entire floor I decided I would take one of them also. The upright is normally $600. Today they had it onsale for $200 off and I got an additional $50 off for purchasing the handheld! So total combo deal was $500! Plus they RS has a seven year warranty with five free tune ups and I have 30 days to return them if I don't like them.

Overall I'm satisfied that I got a good deal and this will make vacuuming my house so much easier and faster. Me on the handheld and spouse on the upright or who knows I may break it down to a two day event. One day for walls, blinds, baseboards, ceiling fans etc. Day two for floors and under furniture. By for now I'm off on a Oreck adventure!

I recently took my Orcek vacuum in for some repairs at the north location of Oreck near Lakeline mall. i had amazing service and wanted to share this. Not only does my vacuum have a 21 year warrantly but most of time when I take it in for repairs they are don't on the spot. Great customer service everytime!
