Hart's Laundry & Dry Cleaning Our Goal is to provide the best in complete fabric care service. Recommended by major clothing makers! Join Hart's Hangers for Trees campaign and drop off your wire coat hangers at any Hart's location. Hart's will donate a half-cent for recycled hangers to the LFUCG Division of Parks and Recreation to buy new trees for our city.
Services
Drycleaning uses environmentally friendly solvents instead of water, to remove stains and soil from fabric. As in laundering or washing, soap must be used also. Hart's uses Sanitone soap which we believe to be the best available for Drycleaning because it not only cleans better, but brightens colors and gives fabric a softer feel.

We were in town for a wedding and my dress and my daughter's bridesmaids dress needed steamed. Mike picked up our dresses and steamed them and returned them quickly. Wonderful customer service! Thanks Mike!

Very nice people and the price is great. They lost my sheets once but work diligently to find them and they did. They are a step above the other dry cleaners in Lexington.

They say they do "alterations". But they don't do the measurements. Very poor business practice. I assume it's the same for all their branches. The inability to do measurements means that they don't do alterations.

I will never use Hart's again. The Hart's in Beaumont is an embarrassment to all dry cleaning companies everywhere. The first time they messed up my clothes, I had them clean about 8 pieces, which included skirts and suit pants/jackets. The pieces came back more wrinkled than before I dropped them off. The main supervisor at Hart's would not refund my money but agreed to redo the wrinkled pieces and gave me 10 pieces for free (he apparently forgot and later tried to tell me he only promised me 8).

This past weekend, I picked up some cardigans from Hart's in Beaumont that had been sent off to be pressed. They did not need to be cleaned as I had just bought them--they only needed to be pressed. When I picked them up, the shirts were creased in the middle where they hung on hangers and had huge indentations in the sweater where it had been folded before being placed on the hanger. I had 5 cleaned and am now worried that the cardigans are ruined. I will NEVER EVER go back to Hart's again. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

When I came to town many many years ago I ask a Lexington were should I get dry cleaning, they said Hart's. Since then I have grew to not just trust them based on a friends saying so, but from the many times they have impressed me. Always friendly and happy to put up with me dropping off large loads of clothes and then needing to count how many with me.

Many times I have left things in pockets and they made sure I got them back. One time over $100 in cash in a pocket and I got ever dollar back. I knew I had left it once I went looking for it but I had already drop the clothes off. I did not call to check on it or tell them, I just wanted to see what happen. I got it all back with a smile.

Horrible. I got everything back smelling like CIGARETTE SMOKE. I took 25 pieces, it was 186 dollars and I regret ever going there. My parents told me to go to concord's instead and I didn't listen and now I have six business suits and several other pieces of dress clothing that reek. great.

This review was posted as relevant to the Georgetown location, but applies to the whole Hart's network. since this appears to be the "headquarters", I'm cross-posting it here. So. we drop off a single suit for dry cleaning on a Saturday. We're told it will be ready Tuesday afternoon. Perfect. That gives the couple of days lee-way we needed.

We came back Tuesday at 3pm to find out that it wouldn't be delivered until around 5, and to come back then. We came back at 5:30, only to find out that it was actually delivered to a different location and would be ready for pick-up sometime Wednesday. The staff here seem generally apathetic and incompetent. They couldn't even spell my name CLOSE to correctly (of the six letters in my last name, only three found their way into the seven letter name they put into their system, and none of them were in the first two). I'm not certain if there is another dry cleaner in the area. but let's just say I'll be doing the cleaning at home, rather than expecting for this "standard" service to be available in the Greater Lexington area when I arrive.
