I had been looking forward to this service for weeks. I'm currently 39 weeks pregnant and just cannot get down to clean my bathrooms or tile floors for that matter. We requested the Kitchen, Floors and Bathrooms clean and Sarah did an excellent job. I was using a gift card and had some extra time so she did a few other things that would've been impossible for me to complete. Total lifesaver, thank you Sarah!

We use maid affordable on a monthly basis- and I look forward to it every month! The office staff is great about reminding me of cleans, or helping to reschedule if my calendar gets full. The technicians that come are always so friendly, and very patient with my kids and dogs. The work they do consistently meets or exceeds my standards! I recommend them to anyone looking for help around the home!

We used this service pre-covid and were generally satisfied, but have been doing our own cleaning since summer of 2020. I had an illness and hospitalization in November and have been laid up for weeks, so I hired them to come for a deep clean, for which they bid $398. I asked how many hours that was, and they said it was "by the job." I reminded them that our house was big and difficult to clean with multiple surfaces, teenagers, pets, Saltillo tile, etc. -- it's not a "swiffer house." As a former customer, they should have known this in advance.
On Dec 10, one cleaner arrived around noon and started upstairs, 20 min later the second one arrived. She went to our master bathroom and stated that "you understand we have a time limit, right?" I said, no, that is not my understanding, according to what I was told, which is that it was by the job. For the record, the bathtub was already clean, the toilet was clean and there was nothing on the floor.
The shower glass was probably the biggest job. Nearly 2 hours later, she was still in the master bath and the upstairs cleaner was still upstairs. I was hearing very little activity, other than phone calls in Spanish. 2 hrs in, I finally hear a vacuum turn on. Then the upstairs lady comes down and they start speaking to each other under their breath in Spanish, one opened the microwave and rolled her eyes. Pic included of the "filthy" microwave.
Then the service called (I was about to call them, because it was obvious they didn't want to do the job). The guy on the phone said they weren't going to complete the job and that they could come back later to finish. I said it was fine as long as they did the big ticket items such as vacuuming, mopping and the kitchen, they could come back and do the baseboards and other details.
He said I misunderstood and that I would be charged for them to come back. I told him I would be fine with them not coming back if they could prioritize and guarantee at least the big ticket stuff before they left, but he said they couldn't compromise their quality. So I told him to send them home and that I would not be paying for the service, or they could stay and complete the job as agreed.
He opted to send them home and not bill me. So far they haven't tried to charge me. The cleaners and woman (owner?) who booked me on the phone were all courteous and professional, except for the guy who called me, who was a poor communicator and apparently doesn't understand what "by the job" or "customer service"means. What a sad, dumb way to lose a returning customer.

We used their service for a few months and have nothing but great things to say. They're super easy to communicate with, very punctual, and do a good job. We only canceled the service because we were being cheap and trying to save money, but if we were to use a cleaning service again we would happily go back to Maid Affordable.

I had a standard clean one week and a move out clean the following week. The price was very affordable and they left my home very clean. My move out inspection was quick and painless because of the hard work put in by maid affordable. The day I was scheduled for my regular clean, the cleaner was delayed on another appointment so they sent 2 cleaners to get everything done quickly and efficiently.
They let me know ahead of time that they were delayed and both cleaners did a fantastic job. For my move out clean, right at the end my building turned off the water and she was unable to fully finish the kitchen. She did the best she could with the supplies she had, let me know about it (I was moving a few more boxes to the new house), and offered to come back and finish if the Apartment management had any issues with how clean, or not, things were.
I let management know about the water during the move out inspection and they had no issue - also, everything was still really clean. I'm very satisfied with the service I received from maid affordable and will definitely use their services again.

I was blown away at how great my house looked. It had been years since it received such a thorough cleaning. I cannot express the amount of relief I felt. Between kids and my full time job, I just don't have the time or energy to devote to cleaning. That doesn't mean it doesn't bother me though! They did such a great job and I am so grateful for their hard work!

They were five stars up until this last clean. I wanted a deeper clean so went with their Checklist clean. I had previously done a Floor, kitchen, bathroom clean and they had done a really good job. The checklist clean came with a lot more though such as dusting and polishing furniture, dusting blinds, dusting vents, dusting ceiling fans, polishing all brass stuff in bathrooms etc.
It was double the price for the checklist clean and I was happy with the their Bathroom, Kitchen, Floor clean that I figured the more detailed clean would be worth it. However the service was not as good. Two different ladies came to clean this time and missed a bunch and had an attitude while there. They basically did a Floor, Kitchn, bathroom clean but I paid over double the price for it and they had an attitude.
I did call and they gave me a small discount but I still paid double when I should've just gone with the cheaper clean. Although, my husband says we should have asked for a full refund though haha and to go with a different cleaning service next time Changed to four stars- my mom was pretty upset after she reviewed the cameras. They were talking bad about our home and at one point said "how disgusting" when our cat ran out of the furniture because they scared him.
We also had to spend a lot of time cleaning up what was missed. They ended up waiving the whole clean which is why I changed to four stars but I'm honestly really embarrassed now after hearing what they were saying.

