Wow Cleaning Services

Today I was walking at sparks marina around 9:30am. My friend and I walked to the bathroom and this cleaning company pulled up in a blue Toyota Rav 4 with the name of the cleaning company on the side. The woman saw we were walking to the bathroom, so she jumped out of her car and ran in front of us to the women's bathroom, almost hitting us as she cut us off.

She banged on the door and said "cleaning" like we weren't standing behind her. She looked right at us, with a cigarette in her mouth, and laughed. I almost just walked in anyway, but I was having a nice morning and wasn't in the mood to fight with some bully. She then stubbed her cigarette out on the building. She could have totally cleaned the men's bathroom first, but she meant to be disrespectful.

City of Sparks really should contract with someone who actually cleans the bathrooms (they do a horrible cleaning job which makes sense now seeing who cleans it) and doesn't bully their citizens just trying to use the bathroom. I will be contacting the city regarding this incident and suggest that they don't renew with such an unprofessional company that reflects poorly on the city. I will also be letting my friends know what happened, so they know to never use this company for their businesses since this is the type of people that they hire.

I had WOW clean the rental that I just moved out of. They did an amazing job. Eight years of grime washed away in a short period of time. Highly recommend them.

My mom being a widow and living by herself now, isn't really able to do the cleaning that she used to. I stopped in and met these ladies and thought I would give them a try. They extremely helpful in asking asking questions Bout the size of my moms place and other things to ensure they priced the job out correctly and knew about my moms needs. They came out for the first time and were amazing.

My mom was uncomfortable having strangers in her house, however she watched how professional the crew was and after they left was extremely happy and thankful for the job they did. I now have them scheduled on a regular basis. I can't thank them enough for the peace of mind they are giving me knowing my mom isn't getting down to clean her bathroom and floors anymore and that there are trustworthy professional ladies that are very detail orientated on the tasks. They were very cautious of my moms belongings and antiques. I strongly recommend these folks to anyone looking for a cleaning service.

I had been thinking about getting a maid or a house cleaner for my mom who is a widow and lives alone. I went in and spoke to the ladies at WOW in Sparks and everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I told them what my concerns were and they addressed all of them with genuine answers and not "fluff". It has now been two months since I signed up my moms apartment with them.

My mom was nervous at first having strangers in her house but the emotes that came were very friendly and understanding. The second month (Second service) one lady showed up I stead of 2 like the first time and the lady was so nice to my mom. My mom felt very comfortable with her. Based on the quality of work as well as the friendliness of each and e ery staff member I have come into contact with as well as the peace of mind I have knowing my mom isn't going to fall while trying to clean her shower are just some of the reasons I would recommend WOW Cleaning to anyone looking for a cleaning service. Thank you!

I would certainly question the ethics of this company. I own another cleaning company. All of us in this business share the same problem; finding good qualified people to work for us. This morning we arrived at the office and found that the Operations Supervisor of WOW had placed their business cards on every one of our logo'd cars. I wouldn't ever consider taking such tactics with another one of my competitors. You might want to keep this in mind when considering this company for cleaning your home.

This cleaning company doesn't even deserve a one star. They came to clean my house and I noticed a big stain on my carpet and they said it was water. The next day it was not water and I had to hire a carpet cleaner and he said It was not water, he doesnt know what it is and its been very hard to get out. I called wow cleaners and they denied it was them who did it. And now they won't call me back. What a horrible company who won't do the right thing, DO NOT USE THEM.

Horrible hiring skills and management. Was hired and sent to assignment 2 days in a row and was told I was not going to be able to work due to contract had been cancelled. Then the next week was sent to the same location and got to start work. I was not given time cards nor uniform tops. Was not informed about pay schedule. Payday was on 22nd of the month and 7th of the month.

I decided this was not for me I informed my hiring person and ask could my check be mailed to me. I was informed I could not get my check until uniform tops were returned I had to remind her that she never gave them to me and I had been reporting my time to her daily. She said she was told I had gone to the office and received my uniform tops and I had to remind her again that I never did recieve them.

