I have used Michael and his team for a few years to clean our medical office; he has always provided excellent work. In addition, Michael is a great guy, professional and reliable - highly recommended. Came right on time, honored a special price deal with no hassle & were able to clean on very short notice (I called late Friday and the squeezed us in for the following Monday).

We know you care about the healthy environment and quality cleaning, so we use professional-strength products that reduces chemicals on surfaces and in your air, keeping your family safe and healthy. I purchased a voucher for Carpet Cleaning through Living Social. (3 rooms and a hallway). Called and made an appointment for the service to be done. Much better carpet cleaning experience than I had with Stanley Steemer a couple of years ago. There were a few noticeable stains on the carpet, and all of them were taken care of in this cleaning. I was satisfied with the results.

I can't explain any other reviewers experience but I can say Mike was the best carpet cleaning service I have ever used! He was helpful and explained everything he was doing. He took time with my carpets to get them as clean as possible and trust me my carpets were terrible. I truly thought I was going to have to replace my carpet but he brought new life into them.
I can't thank him enough! Yes, he doesn't drive a big commercial van, he's a one man outfit. That doesn't bother me because I want clean carpet and that's what Mike gave me for a very reason price! Again, thanks Mike!

Came right on time, honored a special price deal with no hassle & were able to clean on very short notice (I called late Friday and the squeezed us in for the following Monday). We have a small dog that's made quite a mess of the upstairs carpet and they were able to remove most of the stains (they even cleaned the carpet on the stairs which wasn't par of the special price deal- this was a pleasant surprise)! Michael was professional, punctual & got the job done. Would recommend Clean Home to anyone.

Not reliable! They were 3 hrs late for the scheduled cleaning service. Upon arrival they realized they brought the wrong cleaning supplies and had to reschedule for the next day. They did a partial job and have not returned any calls in explanation. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I purchased a local deal through Amazon and was lucky enough to get my money back. Buyer Beware!

Mike was very personable and explained what he was doing; however, he did not follow through with what we paid for. We paid $225 for a "deep steam cleaning, hot water extraction." (1) Our house was larger than what he expected and he charged more for that, which I agree with. However, later he mentioned that he was only supposed to be there for 3 hours, so he was not able to go much beyond that, even if it was what was required to adequately clean the carpets. (2) After Mike's initial inspection, he did not indicate that he would not be able to remove some stains along the baseboards from the previous owners of the home. Afterwards he basically told us tough-luck, try using Resolve and scrubbing hard. (3) The carpet barely looked cleaner than before he cleaned them.
We borrow a Bisell steam cleaner from a friend and that $150 cleaner pulled out so much more dirt from the floors. (4) Mike says he stands by his work but did not make any concessions for us being dissatisfied with his work. After talking to him on the phone, he actually got very ugly with me and was not willing to discuss how we could resolve this issue. Coming out to inspect the carpets would have been a good first step.
I would not recommend Clean Homes NC for home carpet cleaning services. I would, however, recommend paying $50 for a Rug doctor and come cleaner or even purchasing a new carpet cleaner (one that you can keep after you have spent $225).

Right off the bat: we are a normal suburban family living in a small 3-bedroom home. Our house is not located on a Color Run route and we do not hold mud wrestling matches in our living room. We have two dogs that, over time, track mud into the house, which is why we get them cleaned every 3-4 months. Despite this, we managed to have one of the most bizarre and unprofessional experiences with Mike from Clean Home Carpet Cleaning.
We made an appointment with Mike to clean our carpets last week. My boyfriend took time off work to be there and moved furniture to get the place ready. The problems started as soon as Mike arrived. First he showed up in a minivan (not a professional carpet cleaning van) and said he needed to hook up to our water faucet. Then he walked through the house mumbling about how the carpets were "really dirty" and how it was going to take him a long time to do it.
Since we had booked him at a discounted rate through Amazon deals, my boyfriend figured he wanted more money. We were MORE than willing to offer him more money because he was already there and we just wanted to get this over with. Despite our offer, Mike refused to do the job without so much as an apology. He just kept saying it would take him too long and he "didn't want to".
He seemed completely uninterested in doing the job that he supposedly gets paid to do. He also became incredibly sarcastic when my boyfriend just asked him to leave our house. We now have to waste time trying to get a refund through Amazon, since the voucher was pre-paid, then more time trying to book a legitimate carpet cleaning business. Perhaps Mike thought that only people with clean carpets would buy his voucher off Amazon.
I guess just like restaurants hope to sell vouchers to people not interested in eating there or dog walkers hope to sell vouchers to people with no pets. (Or, not.) Since then, we had our carpets cleaned. It took the guy 3 hours and they look beautiful. I would urge you to look past Mike's advertised "good deals" and consider giving your money to a business owner that takes pride in his job, follows through on his word, and actually gives two craps about his customers.

My landlord required me to get my carpets professionally cleaned before I moved out of my apartment. I called Clean Home NC at the last second with a Living Social deal, and they squeezed me in with no problem (even though they were already overbooked on their quota for Living Social deals that week). The carpets truly look great, which is saying a lot for dingy old apartment carpeting circa 1990. Fully refunded deposit, here I come!

Make sure you ask 50 questions before you deal with them. Bought a deal from them for 3 rooms and a hallway up to 500 square feet. Turns out all 3 and the hall would be well over that, so we figure no big deal we can do the 2 rooms and a hall and one area, one square foot in the 3rd bedroom and we'll still be getting a deal. But no, their policy is no spot treatments what so ever.
So either we get only the 2 bedrooms and the hallway cleaned or add the 3rd one for another 50 bucks. This was not in the fine print nor was it explained to me when I scheduled the service. Shady.