I'm so disappointed. I paid for the service where you make a list of priorities of what needs to be cleaned. The number one thing on my list was cleaning baseboards. We just had some remodeling done on our home so there's lots of dust. I also just had a baby so I was trying not to do it. They didn't clean the baseboards, they're still as dusty as ever. I'm so bummed. Now I either have to do it after just having a baby or I have to hire another agency to do it after paying maid affordable $270!

Unfortunately I can't give Maid Affordable a great rating. The maids who cleaned my house were great (Diana, Shay, & Nieves). The management, however, leaves something to be desired. There were no shows due to lack of communication between the management and the maids, the time was changed for my cleaning without informing me, etc. The folks that I talked to on the phone were great (Tabitha and Molly) but somewhere in the management. the system is broke.
Great pricing but you'd better not depend on them if you have an important event coming up or you're running an Airbnb business. If you do depend on them, be prepared to clean your place yourself when they don't show up.

My original cleaning warrants zero stars. The young woman sent to my house was sweet but did an incredibly bad job. I understand Maid Affordable cannot move furniture but their website states they will clean around. She hardly even did that. My floors didn't look clean whatsoever and she was inept at making beds. I left my duvet cover, duvet, sheets/pillowcases laying out on my bed for her.
She put the sheets and pillowcases on but laid my duvet cover over my duvet and left it there. Worst of all, I had her on an hourly basis. The stipulation of having an hourly cleaning means you must pay for at least 3 hours. There was a man waiting outside in her car waiting for her. I found that to be unacceptable and the management told me that's against their policy.
She stayed for 1 hour and 20 minutes out of the 3. At that point I just wanted her out of my home. Luckily their management team is great and responded to my complaints right away. They refunded the money and sent over a supervisor to inspect/fix the mistakes.

I started using this company in November 2016, they did a great job the first 2 months. After that it went down hill fast. The house didn't even smell clean, there was soap scum in the bathrooms and kitchen. I called to complain and they sent someone out to correct - this person couldn't find the key, so I rushed home in a panic and of course the key was there. They finally came in to correct and soap scum was still there. Very disappointed.

I got the dream clean - which is the best you can get. Our house was filthy! Meg and Jamie did a fabulous job on the baseboards, blinds and tubs! (Those were our trouble areas). The house looked and smelled fabulous! I will definitely be using them again for dream cleans and possibly re-occurring checklist cleans as well. Thanks!

Whoops, just saw that I never updated this review! Maid Affordable did an excellent job with my move-out clean, and both I and my incoming tenants were very pleased. So pleased, in fact, that I used them AGAIN two years later when putting my house on the market - this time coordinating from California! They are a very easy company with which to work, and I appreciate their quality service. I also highly recommend joining their email list, as they are constantly offering specials!

Heather did a wonderful job. I had the make ready package done before I put my house on the market and my house was spotless. I was home while she cleaned. She was very professional and I believe she went above and beyond. The job is usually done my two maids but only one was available on that particular Saturday. She really paid attention to detail and got the job done.

I called and scheduled housekeeping services back on November 10th. I waited for hours and no one showed. I called the company and they were apologetic, said that this sort of thing never happens and offered me an hour of service for free. I thought I'd give them another go because I understand that mistakes happen. I called them again on November 30 and scheduled them for December 15th.
I received a confirmation email. Again, they never bothered to show. When I called them long after their estimated TWO HOUR arrival time, they told me that someone should have called and that someone was on their way. I told them to forget it. Poor, poor customer service.

I cannot tell you how grateful I am that I found them! My house is incredibly clean, the service is top-notch, and their communications are amazing. I have never felt more cared for as a customer than I have with Maid Affordable. Meg is my go-to gal, but I have been pleased with the services I have gotten every time and I have even asked for extras. I would recommend them in a heartbeat, for they are truly the best!

Used these folks about 5 or 6 times. Plan on 3 hours $90. they provide a good basic cleaning. I find that the business is very polite and will try to please their costumers which are mainly in the Stone Oak area You will have to try a few cleaners until you find someone who fits with you, my issue is that the consistency of cleaning is sometimes off, and would reccomend being at the house the first few times so you can instruct them on how you like things done. It gets expensive after a while and had to stop after a while do to money issues

Stay away. For a few weeks they had an employee who did a fairly wonderful job on my apartment. She quit. Next cleaning their employee was a no show. gave them a second chance.cleaning turned outto be so/so at best. Icing on the cake was finding all of my dry cleaning in the washing machine with towels! Stay far, far away!
