Phone system failed. Im a member and have used the health care services. When ask to enter your social security number the robo phone doesn't have me in the system.

Champva has to be the worst service v.a. has I have been trying to enroll my son for almost a year now and I don't know what they keep doing with is school enrollment paperwork we have faxed it 2 times certified mail it to them and they still say they don't have anything can anyone tell me who I can contact so I can get some help im tired of talking to their customer service reps they are rude and can't give any answers the only thing I can think to do now is contact my local rep. or try to contact my Governor office.

Tried to get supplies for BiPAP. Wrong supplies sent. This is the Tuesday after Christmas also called yesterday. Can't get a call back.

Phone system failures. Live in Denver, get a voicemail from number from Salt Lake City, unintelligible but barely make out the last 4 numbers to call back. Letter in the mail saying I missed the call, with same last 4. Call back, 35 minutes on hold each time, make it to caller number 1, and then the call disconnects. I did get a call again a few days later. potential spam from Salt Lake City so i answered and the lady was very polite and helpful. Just frustrated with the automated phone system

I was assigned to Jessica Rivera and she was absolutely horrible. I waited over 5 months to be given a local doctor and after the VA staff lied and denied me community care because they claimed someone had called and spoken to me (they hadn't) I had to reapply. I was sent a letter from the VA, stating that they could not get ahold of me (Maybe they should have tried calling) and to call Jessica.

I spoke with her once in November, then called and left messages daily for over a week with no response. It was late December before she finally called me back andmy clan was back dated to October though she set my appointment up for mid January. It is unbelievable at how much the VA DOES NOT CARE about veterans.

Takes forever for them to schedule an appointment for you. I've had to call them 18 times in the last 83 days. Plus, if you try to make an appointment yourself, the provider look up site is glitchy as heck, AND the information that is on there isn't up to date. When the information isn't accurate, you then get two days away from your appointment and the provider has to tell you that the VA has all the wrong billing info for them, and you have to cancel the appointment.

I have spent almost 3 hrs in the past 2 days on hold trying to reach VHA OCC. I give up. I dont believe its personnel but a failed system issue. I can get through to Medicare and social security offices but the department of veterans affairs continues on - incapable and top heavy. The actual front line health care staff are among the best however, in spite of the broken system.

I'm wondering if I should try them on the question why do I continually get told I am not eligible for this treatment or this support the last one is getting told I am not eligible for Home Health ie. Homemaker Services. I ask my Patient Care Clinic Manager and great the no answer and vague reference to regulation. I'm going to bet he is trying to mislead me into thinking the old regulations under Choice Program is why. Well, under the Mission Act I can or should qualify under 3 conditions.

How many life long disabilities and conditions that some are so complex and therefore they are like I heard of that condition or I read that in the DSM 5. take a lot of time and energy to manage does it take to be deemed not able to effectively care for oneself? Yes the VHA in all departments everywhere need a lot more accountability and responsibility.

If I got $10 for every time I got below service level I would be able to retire by now. I have endured and persistently tried to move forward through this battlefield for 17 years.

Have been trying to obtain a letter of authorization for 4 weeks, calling is a joke, you start out being caller number 29 or 30, after an hour you reach someone and they tell you have been approved and a letter will go out to the provider in 10 days. I have been told this twice! I call the provider and no letter has been received. This VA program replaced the Choice Program, because it was a failure.

This VA government program is even worse! The last time I needed an authorization letter with the Choice Program, I had to reach out to my U.S. Senator, Cory Gardner, I guess at this point I will have to do the same with this program.
