They didn't listen to me when I told them what alterations I needed and wrote their notes down wrong. They did the alterations completely wrong and when I confronted them about it, they blamed it all on me and belittled me. I will never return because of their AWFUL customer service. They tried offering fixing it, but I don't have time for that before my wedding seeing as it took over a week for them to fix them and my wedding is a week away.
I rarely write reviews, but I hope someone sees this and does not go to them ever because I'd hate for anyone to have the same experience as I did. They also are so incredibly overpriced. The alterations cost more than the dresses themselves--$80 buck for four dresses for a basic alteration (sewing slits up the sides into just past the knees which they sewed them completely up).
They didn't even give us an estimate before hand. And they kept saying it was my fault that it wasn't clear enough when I asked for the alterations. My fiance is my witness that the girl wasn't paying attention and she never once asked a clarifying question or confirmed with me what they were doing. I wish I had asked to double check, but I remember the girl being kind of grumpy and snippy the first time so I didn't want to question her.
They told me that if I wanted the slits on the dresses only sewn up past the knees, I had to have marked them. Well, how am I supposed to know that ma'am if it's my first time huh? Could have been easily avoided had this company had basic customer service skills. The seamstress came out to confront my fiance and I and said she had to charge that much because it took so long. Ma'am it would not have taken that long had you listened to me and done what I had asked.
We should have been offered a partial refund at least. Even looking at Google reviews, it seemed like they charge for fixing their own mistakes too. NEVER GO TO D&L unless you want the world's worst customer service. No one should ever get treated like that and it frankly surprises me they treat their customers like that if they want business.

Don't go here. I called ahead and asked if they would wash some sleeping bags that had been damaged with sewer water. They said yes and then when I came in, the two workers there made excuses and said they had to call their boss to see if it was OK for them to wash sleeping bags with sewage water. What the hell? Who else is supposed to wash gross stuff if not professional cleaners?
They clearly just didn't want to touch them. One of the ladies said that 'the truck just left' so it wouldn't be until Monday until they got washed anyways, which tells me that they take their stuff to the Idaho Falls location. I went 3 years ago and my suit pant got rubbed somehow so that it is basically ruined. I was really hoping they would come through this time. So disappointed.

I don't know why the other reviews had such a bad experience, but I thought I would add a few insights. For the individual who expected a discount for bulk work: that simply is not how most businesses are allowed to run. Employees can't give you a discount unless there are explicit offers. A manager still might not be allowed to give you a discount - I would recommend you take bulk orders to their main location in Idaho Falls; you might be able to talk to someone more senior there.
For the individual who had their clothes creased I'm sorry for your trouble, but I would simply advise anyone who has a bad experience at a location to politely voice your concerns with a manager - they will usually want to make things right. This goes for anywhere you shop really - employees don't want to screw you over, they are usually just doing their job. Managers will want to make things right, and an owner or senior manager will absolutely try to make things right as long as you are polite.
The quickest way to get denied additional service is to be a jerk to everyone. Another note is that most of their clothes (other than tailoring jobs) are sent to Idaho Falls where their main store is and where their cleaning facility is. If you have a bulk order or need a more accurate quote I would advise people to go there from the start. As for my personal experiences I have had nothing but fast and professional service.
I once dropped off my only jacket in the middle of winter for a tear in the back and the seamstress completed it overnight as a courtesy. The work was well done and I had it back the next day for no additional charge. I have had a large rain coat cleaned and it came out wonderfully and was within their estimate. Another thing to note is that their estimates are on past experiences - it is the location in Idaho Falls that does the work and charges the fee.
I also had my chef jacket with a black stain on it (near the pen slots on the left arm) and they cleaned it to the best of their ability and even explained why they could not completely remove the stain. Basically they said that any more aggressive cleaning attempts would possibly damage the shirt. As for my normal dry cleaning for my white shirts, they are quick and fairly priced.
A white shirt is around $4, I think a little less. They are always well done and you can request an overnight job for no charge if you drop it off before Wednesday. I guess in general it isn't fair to rag on a business because of your preconceived notions of how things should be done. If you want more detailed and talented work for tailoring I would recommend a wonderful business in town called "Perfectly Stitched". The owner, who is the only employee, is extremely talented and she charges extremely fair prices. She completely fixed my torn jeans and reinforced it extensively.

Extremely disappointed. I got there to dry clean a coat for a friend as a favor. It had a bit of a smokie smell to it. Got there and they were kind enough and gave me an estimate at $10. I left and came back three days later and no one was there to attend me. When I tapped the bell a very disgruntled woman came and asked what I wanted. Said I was there to pick up a coat and gave her my name.
She then charged me $19.25. Didn't offer a receipt and left before I could ask for one. I had an appointment and left. And later come to find my friend complaining it still smelled like smoke. I'm disappointed. I understand people have bad days and maybe the smoke smell won't come out in one wash. But dang. Customer service please.

I am extremely unhappy with this business. I took over $160 of dry cleaning in and they wouldn't even consider giving me a break on the price. In addition to that, my husband's $700 suit now has double creases down the slacks that we can't get out! The lapels on the jacket were pressed flat as well! There is no attention to detail! The skirts, blouses and suits were bunched so tightly in the bags that the silk blouses had wrinkles in them before I even got them home! If you expect quality work don't go here!

I use this place two or three times a month. They have VERY reasonable prices and the turn around is extremely fast. I've never needed my shirts and jackets to be cleaned the next day or same day so I'm not sure if that is an option, but I took some shirts in yesterday and they will be ready Thursday morning. The staff is really friendly and efficient.
As far as the cleaning goes, I've never had an issue with them not being able to get out a stain. I went to Vegas recently and got a huge raspberry stain on my sleeve and they got it out without any problems. I don't even know if there is another dry cleaner in Rexburg, but if there is choose D & L! I'd give them a five if they had some sort of loyalty program
