In 2020, the commercial property I own in Canyon Country suffered a major fire. I'd never experienced anything like this before, and to say it was traumatic would be an understatement. I live 100 miles away from its location, and unfortunately there was absolutely no way I could get there quickly, "secure" the building, etc. Thankfully BluSky was somehow made aware of the situation within hours of it happening, and they were able to do the job swiftly and smoothly.

In hindsight, I wish I would have immediately just hired them to complete the restoration project. Unfortunately I was persuaded by someone at my insurance company to go with a different contractor who ended up being extremely problematic, and he stalled the project for months. I ended up firing him, and putting the restoration project in BluSky's hands (where in hindsight I wish I would have from the beginning). BluSky's Daniel Carrillo and Armando Lopez have been the best people I could possibly ask for in dealing with the enormous, detailed task they had to take on.

I can't recommend them highly enough. Always very friendly, great communicating, and they made a very difficult situation much, much smoother for me. Take my word for it - If by chance you find yourself in a similar position as I've been in, call BluSky immediately, and don't waste your time with anyone else. From the beginning to the end, they've come through just wonderfully.

Robert and Matthew on property were fantastic! Shawn was also great. They got us up and running 3 weeks to the day after the Marshall fire. Always were in contact, and making sure we were up to date and all questions were addressed in a timely manner. We are the first property open in our area. Thank you so much from our team. Christian is by far the most responsive and transparent representatives for BLUSKY. I can see why this company has such a phenomenal rating. Christian and Ron have not only devoted their efforts but personal time to make sure our experience and repair with BLUSKY is more than spectacular. This company is lucky to have an employee such as Christian.

He works within budget and can "handle those adjusters for you". Nothing bit 110% satifaction.woth customer service and repair. Will be using BLUSKY for future work as long as Christian is there and Ron thankless our repairs. If only there were a rating above 5 stars. these.guys deserve 10+ stars.

Christian & Cherisa have been wonderful to work with, I have trusted them with my home and family and they did not disappoint. I was struggling by making headway with my home insurance to get my home repaired. Christian and team stepped in and got the stagnant ball rolling and have restored the beauty of my home effortlessly. SAVED US THOUSANDS IN REPAIRS! We had a pipe burst a couple of weeks ago and found ourselves with a lot of water in our basement. We already had a clean up crew at the house but I wanted a second opinion/bid for the water clean up/dry out. I called Shawn over at BluSky to see if he could come out and take a look. Not only did he make it out to our house within an hour, he told us we could do the work ourselves!

No trying to out bid the other company or bad mouth them, just honest feedback to my husband and I. Really appreciate the time he took to walk through the damage and help us better understand the issue. The other company wanted to change us over $2000. Without a doubt, we will call BluSky the next time we have an issue!

If I could give BluSky 10 stars I would. My neighbor had slab leak so BluSky was called out by my HOA and I am so very thankful for all their hard work to help the start of my repairs. From the initial visit with Richard and Matt I was impressed. They were very professional and very sympathetic to my situation. Craig & Mason came and managed the process for the start of the project and they were so awesome and worked so well with my other neighbors that were effected by the slab leak as well.

I have to make special note to say thank you to Mason who went over and above to help me and I am very grateful to have had his help. BluSky is an amazing company with hard working, caring, sympathetic individuals who get the job done in a time of crisis. I highly recommend them.

Steve Warren, Christian Brown, Todd Hulme, these gentlemen right are my Dream Team for all of my repair needs. I have a medium sized portfolio of HOA communities, and all i have to do is call, and they are there, always on time, always professional, always courteous and respectful to my owners. Weekly communications all the way through completion. Highest quality work, prices maybe higher, but then you get what you pay for, for me that is peace of mind, I know that my job is getting done correctly, i don't have to babysit them, I can carry on with my duties and responsibilities. Very professional. From the start of the project through its completion they communicated every step of the way. They worked directly with our insurance adjuster and made the whole process very easy. Kept us updated on progress and any changes to the scope as soon as they came up. They worked to keep costs as low as possible and did not add on any additional unnecessary work. Great work quality and very clean. Would highly recommend and use again.

We experienced a flood in our home while we were out of town. Upon our return, we called BluSky and within hours they were at our doorstep to assist with cleanup and mitigation of the damage. They were professional, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient, making a highly stressful situation manageable by their concern and competence. Since then, they have assisted us every step of the way with the handling of our insurance claim, working directly with our adjuster and providing valuable insight and advice to us. After looking at the work and it being subpar I am making John come back to make some repairs. He is now to Re-Square the wall where the closet doors come to a close. He will also fix the floors. The work should be completed no later than Friday. I am EXTRENLY disappointed with John's company. Melodie and I have come to the conclusion that we will not recommend John's company for 939.