She informed me that she would be happy to leave my check under a rock a at location I could pick it up.i said no please mail it she said ok. Then someone called from the main office and o was told do m.j or contact that person again about my pay to contact the office. I asked if she could please mail my check to me and she informed me it was mailed to me on Thursday October 21 2020.

Well in that case I should have recieved it by now. It is now Tuesday October 27 and i still have not recieved it. I live 4 miles max from the main office. No reason I shouldn't have recieved my check by now if it was mailed out according to office staff. Very unorganized and very unprofessional. Do not recommend them for employment or for services they offer.

Wow has been the best! They have been the cleaning service for the Veterans Guest House for over 10 years. Their employees are professional and detail oriented. They are here 5 days a week and the house looks fabulous! Thank you WOW!

Will never recommend this company. Every time I have made a phone call they are very unprofessional and rude. I had to call several times to have them fix the things that were not done as contractually stated in their services. It took a few weeks to get them to come back after one and only one time I used them. The employees I had encountered reeked of marijuana and alcohol, to each is their own but be more professional as I am the one paying to use your company. I was told by the office personnel they do not drug test their employees?!?!? I tried them once and will not use them again!

I was referred to Wow from Cleaning for a Reason because I have breast cancer. My bathrooms and kitchen look amazing. They were efficient and quick. Now I can go into my next chemotherapy treatment calm, knowing that my house is clean and sterile.

We were given a 12-1PM arrival time, and have not shown up 4 hours later. Completely hung us out to dry so I do not see a way to give anything but a 1/5. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time on a business that lies to you, and will not return phone calls. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I am sure any of their competitors would actually show up to the job they scheduled. I really can't find enough places on social media to warn people.

WOW cleaning has been our go-to cleaners for our office for almost a year now. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about their attention to detail, and the fantastic customer service we receive. My desk is organized and neat, but I do have quite a bit of memorabilia on it, and somehow they are able to clean everything, keyboards, monitors, phones, under the desk mat, and rearrange everything exactly how I left it.

There has not been a single time coming into the office after a cleaning that anything has been out of place, or left undone. Extremely satisfied, with the work they do, and the fact that they are green makes it that much better. Also, they always re-activate the alarm using the maintenance code, and its a big stress relief to know that the area is secured while/after they are done with the office.

We hired WOW Cleaning Services after we had a no call no show from another company. Not only was Michelle able to squeeze the entire new move clean right before a holiday weekend, the team did an amazing job.

I've been a customer for 2+ years in a single family home. I receive cleaning every other week. They do a great job and provide the service i'm looking for. Occasionally I call last minute for service outside my normal schedule and they've always been able to accommodate me. Before posting, I read through some of the reviews and saw a few negative. My guess, based on my experience, is those are isolated incidents. Keep up the good work.

I hired them for a monthly service four months ago. I should have cancelled after the first time. I left with my dogs for the afternoon when the housekeepers arrived and came back briefly to pick up something from my house. The housekeeper had put both of my dogs beds on top of my bed which I had just put fresh bedding on and was now covered in dog hair (naturally).

I called and asked Michelle to be sure this wouldn't happen again. The 2nd time they came to clean I was not thrilled with the service but didn't say anything. Month three, I came home to find that my whirlpool tub was JUST as dirty as it was before the housekeeper got there. I text Michelle my concerns and she had the housekeeper come back over to re-clean the tub.

I also noticed that my kitchen cabinets still had not been wiped down and my baseboards were not done. After looking at their website to be sure these services were included, I emailed Michelle who said cabinets were done every cleaning and baseboards every four months. I (foolishly in hindsight) gave them a fourth shot because I really liked that they were a "green" company and having been reassured by Michelle that they would "fix" things I wanted to give them a fair shot.

