PayLess Affordable Carpet Cleaning has been saving Santa Barbara, Goleta, Isla Vista and Carpinteria Homeowners and Renters $$$ on professional carpet cleaning Since 1968. We are dedicated to providing high quality affordable carpet cleaning at a low price by eliminating unnecessary costs associated with professional carpet cleaning. Much of the cost associated with professional carpet cleaning are the basic things that must be done before the actual carpet cleaning can begin. For example: Pre-Vacuuming & Furniture Moving.

I recommend PayLess Affordable Cleaning Goleta to everybody who wants their carpet really clean. Michael came on time, clean the carpet very well and offered carpet protectors to wear on while the carpet is still wet, and blocks to put under the heavier furniture. He got rid of all the stubborn stains. I will use them time my carpet needs cleaning.

I have used PayLess affordable carpet cleaning for the last 4 years to clean my 2 bedroom apartment's beige carpets of normal wear and tear. I will no longer use this service due to its unreliability and mediocre results. Here's my experience with the service. Today they cancelled an appointment I made with them several weeks ago. They cancelled 30 minutes before the scheduled time, citing a co-worker that has been out all week (this is Thursday) and a longer than expected job in Lompoc. Prepping for a PayLess cleaning is a big deal--they ask you to pay in cash only, move all furniture to non-cleaning areas and pre-vacuum to-be-cleaned areas in order to qualify for their "special rate".
And of course, one must schedule time off from work. In my case, I had arranged to craigslist several items in the days before the cleaning and am now looking at a bare living room and bedroom that will fill up with new furniture deliveries in 2 days. Rescheduling a cleaning for next week, which is all PayLess offered for their last minute cancellation, is unattractive. Calling around to other cleaning services in the area, I was startled to discover that PayLess's $150 "special rate" appears to be standard for an apartment my size--and no other service I spoke to required that I pay in cash, move all furniture by myself before the visit or pre-vacuum in order to qualify for this $150 rate.
I feel stupid to have used Payless for years without seriously checking out their competition, especially since I found PayLess cleaning results to be mediocre. Immediately following a cleaning, my carpets look better, but this is very transitory. High-traffic areas in particular never completely lose a dirty brown appearance even immediately following the cleaning, indicating that dirt in the padding underneath the carpet has not been sucked out during the vacuuming phase.
They return to their pre-cleaning appearance within a few days. I saw that reviews of other cleaning services report better results, so I am hopeful that switching will not only save me from Payless's pre-cleaning requirements and inability to plan more than 30 minutes in advance, but will actually yield cleaner carpets.

I just used Payless Carpet Cleaning of Santa Barbara and was very pleased with how clean my carpet was after they finished. Payless had the best prices of all the Santa Barbara carpet cleaners that I called and they arrived on time and were very thorough. I just recomended Payless Carpet Cleaning to my brother who lives in Goleta. Thank you.
