We Clean Carpet

I have been getting my carpet cleaned by We Clean Carpet for years. The last couple years the quality of service has gone down. This year was the absolute worse! They scheduled me for one day, didn't show and didn't answer the phone. Eventually some one answered the phone and lied about the date they were supposed to come out. Fortunately, they sent me a text with the exact time and date they were supposed to come out, so I had proof of their mistake.

No apology or accommodations were offered and they still tried to blame me for their mistake. To add insult to injury, the service guy did a bad job of cleaning the carpet. I paid for extra services, but the technician finished in under 30 minutes. After the carpet dried, there was very little change in how the carpet looked. I get my carpet cleaned 1 to 2 times a year to keep it fresh, clean and free from dust buildup. Needless to say, I will be going with another company next year.

NEVER. EVER. GO. WITH. THIS. COMPANY. FOR. YOUR. CARPETS! They ruined our carpet and had no decency or courtesy to be professional in the process of fixing it. I think that they a a temp company. They have individual contractors that do sloppy jobs and you will not find a person to complain to until you go back online and schedule an appointment. There's no to talk to when problem arises!

Stay as far away as possible. They will over charge you when the come to your home and leave your carpet stained and soaking wet for about a week! They shouldn't be in business!

I hired this company because I loved their website and how easy it was to get the work scheduled. You could pick the rooms, the date, the price, and be done in three minutes. I scheduled for the work to be done on a Monday at 10 AM and the guy showed up on time. I expected this to happen, but the quote they give you online and what they recommend when they show up at your house are two different things.

Online you schedule the basic cleaning but the guy who came recommended deeper cleanings on the stairs and in heavily trafficked rooms. That's an additional $20-40 per room. I ended up paying more than what was quoted online, but I approved those purchases and it was still cheaper than any other quote I got! The machine that cleans the carpet is loud - so don't plan to be on a conference call at the same time they are cleaning your carpets. (Apologies to my husband!) A kind and hard working man who drives truck four did my carpet - I highly recommend him! Overall, I'm happy with the work this company did!

Not impressed. They were an hour late, and I was hung up on like 5 times while trying to figure out what was going on. The dispatcher was very polite once he got on the phone and explained that their lines were down. The customer service from the dispatcher was amazing which is why I didn't give them one star. We had a big black mark in one of our rooms downstairs (we don't know what from as someone else used to live in that room) they came by and soaked our rugs and vacuumed up the water. when asked why the mark didn't come out, we were told there is no guarantee unless we upgraded.

Even with the upgrade they couldn't guarantee the spot would be removed. I was annoyed and did a cold water vinegar baking soda soak and the mark came up after 5 minutes.

I used We Clean Carpet just to get a 5 x 7 rug cleaned. When the rep arrived he said (instead of the $49.50 I saw on line) that it would be $150 because I had a rug that said it should be dry cleaned and, in order to do that, he had to put chemicals on it and said water could harm the carpet. I told him I could buy a new rug for that and then he went down to $99 plus tax.

I again told him no that he could just do the basic cleaning and he said he could not guarantee that it wouldn't ruin the rug. He did the basic (sort of) and charged me an additional $10 for "other areas" that I found on the bill after he left. I used a friends small carpet cleaner and we got tons of more dirty water out of the carpet. I called to say he didn't do a very good job and wondered what the additional $10 was for and David A. gave me an earful!

He was extremely rude, would not answer a direct question and then I find out they were video-recording me without my consent or knowledge!. I called a lawyer and found out that Minnesota is a 1 party recording state and only one party needs to know that something is being recorded! I was very upset to find that out. He said he would send me a copy of the recording and when I didn't get it I called back and he told me he wasn't going to send me "squat" and to "stop calling him", that "they didn't want me for a client" and that I was a "lunatic! He was AWFUL! NEVER, NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. Has an "F" rating with the BBB also. Wish I had been smart enough to read the yelp reviews before hiring them.

SCAM! (A review from my husband who does not have Yelp): Let me first start by saying I only purchased the basic package for my area rug, a couch & a chair. I was looking to have basic stains removed. Our tech called right away in the morning asking if he could come 2 hours earlier than we scheduled - fine. Once he arrived, he immediately tried to upsell me into a package that was $300 more than what I purchased!

I declined. He began his work, telling me it would take 30-45 minutes. From the time he hooked up & started, it took him 10 total minutes. All he did was sprayed the rug & couch, did a once over with the wand & sucked it up. None of the most basic of stains were removed. On his way out, he left big gouges in my wall. I brought it up to him & he tried to deny it but later said he would come back & spackle - no thanks, he did enough damage.

I asked for a partial refund due to the wrecked wall & lack of stain removal & he said "I can't do that, these are tough times." After the furniture & rug dried, my wife bought a bottle of Folex. She sprayed, did some minor scrubbing, blotting & our furniture looks brand new! DO NOT USE WE CLEAN CARPET!

We Clean came to clean and first person who came asked us to updgrade the cleaning services to upholstered chairs and one area rug. I declined because of cost. In basic service it took him over 30 minutes to clean first chair and chair looks brand new and second chair it took him 7 minutes and when requested to atleast get the visble spots he mentioned about not updgradimg the service and on 8X10 area rug he spent only 3 minutes and again gave same reason.

When we called company same person who came for service said he is the manager and said lot of people dont get satisfied from their service because people expect alot but I was just asking to removing basic duct and normal wear tear visible marks. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

I got quoted with a different price. 294 for 2 rooms stairway plus living room. The stairway is not completely cleaned I could've done a better job if I would done myself. I'm very disappointed.