Service month four just came and baseboards have still not EVER been done. Not only that. but now my guest bathroom and bedroom had not even been TOUCHED. This time I called Michelle to let her know that unfortunately I would like to discontinue service and I explained why. I then said I wanted a partial refund due to the lack of work done, which I feel was more than fair considering the NUMEROUS complaints. Michelle text me and said she would have the housekeeper come back out.

I refused because at this point I was done and no longer wanted their service. She said she would issue me a 10% refund! I let her know that was not acceptable. Michelle said they "guarantee" their work. I guess by "guarantee" they mean they are willing to send someone back every time until they get it right. I then asked if she was the owner to which she did not respond and only said if I wouldn't allow them to come back and finish the work that was all she was "willing" to give me.

I asked again if she was the owner and if not that is who I would like to speak with. Michelle then said she could not give out his information but would give him my message. There are many other details (not answering my texts, last minute rescheduling of cleaning, etc.) but there are too many to list. I regrettably gave them way to many chances and would never recommend them to anyone!

I love WOW! I called in a panic needing to get my house cleaned the same day. I spoke with Michelle who was incredible and was able to help me out immediately! She is wonderful! I've used Wow several times and have had nothing but great experiences!

I have to say, Michelle was friendly and nice when I spoke with her. She seems extremely busy, and did not call me back when she said she would, so I did have to call to follow up with her regarding cleaning day and time. I had WOW come out to do a thorough cleaning of my home. They sent 4 girls and they were here for 2 hours which should have yielded great results.

I first asked what type of products they would be using on my stainless steel, wood and blinds. They had stainless steel cleaner, but for everything else they said they would use a multi-purpose cleaner. I asked them to use a damp rag with water only for my shutters and wood, as it's dust and any spray with chemicals will ruin them. Aside from moving super slowly through the house, (which would be great if they were really cleaning well) once they left, and I looked around, I saw many things that were not cleaned.

Master bedroom - one of the sidetables was not touched along with everything on it. Shelves in the master were not cleaned along with items on shelves. Shutters were not cleaned in several of the rooms, and nothing was moved when the wood floor was cleaned(chairs, hall rug etc). Barstools were not wiped off at all. Also, nothing was moved on the kitchen counters, toaster and coffee post was not wiped off. Needless to say, I had to clean after just paying several hundred dollars to have my house cleaned. Defeated the purpose of paying for a full service clean.

They do guarantee their work, but why would I want them back? I guess I should have looked at the reviews before having them clean, as my experience follows suit with the other reviews. This company really needs to train these girls.

Great customer service on the front end. Michelle was super friendly and even offered me $30 off my one-time cleaning. I was stoked. Then. The cleaners showed up ~ 25 mins early for my 9 a.m. appt. I had scheduled a 9:15 a.m. appt with the dog groomer so my dog wouldn't be home so I had to spend an extra 25 mins. out of work until his appt. Not a huge deal.

Since I wasn't going to be home at the completion of the cleaning, I left them a tip figuring they would deserve it. Mistake. I drove by my house on the way to pick-up my dog at 10:30 and the cleaners were already gone. Thought they must be amazing to get an, albeit small, house cleaned in 2 hrs. Well, they weren't and the house wasn't clean.

Please refer to pics. The floors were dirty (including footprints from one of the cleaners), hardly any of the surfaces were dusted (and some were actually dirtier than when I left),t hey were leaves on the floor. I could go on but you get the gist. I called Michelle and she said she'd send someone out right away. I emailed her the pics so she could see I wasn't exaggerating. 3 hrs. later, I hadn't heard anything so I called her back.

She said she had a cleaner spend another hour there. When I returned home, the house was indeed cleaner. Surfaces were dusted, floor spots removed (though there was still dirt behind the sink and toilet in the bathroom), counters wiped, etc. You could tell the cleaner was rushed because items were pushed around/knocked over. While I appreciate Michelle taking the time to send someone to re-clean the house, I hired them as a convenience to myself and it ended up being anything but that.

I spent over an hour of time outside of work and I feel cheated by the cleaners who thought the condition they left my house in was acceptable. I was hoping to find a service to use and recommend but this is definitely not the one.

