Most window cleaning is pretty straight forward. Dirty glass is cleaned by using a biodegradable, non-phosphate soap, water, a scrubber and a squeegee. If any of these conditions are present, additional methods and tools must be used to address the specific problem. Extremely overpriced. I thought the quote was high at $840 for inside and out window cleaning, but the window cleaner said it would take 2 people 5 or 6 hours. They came today. Part of the time one man left with the truck while the other man worked. And part of the time he stood and talked to the guy on the ladder. So one man worked 100% of the time and the other worked 50% of the time.

They were here for 3.75 hours. So here's the math: 5.63 man hours for $840 = $149.20 per hour. Simply outrageous - I feel scammed. I expressed that to the lead worker. He was very apologetic. He said it's not his company and he realized it was expensive. I'm giving 3 stars instead of one because they did a good job. Certainly not worth $149 an hour though.

Monterey Bay Window Cleaning did an outstanding job on our store windows yesterday! I have never seen them so clean! Efren had excellent customer service skills. He was very flexible, thorough, and friendly while he was cleaning. I would not use any other company.
