The original location was at 45th & Peoria, which back then was considered "way out South". All the cleaning was performed at this location until the new Plant was built in 1966 at 7025 E 41st Street. This super new facility was recognized by American Dry Cleaner magazine as their Plant of the Year in 1967. This facility is still in use today and currently services all 11 LaMode Cleaners locations. Across the past 50 years LaMode grew in number of stores and mostly spread south and east with Tulsa as the city changed.
Services
We are what use to be called a "Full Service" Dry Cleaner and Shirt laundry. There aren't many of us around anymore. Many cleaners offer only the most basic services for one reason or another. Maybe it wasn't as profitable to offer a full range of services or maybe not worth the hassle. At LaMode, we're proud to still make available to all of our customers a number of services not available elsewhere in the city. This is rather obvious since quality is right in our name, but here's why: We take the time to do it right.
A: The very best thing you can do is NOTHING! While a small amount of cool water "dabbed" on the spill may not hurt, depending on the type of fabric, it may create a color-loss situation. The best thing you can do is to bring it to us as soon as it's convenient. Don't let it sit for days or weeks before bringing it in.
Do you have a hectic schedule? Long hours at the office? Too many errands to run? Do you dread having to take the kids out of the car seat at every stop? LaMode's convenient "to-your-door" service makes life a little easier and is offered at no additional cost. How does delivery work? It's simple. In return, you'll receive two personal laundry bags, in which you'll deposit your clothes for LaMode to pick up on your designated days.

Best cleaners ever! Had a stain on the back of my coat and on the front of my dress, the snaps on my suit are rhinestone, they removed the snaps before cleaning the suit, not only were they able to remove the stains, they resewed my snap back on, I highly recommend La Mode Cleaners for my cleaning, they have my business from now on. i'm one HAPPY CUSTOMER!

Horrible Customer service! The elder gray hair lady was rude to me, , she did not know if hey we're gonna be open the next day due to weather and that it would be Monday, , I said that I needed them the next day and she said " oh well! I guess u will have to take them some where else then " I just don't understand how businesses are able to stay open with such rude workers and bad customer service, ,

I was wearing a tie I got from my brother this past Sunday, when I had one of the worst and most unexpected nose bleeds I have encountered. I reached out to La Mode and asked if they could fix it. They took my tie and shirt, and even a few extra ties I needed done and did them all for an incredible price. Everything looked as good as new. I made it in a few minutes before they closed and they still were happy for my business. If you want to use the best cleaners in the area, choose la mode

Our clothes came back smelling like smoke. They said that had never happened before and rather than issuing a refund made us give them back to try again. I just got them back today and one of the coats is wet and smells like mildew. The nice lady working the store apologized and was also disgusted at the smell of the coats but because she isn't a manager she cannot give me a refund.
She also admitted that others had recently sent clothes back because they also smelled like smoke. Be careful using this business. I am waiting on the manager to call me because I will not let them have my possession of my clothes anymore.

I called ahead about their wash and fold services. We weighed everything when I got there to verify the cost of the service. When I came to pick up my clothing they had specially dry cleaned several items they deemed too sensitive to wash regularly. Instead of setting them aside or asking me if I'd be okay with them charging an additional $45 dollars to wash cheap sweaters and cotton skirts. a total of $90.
I was told it would cost roughly $60 based on the weight on my clothing when dropping off. Terrible customer service and I was told "it costs time and money to set aside clothing" I guess you'd rather lose a customer? Does that not cost you money? I asked to speak with the owner and I wasn't given any contact info or solution to my problem. Probably won't be going back here unless they want to make this right. I will update my review if I hear from the owner or customer service representative.

I have used La Mode Cleaners every time I need a beautifully starched and pressed dress shirt, or a dry-cleaned suit. They are a locally owned Tulsa icon. I just love this dry cleaner. I am busy working mom and anytime I can get my clothing clean without me doing the work is perfect for me! They care about their customers and go the extra mile. I like people who smile and say Hello & Goodbye to you. Good Manners still count today in business. They even offer pick-up service. Amazing!