I had Wow coming bi-weekly from June until two weeks ago. I was being charged $99/session. I had multiple complaints during my time with Wow. The house never felt clean, and I had to call to have them come fix things on many occasions. Baseboards, fans, blinds, etc were constantly not done. I have 3/4 hard wood in my home, and the final straw for me was coming home to my floors feeling grimy when I walked on them.

I pulled out my steam mop and only did the kitchen area and what came off was just unacceptable. I know for a fact that they weren't mopped that day, and I frankly question the last time they HAD been done properly. The staff (other than the office manager who is very friendly) was brusque and rude. They are supposed to call 20 mins prior to arriving and I've had girls show up on my doorstep before the time they were supposed to arrive, without calling first.

When I told them it'd be a few minutes for me to get me and my daughter out the door, I was rudely told "Well, I called, it's not my fault it didn't come through on your end." Just poor service. I have since found a new company who charges $25/less per week and who actually moves my things around to clean.

Tried them once when they sent me an offer just to try them out. Bad experience. Poor service, people who came to my house were people who I would not trust in my house, so I stayed. Several months later, I mistakenly decided to give them another try based on their whole "local, environmentally friendly" ads. I thought that maybe the first time had been a bad day for everyone. Bigger mistake!

Not worth the money even with the "offers" they are constantly sending. Very poor service, bad attitude all the way around. You get what you pay for, well sort of, you get far less than you paid for with WOW.

Bought 2 cleanings thru Groupon. First time - yuck. Two girls (one hour each equals a total of two hours) each spent 1 hour in each bathroom approx. 6 x 6 with a spritz bottle. That's it. Second time one girl came out - spent 2 hours & did it all. Great job. Got an additional three cleanings from Groupon as a gift & called again requesting same girl. Promised same girl girl & 9:30AM appt. 10:30 came & I called & was told I was being sent two different girls for one hour each and appt would be AFTER 9:30AM.

It is now 3:30 & still no show. I want the same girl and the same time each time. This is how you run a business. So far very disappointed & will go somewhere else for cleaning service. Hear "Cleaning 4 U" is great & very reasonable & doesn't pull that two people for 1 hour. You get 3 people for 2 hours extensive cleaning for $118. Jury still out on WOW but so far not impressed with WOW.

Horrible Horrible Horrible, just as others state below with bad experiences. First time customer and they screwed up twice. They never folowed through on their cleaning services, cut corners everywhere. After the first service they came out to do the second to fix the problems and again they cut corners only cleaned where they thought we would look. The owner is a jerk and her guarantee is nothing. She will not do the work to make it right and will not refund the money. DONT USE EVER!

I purchased 3 cleaning sessions through groupon because I have been looking for a quality maid service to some regular cleaning. Even at the discounted price I was ripped off. I schedule my first cleaning a month in advance the day before a party I was hosting. They did not show up. I called to complain and they sent someone in the next day. She was nice but very slow.

In two hours she cleaned my stove microwave and swiffered my kitchen floor and recleaned my immaculate bathroom, she didn't do what I asked so much as what she wanted and when we offered to pay for additional time so she could do the job we wanted she said no. Second cleaning was supposed to be the following month. They never showed up : Find another cleaner not worth the price not reliable

I'm really disappointed as I was trying to find a monthly cleaning service. Lisa and Amy were very nice, but ultimately they did not do a WOW job on cleaning the house. Several areas were missed including an entire bathroom and they did more of a surface cleaning than the deep cleaning package that I paid for. I have no problem paying their high fees for quality work, but I do have a problem when the services they list are not done properly or at all.

For example they did not clean around or under the trash cans in any of the bathrooms or kitchen, but did clean around the one in the laundry room. They did not close the door to clean the floor so the little dust bunnies that accumulate in the corners were still there. They did not vacuum the stairs, but I will say they did a terrific job vacuuming the furniture.

