Don't bring your clothes here. SPECIALLY IF YOUVE SPENT MONEY ON YOUR CLOTHES! I took about 15 shirts here because I didn't wanna shrink or ruin them, they made me sign a paper that the logo could fade but not that the will shrink. My husbands wear a large and 10 out of the 15 look as Medium size- all the shirts have been worn 2-4 times and not even four months old.
Most of the shirts are black and about 4 of them white. Some shirts say "wet cleaning" when they all should of been dry cleaned. And based on the reviews it won't even be worth taking them back to complain. This is HORRIBLE service. I will be looking for a new place to take the shirts since you guys basically ruined them. If I knew this was the case I would of washed them at home. First and last visit to zips

Ever since new management took over this place service has gone downhill. Employees don't know how to use the system and they make it 'your problem' when it overcharges you. Two employees couldn't figure it out the other day and basically wanted me to leave even though they charged me extra because they couldn't work the system. Finally just gave me cash, no 'sorry', nothing. Came back to pick up my clothes and same woman gets my clothes, scans them and hangs them up. No thank you, nothing. Terribly.

Under new ownership--- very sub-par to previous management. My last 2 orders have been late and my current is missing 3 shirts. Been back 3 times and they still have not found them. The store is critically under staffed and the employees are not trained and continually complain about how much work they have to do. This is a great concept, but the operations needs management with an ownership stake. The staff seem to be there just for a paycheck and it shows. This business is in a free fall and needs urgent attention before the brand is destroyed. P.S. I want my shirts!

Dropped off a business suit, which also serves as my uniform for work, a week from last Monday. It included a suit jacket, pants and a sweater vest. I understand that there was a "machine" issue at the Clearwater location. What I don't understand is how did I (finally) get my jacket and pants back, but no sweater? Oh and I was informed that they have 30 to 45 days to do something about it?
Meanwhile my bosses are asking me "where is the rest of my uniform" In my opinion, for a business to take your money before actually completing the service is strange within itself and now I am out of one of my garments. I wasn't offered any type of compensation or even an apology for my inconvenience either. Bad bad business Zips Dry Cleaners! There was a time when I would have referred you to my friends. Hope I hear something soon about my garment. Back to Morelli's I go!

The last thing is they lost two of my shirts and would not do anything. So if they are willing to lose customers then they really do not care about you or the things you drop off.
I would recommend against ever going. Three bad incidents and I'm out. We gave it chances but they have proven to be a horrible business! I would beware if you want to keep paying for clothes and other things for them to lose it and be rude to you then this is your place. Otherwise stay away!

I unfortunately had to give 1 star but I would rather like give a negative star. I took a sweater there that I only worn twice that is totally faded and it's shrunk. I can't even wear it anymore. It now looks like something that is not even a year old looks like it's 10 years old and weathered and I can tell they washed it but when I took it back and showed the manager she claimed it was not laundered but if you look at you can easily tell it has been. I feel even more insulted because I really think the people at this location think I can't tell the difference

My name is Mylea and I worked at this location for 4 months until I quit July 21. The maintenance here is subpar and there is no air conditioning available for the employees. At the main warehouse in Glen. Burnie the employees are sweating in upwards of 100° heat. One man even passed out. After he left they took 30 days to give him his final pay after 5 YEARS of working for Zips. FIVE. YEARS.
The Manager, Ronny Patwary, is A LIAR and tells us to lie to the customers regularly. He will do anything to avoid dealing with them directly and has told us in several instances to stall them or flat out lie to them about the damage caused to their garments or the lost garments that the warehouse.

I had some clothes laundered at Zips last week. Went through the bags today and realized that half the bag didn't belong to me. I called on 8/3 around 820 am and was told to call back at 1pm and speak with Lori. I called at 1pm to. Speak with Lori and was told she still wasn't in but to leave my information and she would call me once she arrived. Called at 530 and was told Lori had left workfor the day.

They are the "default" choice for laundering Business Shirts and our Dry Cleaning! Do your google-diligence, check the rates yourself! But I think you will find they privide equal or better service than competitors at notably better pricing! If you wear business shirts/blouses most days; Suits/or Sport Coat/Slacks; or maybe are a medical professional or in a uniform that needs to be clean and pressed, try them! For folks who need large or regular amounts of laundry and regular Dry Cleaning, it adds up. I dont see that you will lose service, but I think your wallet will thank you!

This place is ridiculous I dropped off my pants on May 13,2021 For them to be hemmed and those pairs of pants had a zipper the young lady looked at that told me be $20 I get a phone call almost a week later saying that I needed to pay another $20 because they realize that they had a zipper in them I asked the young lady if they could just go. ahead and repair them and I'll pay the $20 when I pick them up I do not live in town she stated OK when I went to go pick them up on the due date they never finished my pants I went in on May 15To pay the extra $20 today is May 26 and my pants are still not ready for service here is horrible and you can't get a straight answer We leave for vacation tomorrow at 6 AM and he does not have his pants thank you

Took my clothes in several times. The first few times were fine. The third and fourth times I had buttons fall off my items as soon as I tried them on after getting them back. The final time I took my shirts in I had stains appear on the sleeves of my French cuff shirts that were not there when I dropped them off. I talked to the owner about this and he said he would review the video and get back to me about it.
I waited several days and eventually went back to the store to check on my shirts as they don't pick up their phone. I was then told by the owner that there was nothing in their process that would have caused the stain and nothing could be done. No compensation or solution offered. Several ruined custom shirts. Will definitely not be back.

