We had A Safe Home come out to service our gas fireplace that has never worked properly since moving in to our new home 5 years ago. Dylan arrived on time (early, actually) and was extremely efficient. We asked questions, which he politely answered, and continued to work as we talked. He was very knowledgeable. It turns out that we had two bad wall switches, which is why our fireplace was taking forever to turn on.

We also had a bad smell, which Dylan assured us was from dust (that he cleaned off). This was likely from the original home build and installation, as we haven't really used our fireplace. He checked for leaks, which there were none. After he left, we continued to have our fireplace on and the smell was already noticeably less than it used to be. The smell had been so bad, it kept us from using our fireplace! Now we can enjoy it this winter season. We cannot recommend Dylan and the team at A Safe Home enough! :) Thank you!

They came and replaced the gas valve in my fireplace but some time ago the pilot flame went off. I called them and the person who assisted me on the phone told me that I have to open the gas valve on the wall. I could not open it because it was broken. So they did their job partially well. They never finished the job because the pilot should have been replaced as well.

I am tired in this state of Colorado to pay an arm and a leg and nobody seems to finish their job well and completed. I am over, over of this. They charged me $ 175 for a diagnostic which took the guy 3 minutes, (very ridiculous), $ 215 for the part, (extremely expensive plus taxes. So I paid $ 406 for 10 minutes of miserable work and my fireplace does not work. Very nice.

My commute changed up a bit this week and on 2 days I have had the misfortune of having to drive on the road with one of your employees. I'm not sure how many people you have working or how many have company branded cars but this one is a Ford Explorer with license plate RUQ 832. Nothing outright illegal, but very aggressive driving, cutting people off, speeding, tailgating, etc. Both times just before 8:00 am south bound on Kipling by C470. Enough for me to not consider you if I need these services in the future.

Colt performed routine maintenance.thoroughly cleaned the gas fireplace and pilot light and checked for leaks. He answered our questions and provided some tips. I asked about installing a blower. After assessing our use of the fireplace, he said we would not get much benefit for the expense - even though it would have been more business for him. You don't find honesty and ethics like that every day. We'll call them next time we need maintenance or repair.

Safe Home has been my "go to" gas fireplace maintenance company since I bought my house 2 years ago. Instead of trying to earn more money for themselves, they tell you like it is. They told me maintenance every 2-3 years is sufficient. They give discounts for servicing multiple fireplaces. I had an issue today and they literally showed up PRECISELY at the minute of my appointment and because they'd been out before to work on my fireplaces they didn't charge for the visit even though they weren't at fault for the problem. True family run business with father and sons showing up and pride in their work. Grateful I found them!

I've had several people in to look at my gas fireplace. No one seemed to have a clue what to do. I was told to contact a plumber, who told me it would be more cost effective to just replace the unit ($$$$$). A SAFE HOME was recommended by a property manager. Their tech came in, listened to my concerns, and had the fireplace up and running within about half an hour. Great service.would definitely recommend!

We were very impressed with A Safe Home. I called several companies, and prices were extremely variable for gas fireplace repair. A Safe Home charges a flat fee of $150 to come out a do repairs, regardless of time to fix the issue (parts extra). Our fireplace would turn on and stay on for about 10 minutes, and then spontaneous turn off. The tech who came out was extremely professional.

He came in, and went immediately to work. He took extra time to meticulously clean our fireplace, which was above and beyond. In addition, he attempted a fix which would not require the extra cost of additional parts. He then stayed around for 15-20 minutes to see if it would work. Unfortunately, we required the part he was trying to avoid replacing, which he then replaced for just the cost of the part.

Our fireplace has been working perfectly ever since. We were very impressed with this company, everyone was pleasant and professional from beginning to end, we would highly recommend. One note, they do not take cc, so be prepared with a check.