Very unsatisfactory work and marginal customer service. They weren't very good at cleaning carpets/rugs but were really good at trying to sell upgraded service, leaving water all over my house and did some damage to the finish on my wood floors. As soon as the technician walked in he was selling us on upgraded "deep clean"service. Isn't that what they are supposed to do, deep clean carpets?

Why do I need to upgrade? Then they tried to sell us on a special urine removal service when there was no urine on the carpet. When I called the service manager to explain they seemed nice and willing to help. The service manager said he was coming out between 1-3, shortly after called and asked if they could come out between 3-5. The service manager did not come as he indicated but sent the original technician out, whose response was to do the work again even though, as he said, that would do nothing. I refused the "redo" because i didn't want to clean up after them again and risk further damage to my floors.

I regretfully called the business and scheduled an appointment. First of all, they came 45 late and then the first thing was that they tried to upsell stating that the tile needs manual deep cleaning. When I asked for a quote, there was nothing said about options and the possibility that the quoted price may go up. This business is a SCAM! Do not use this business.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I asked them to clean ONE area rug and he was only here for TEN MINUTES before he rushed out. The rug looks exactly the same and some spots are completely dry. He had a terrible attitude and wouldn't explain anything to me about the process. Also, he didn't even cover up his shoes when he came in. There's literally a pandemic going around and he walked around my whole apartment with his shoes on.

They made me pay beforehand and didn't even explain to me that to get a receipt, I have to enter my email. I never got a receipt and I'm VERY disappointed. DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE!

I have the carpet clean with warranty called them back because of his shitty work. can get a whole of them finally appt was set for a redone. never show up makes another appt. then the tecnician told me that was not his problem and he dont want to do it for free. told me that my warranty were voided because no one answered my called. dont use this people they can sell and their words of warrantty suppossed to be great but if you dont buy the service then they said we are cheaped.

SCAM ALERT, SCAM ALERT.We called and scheduled an appointment with this company. They were eager to arrive the next day and gave us a quote. After they arrived they changed their pricing and told us we had to pay more or they will give us basic wash (just water the carpet and thats it). They asked for payment upfront and charged us right away before they started the cleaning job.

The office staff are unprofessional and do not answer customer calls. They were rude and scamming. They took our money and never cleaned our carpet. If i could i would give them no stars at all. This by far is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. We will pursue to get our money back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

They have terrible customer service and very unprofessional. Do not pay them in advance. They failed to complete the job and still took our money. Find another company don't waste your money and time on this guys.

We closed on a house and wanted the carpets cleaned before moving in. Scheduled over a week in advance for 3-5 the day of closing. No mention of 3 to 5 being a window. Thought it was the cleaning time. Wasted two hrs waiting in an empty house for them to show up. At about 3:30 we called and the person who answered said they were "just finishing up." Tried to call to see what was happening and from 4:00 on only got the answering machine.

At 5 left hearing nothing from them. Now I get to live with the previous owners' dog's hair under the stuff we're moving in. Thanks We Clean Carpet for wasting my time on a day I didn't have much to give. Update: tech called at 5:15 after we'd left late. I told them to forget it. Update 2: They called to reschedule a couple days later.

No human left a message, but sent a text to reschedule. (No thanks). Called to be taken off the list and to explain why. As soon as they heard I don't want to be called they hung up on me. Worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Please be WARNED this is an awful company. Please read the reviews from Better Business Bureau also. We Clean Carpets and they also go by We Clean Carpets World Wide. They also have 3 or more numbers that are different. They tell you a price but once they get there they charge you double if not triple. They use a machine that have to use your electricity and your water I was told he could only clean a 10 foot area because that's all my electrical cord wood reach oh, you think being a professional he would have accommodations for that.

I was quoted $70 and was charged a $176.06. the surface tech seriously only had on his machine for five minutes to clean a 18 x 15 room I went down there to check his work there was still areas he didn't even touch areas that were dry and I suppose that was due to his lack of extension cord and the middle area was so soaking wet it was like a pale was dumped on my carpet.

He told me it would take up to 10 to 24 hours to dry I asked him about the stains in the carpet still looking dirty and he said once it dries it'll look a lot better. 2/21/20. please read all the reviews at Better Business Bureau and on here as you will find all of our stories are the same you will never get ahold of them again after they take your money and leave.

We Clean Carpets did a fine and quick job for what I needed (apartment move-out carpet clean), but I was disappointed that the man who cleaned my carpets, Alex, pushed me into upgrading my cleaning package. I only needed a receipt basically to show my landlord that my carpets were cleaned, but Alex scared me into paying for a higher cleaning package because he said if I didn't select it my landlord might not accept the receipt and I would have to pay for them to come back.

It cost me an extra $50! I have a tiny 1-bedroom and my bill was $123 when I expected it to be $70. He took advantage of the situation and used unfair fear tactics to upsell and I wish We Clean Carpets would have been more honest and upright with their pricing from the start. I would not use them again.

DO NOT USE _ WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER - I'd leave a negative stars review if I could. I made an appointment, received a confirmation and then they never called or showed up after I had made arrangements. When I tried to call and determine if they were just running behind I just fell into a cycle of voicemail and hold (that is apparently automated). Everyone was out of the office and unreachable by 330p. Horrible customer service! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Jackie

I feel harassed by the manager repeatedly calling and texting me in regards to my negative review. They no-called, no-showed. Tried to call them up during business hours, and it went directly to voicemail. They called 2 to 3 hours after they were supposed to show up and said I'd get a discount to make up for it. I did not.