They did not wipe down the handles or fixtures as advertised in the Deluxe Plus Package. Dawn called me 2 days later for a follow up and I told her my feedback. She was very apologetic and offered for the staff to go back to the house for an additional 2 hours of work to reclean the areas that were missed as she requested that I give them another chance.

She gave the example that when you use WOW you should feel like you went to the spa for a day of pampering. When they came back to reclean they were over an hour late and I had to call to find out where they were. They showed up 30 minutes later and only stayed for an hour and 15 minutes-not the 2 hours that was promised. They did a very rushed job and still didn't vacuum any of the rugs (which they missed the first time around) and left many streaks on the kitchen appliances which I also asked to be recleaned.

I spent a lot of money to have a thorough deep cleaning according to WOW's package and am certainly not feeling like I spent the day being pampered at the spa! I would not use them or recommend them to anyone unless you want to pay a lot of money for lousy surface cleaning.

I called WOW two Saturdays ago to set up a cleaning on that next Sunday. I found the local business angle, environmentally product angle and clearly established business angle appealing. Even though WOW wasn't open on Saturday, they got back to me and after a few back and forths I was able to get a cleaning set up for Monday, prior to my mom's arrival.

It wasn't cheap, but I figured they'd do a bang-up job. I ordered a Deluxe cleaning in part because I wanted a few of the add-on services that I thought were a part of it which included interior window washing and dish cleaning. I also ordered the carpet and upholstery cleaning service as I inherited a large sectional couch that had a few trouble spots when I got it and upon which my cats spent a lot of time.

The estimate that I thought was pretty firm was $185 for all services after the $30 break for using the discount mentioned here on Yelp!. The two workers were scheduled to arrive at my place at 8:30 a.m. on Monday. Upon my arrival at 8:22 a.m. or so they were already there, giving me strange looks rather than offering me a customary greeting. I let them in and had them park in the better, more obvious spot, in front of the correct unit rather than my neighbor's unit.

My duplex was still fairly cluttered so I moved some items to accommodate the workers. Even still I suspect there was more with which to deal than they were accustomed. I worked to move many things to make things easier for the two ladies while they started on the two bathrooms. My place wasn't terribly unclean. While I have lived there a few months, I'm rarely home. I've done some cleaning and my cats leave hair about, but it's only so hard to clean that up. It's not like I'm the most interesting man in the world have a mountain lion as a pet.

Even though my place is something like 900 square feet, the ladies were unable to clean it in the anticipated time and I was told I would have to pay extra. They were done well before noon as I arrived around noon and they were long gone with only the nearly complete carpet/upholstery guy there. Dishes were put in a huge pile in the sink on the side with the garbage disposal.

All dirty still. Not fun to find that, but it was a lot less disappointing when I looked more closely at what's included. Some dirty dishes were also hastily put into the dishwasher. The liners were not all put into available trashcans. The workers did not attempt to contact me about the locations of the liners. That is listed as part of their service.

The place was obviously clean, but it didn't feel THAT clean. I feel like I could have easily done as good of a job myself, possibly in a similar amount of time as both women. One piece of upholstery was not cleaned. It was a large cushion that one uses to sit up in bed against a wall. I was told that because "I didn't provide instructions" that it hadn't been cleaned.

I asked about it later and was told it would cost $25 for gas and expense to come look at it and see if it was cleanable by the same method as the upholstery. So, to summarize: 1. It started expensively and they opted to charge me extra. 2. Some stated services were not performed. 3. It wasn't that impressive of a service. 4. In order to satisfy me, a first time customer, I would have to pay extra.

All in all, a very disappointing experience. No apologies, just "you didn't give us instruction" and "we're going to have to charge more because our workers are slow" and unfriendly, socially inept workers. I'll get a referral from someone else. I haven't worked extensively with them about resolving my issues, but they also haven't tried that hard to make sure I was satisfied so I'm comfortable giving this review without contacting them for a partial refund or explanation of their services. I would normally feel a sense of responsibility to give them a chance. With WOW, I feel like they already had a bit of a chance and didn't take it.
