I and my family have been clients of Hayward's since the 1940's and have always been extremely pleased with the work they do. On the basis of quality for dollar spent, they simply cannot be beaten. We specialize in Oriental rug cleaning and also clean residential and commercial carpet, upholstery and loose rugs.

One of the most important aspects is the experience level of the company AND the technician who will actually be doing the cleaning. An experienced technician will listen to your concerns and will recommend and follow through with proper cleaning procedures. Understand ALL fees before allowing someone to begin spotting or cleaning your carpet and furniture.

This is a local, family-owned business recommended to us by our neighbors. They've been in business for decades, and it's easy to see why. They did a PHENOMENAL job cleaning two huge vintage Persian rugs that had been in storage and had a moldy smell. We were convinced the rugs were a lost cause, but they were returned to us smelling of.absolutely nothing!
It was a miracle! Not only did they pick up our rugs from our home, but they also brought them back and moved the furniture back for us. They also did some minor repair work on the edges of the rugs. The "delivery" guys were the owner and his son, who were delightful to chat with. Not sure if they offer delivery outside of Elgin and surrounding towns. We have since recommended them to friends that live an hour or more away and they agreed that making the drive was worth it!
