Ryan was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful to resolving the problem with my main water line, would highly recommend.

Had a great experience. Unfortunately we had a clog in our upstairs bathroom beneath the sink and tub and another service provider never even tried to clear it but gave us an estimate for $600 to repair. Ryan from Dennis Diffley drain service tried multiple ways to clear it, he was very fast and efficient. He cleared the drain with no problems for only $200. This company is the definition of unprofessional and incompetent. About a month ago, I called requesting some basic services (riser installation and a pump out). The receptionist said a technician would call me. This never happened. I called three times over the next three weeks requesting the same services. Again, I was told someone would call to schedule service. Finally, I called a fourth time and finally I was able to get a technician scheduled for a date and time. Well, on that date and time the technician calls and cancels and asks to reschedule.

I agreed to reschedule for two days later. Well, that new date and time comes and goes and they're a no show. I called the main number and they seemed (yet again) to have no idea who I was or what services I was seeking (I must have given them my name, number, and address a dozen times). The only reason I persisted in trying to use Diffley & Sons was because the previous home owner used them.

I figured they knew the property and that this would be relatively hassle free. Big mistake on my part. After all was said and done, this company did nothing but waste my time (including two re-arranged work days so I could be home when they were supposed to come by). Please, I highly recommend finding another service to assist you. This company is just utterly unprofessional and not worth your valuable time. Thank you.

Update: A large sinkhole has opened up above the septic tank they were supposed to collapse and fill. Unfortunately this is under a large deck that was built over that spot, putting it's structural integrity in question. Called Diffley twice. Both times told I "was on the list." That was a week ago.

Main drain backed up. Called Dennis Diffley & Sons and they came out within a few hours. Pulled a disgusting amount of grime and tree roots out of the line. Everything is running great now. Low and fair price. Also wore a mask the whole time which is appreciated in these times! Thank you!

They had to dig out and replace a section of the cast iron drain out through the fieldstone foundation of my house. They came on time, were courteous, did a fine job, and cleaned up afterwards. They also charged me less than the estimate! I was very pleased. I couldn't 't ask for better.

I am not the review person! But if there is below than 1 star i would of give that to this company! Called 2 weeks straight tried to reach to Denis get price and when he can fix. He is never in office left twice a day 2 weeks straight message to his secretary! Nobody called! She is Extremely rude! Dont even waste your time with them! Very Unprofessional!

Amazing company to work with! Very professional employees right from beginning phone call to service technician! Extremely reasonable price also! I hope to never have a drain problem again but if I do, Diffley and Daughters is my number 1 choice!

Never use this company! They never fixed the problem, refused to get our sump pump working which they caused to stop working. They would not try to get the pump started which shut down because they jetted the lines wo taking the pumps out. All the debris from jetting the lines blocked and plugged the pump! They left a mess of water all over the floors. I called the office after they left. They never called back! We had to get an energy service the service the pump! They are horrible!

This is our family business and if your having any water problems, your in great hands. We have the equiptment and know how to get the job done riight and at unheard of prices. Hope to hear from you soon.

Bought a property in February had one rain storm and now dealing with a sink hole they came out two days after just to fill it with dirt and walk away knowing that around the sink hole there was soft edges, from the pressure of that dirt made another yet a BIGGER SINK HOLE now I called them back the day of there unprofessional job I get "they didn't have the right equipment " bullcrap knowing I have a CHILD AND A DOG any company would had found this a hazard and came out again right away, my last but fair warning with this company I called yet again and demand the right job be done. One of the company's I ever called.they couldnot fix water coming in house through walls.came to house four different times to try and fix left mess all the owner said is she has internal problems.never showed up when they said they would.finally they quit and on way to court. They will sweet talk you and take your money becarful. Bob

Don't hire this company to do anything with water not even a hole in your garden hose. Hired them in may 2018 writing this in July 2018 job never finished made mess. Cement all over walkway and glass sliding door track.took money never came back to finish job. Filed complaint small claim court

Didn't find out until after they were done checking out my situation that it was going to cost me $100.00 just to have them there for 15 minutes. That us something they should be upfront about!

My kitchen sink wasn't draining, my plumber said the issue was in the main pipe going out to the line and I should call Diffley, they came same day and resolved the issue, I couldn't have been any happier. Great Service and Professionalism.

I CANNOT say enough great things about these guys! I was pregnant and needed to relocate 2 kids into new rooms, but our basement would NOT stop flooding. they came in highly recommend so of course I expected the price to be insane. Not only were their ideas different form the 3 other quotes, (which after reviewing made way more sense) but they were not the most expensive at all.

I am very happy with their work. they made a stressful situation a much calmer one. You don't want a crazy pregnant lady coming at cha! The guys were very nice, and respectful to my house. I would recommend them and also call them again, hopefully I wont have to though :)

Recently purchased house and our basement was getting wet -- but we have a French drain and two sump pumps. Should not be happening. The company we've used in the past at our old house is out of business. First, I called on a weekend. The on call person called me back in less than 30 min and did some trouble shooting over the phone. He helped me decide that it was not an emergency so we did not need to incur the $100 fee to have him come over.

We could wait until Monday and get a free estimate on how to fix the problem (which we thought was two dead sump pumps). Called Monday and got an appointment for Tuesday. Technician came out (a bit a late, but that was quickly forgiven). He took the time to explain the systems in the basement -- why they were done like they were, how they could be better and why they didn't need to be changed because they work fine.

He also solved the problem of the pumps.one was a power issue (battery back up was hooked to power, but pump wasn't) and one was a float issue. Since it wasn't really any work done, no charge. I can tell you I will call Diffley to make any improvements in the system should we need them or for any other services they perform that we may need. Great service.

Impeccable service from their tech Jon and his assistant, a can do and won't stop attitude was impressive to see. Very professional and never lost their heads or their cool. Worked long into the night in 18 degree temps. Pricing was very reasonable for the work they put in. Would Definitely recommend using their service if you every have a drain issue in your house or business.

Good experience! They were: flexible about appt. times, prompt, friendly, unclogged my drain quickly and efficiently and, with a coupon from Angie's List, charged me a competitive rate. He also suggested a product for ongoing drain maintenance. I would definitely recommend this company to unclog your drain.

When I call what I think is a reputable company, I expect to have the job done properly the first time. This company sent a very inexperienced young family member to do a job at my house. It was horrendous. They did completely redo the work, however they refuse to clean up the cement spills on my driveway. I have asked them to return the driveway to its original condition and the owner refuses.

She says I have cost her too much money and I am too picky. If the job was initially done correctly, they would not have had to redo it and cost this owner "too much money". Don't use them or be sure you watch their every move and inspect the job before they leave.

Had trouble with a clogged toilet and the plumber next door said it was out of his league. We got this guy from Yelp of course. We called and he offered to add us on to the end of the day. Got it running with no problems. They told her not to waste money on commercial drain cleaners and just pour bleach once a month. Very polite, nice looking young men made it easy to hand over a hundred dollars. I concur with other reviewers- a 5 star operation.

We had a wonderful experience with Dennis Diffley Drain Services. We called Monday morning after our toilet backed up and they were there in an hour. Our cleanout cap was hidden and they had to go and get our property info and they still had everything done in a short time at a very reasonable price.

Very professional. They do good, reliable work at reasonable (although not spectacularly low) prices. They jackhammered up our basement, excavated our front yard, and replaced a blocked main drain line several years ago; we haven't had any problems since then.