I took my King size comforter to Zips to be dry cleaned as I have in the past. This time it had an almost burnt smell to it and it was shrunk. It is now too small for the bed and the stuffing in some spots has been rearranged. We now need to buy another comforter. I will not be using ZIPS anymore. Also when I picked up I gave the girl the receipt to scan but said I needed it back because I had a note on the back I needed.
She wouldn't give it to me. I had to insist multiple times I needed the note on the back. It was quite ridiculous as half the time I don't have the ticket and they just ask for my phone number. I think they need some quality customer service training.

They did a good job cleaning my four two-piece dress suits, with a quick turnaround time, and at a rate that's much lower than any place else that I've been in Indianapolis. I may have just caught them on a bad day, but when I went to pick up they seemed a little disorganized. The service could be better, but that's a minor issue. They got the job done and they did it at a fair price and I highly recommend them.

What can I say, it's a Zips! It's the cheapest dry cleaning franchise in the DC metropolitan area, where their services can be a hit or a miss. Of the one's that I've gone to in Virginia, the Sterling location is where I've had more hits than misses. My clothes have come back clean and properly ironed (unlike other locations) and from my experience, their customer service has been good. That's pretty much all I have to say. It's a Zips!

This is a very nice cleaners. The owners seem genuine. My only complaint is they don't clean leather from what I was told by employee. Keep up the great work though guys! Also Victoria is one of the most professional people I have met in a long time. Emma should be glad that she has this young lady at this company. Keep up the great customer service Victoria!

I've been searching around for years for a dry cleaning company that does not charge an arm and a leg. This company does an amazing job and is incredibly prompt. You can have same day service for only 2.99 per item. Comforters are 19.99 and shirts laundered and pressed are only 1.99. Worth every penny and saves me so much time so in turn saves me a lot of money

I dropped off 5 items to be cleaned on the afternoon of February 11th. I stopped to pick them up on February 14th. There were only 4 items. I asked where my shirt was. The employee didn't even notice that one item was missing. She went to check on it. About 10 minutes later I was told that it couldn't be found and someone would call me. A few days later I received a call and was told that someone else was given my shirt.
I was told it would be returned right away. After a week I requested that Zips pay for my shirt since they had not returned it. I informed Zips that I did not want a shirt that had been used by someone else for that amount of time even if they got it back. It has now been 2 weeks since I gave my shirt to Zips. There has been no more correspondence from Zips and I have not received a check. I have used Zips in the past and not had a problem. This lack of concern on their part for just a shirt is totally unacceptable.

If I could give them zero stars I would. 90% of the time you get your clothes back without a problem. How they treat you the other 10% tells you what kind of company this is. I dropped off 22 shirts to get laundered. I got back 18 of mine 4 of someone else's. I explained my situation to Angie. She said she would research it and get back to me. 6 weeks later, after stopping by once a week, I finally got their conclusion that I was mistaken.

This is actually a review for Zips tailoring service. Candidly, this is the worse tailoring service I've ever used. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I've used their tailors 3 times and each time it was a poor job at best. Please find an alternative the next time you need a tailor. they literally struggle with replacing a button.

I know it's cliche', however, if I could give zero stars, I would have. I suppose I am partially to blame for electing to bring my garments to a third-rate "in and out" same-day operation. Anyone who expects quality should not be fooled into thinking a true dry cleaning process can be completed in 8 hours. After the 8 hours Zips was in possession of my suit, not only did the jacket look in poorer condition, I received 4 conflicting explanations as to why it was in the state it was in - all which were completely unsatisfactory, and made no effort at reconciliation.
I rejected their offer of store credit, as I have zero interest in doing business with this location or the company again. Particularly useless was the self-proclaimed owner, Mr. Vic Vago. It immediately became evident that he is exactly where he belongs - running an unsuccessful business. Mr. Vago seemed put off that he had to visit the front of the store in order to speak to a customer. Moreover, Mr. Vago was dismissive and unsympathetic to the needs of his clientele.
Bottom line, avoid this location. Proper dry cleaning takes time. I'm sorry, it does. Zips is the antithesis of quality. Zips in Sterling is cheap and unethical. And Zips, your representative need not reply with a mea culpa.

Don't go this place if you have no other to go. Really bad experience, they lost my sweater and keep tell me someone will call me three times and never call me in six month. Then they asked me to fill out two forms and still say the owner will call. still waiting for their call. I did leave my both home and cell number multiple times and also wait for the owner for 20 min and they never came out talk to me or give a call. Finally I received the check today.

I got my down feather comforter dry cleaned here for $19.99. The price was very competitive compared to other places that were asking for $40-$50. They returned the comforter to me nicely folded and packaged in a comforter bag. The multiple encounters that I've had with the staff have been positive. I will definitely be back!

This used to be a dry cleaning spot operating under a different name which I can't recall anymore, given that my dry cleaning trips are often sporadic through the year. I noticed one day it had changed to a Zips Dry cleaners and I did have dry cleaning so I thought well I'd check them out, not to mention I had coupons. I walk in and it wasn't too busy but even under the old business there was always at least 2-3 customers anytime I was there.
I provide the lady my stuff, and my coupon which she ignores but frankly I just wasn't in the mood to explain it given the paltry amount I'd save off the bill as she didn't speak good English, this I could tell when she asked me to write down my phone number as opposed to telling her my number. At any rate a few days later I returned to pick up my items which also included my wedding dress and my husband's wedding suit (brides keep in mind my dress was pretty simple with no beading or detail).
All was clean including the spot on my dress where I accidently stepped on it with my wedding Toms shoes. Also they do cleaning of comforters and duvets the pricing was pretty reasonable but off the top of my head now I cannot remember but they had it flashing on the TV monitors inside the store. I told my husband we should take our stuff there for cleaning although from the notice in the store those items take about a week. All in all a good experience for the most part, its convenient too and a lot cheaper than other places in the area.