I would write a review if I were you. I have never had an unsatisfied client in my time at this company, but I have also have never taken on a job where someone has already started the work. Tom I think the problem was when we showed up to this job, closet was out, plaster had been removed, floors were covered and we were starting in a plastic bubble.

I had no idea what anything was prior to the work 939 started. We didn't even know there was a closet there. And this is 100% my fault for not researching the job prior to. I should have removed all the plastic and floor covering to see what we were working with. I should have known better. I will own up to the damage that we caused in the "hallway" as we had discussed.

And Tom I truly apologize for your frustration and the sub satisfactory work performed. I have definitely learned from this one. Thank you Tom John Project Director BluSky Restoration Contractors, LLC * 455 54th Street, Suite 101, San Diego, CA 92114 -------------------------------------------------- (3) i think John is a good person to work with, but things happened that show a lack of project management. examples:. when the closet was restored, the door would not close. the rebuilt wall was crooked (not a straight line). the wood floor was chipped and gouged during remediation and restoration. damage was done to a wall that John's subcontractors could not fix at the time given the limited access they had to part of the apartment, but surprisingly John did not know about the damage, his subcontractor did not inform him.

Even though my HOA says they will not work with John/BluSKy again, John indicates he will still return (after the pandemic, my request to wait until the pandemic ends) to fix the wall his team damaged during remediation/restoration. That would demonstrate a desire to make things right, and i'll update this review accordingly.

I am a Portfolio Manager for a Commercial Property Management firm with 17 buildings in Southern California. Blusky is my absolute go-to vendor for any issues relating to IAQ, water damage, remediation, hazmat, etc. They are by far the industry leader in knowledge, education and customer service. Their response time is immediate. Once you open a work order with them you immediately get a team of experts to help you plan, schedule and execute what ever issue you are dealing with.

There is never any question or doubt on what exactly is happening, step by step. They provide amazing daily reports with photos, equipment readings, etc. Their attention to detail in their reporting procedures has kept my firm out of court in many instances. They are by far the best restoration company I have used over my 20 year career. Kudos to Jeff Koscher, Jeff Swenson, Mike Princi and Tom Henley. They are the Dream Team!

BluSky Santa Clarita, CA. Has proven to be terrible. When you need help the most, I feel that's when BluSky takes advantage of you. My elderly parent had the unfortunate experience of dealing with BluSky. Their coordinator was very good, responsive and informative. It wasn't until we were introduced to the contractor of BluSky Santa Clarita. At first week, seemed to go well, then downhill from there. Absolutely horrible!

A flood is not always the best way to start your week after Labor Day weekend of 2020 especially during our current world pandemic. We are located at the World Trade Center in Long Beach, Ca. and are surrounded by infants through preschoolers as our business is a Private Preschool. Our first worry was, "will the renovators be understanding, thorough and professional?" We met Jack and Abraham from Blusky and there was immediate relief due to their kindness and professionalism.

They walked through the school and explained the process of bringing back our center back to normal. The damage included: a classroom, a hallway, front office walls, and a restroom. Blusky had fans going 24/7 to minimize the damage. The customer service Blusky provided was exceptional. The direction they gave their crew met our expectations with that being said, their crew was outstanding!

They constantly checked on our needs and their crew's process. Their friendly demeanor allowed comfort to interact with them. The crew worked around our business hours and had the student's interest at heart. The final result left our center back to its original state if not better. Thank you, Jack, Abraham, Alex and company for your constant support throughout out the water damage. Like our kids would say.you rock!

I use BlueSky frequently for my water intrusion and remediation issues often for my small and large office buildings. They are able to provide quick and timely service when we have building emergencies. The pricing is reasonable and competitive. The customer service is always impeccable. I know that I can count on any of the BluSky team to assist with any of our building needs. My engineers also prefer to use BluSky to any other company around.

Terrible! They took advantage of us at our weakest. We had a house fire which required virtually the entire house needing to be rebuilt. Well Over $500 k in repairs. They did an extra $120,000 of work that was not on the original scope estimate. They did this without getting prior authorization from insurance! The manager (Patrick) even asked me how much I thought the insurance company would pay of it clearly indicating he knew they would not pay all of that.

Then they put a lien on the house we had to pay before we could sell the home. All very unethical and immoral. Taking advantage of a family who has just lost their home. A lot of their work was also subpar. We had to constantly monitor any work that they did. Something as simple as putting railing up for a staircase seem to be beyond their knowledge. They had to redo it multiple times.

We experienced a large fire that destroyed 5 commercial buildings. Shortly after the fire, we hired BluSky to assist with the settlement negotiations with our insurance carrier and ultimately rebuild our damaged structure. BluSky's project manager and superintendent were able to successfully scope the repairs, agree to a settlement with the carrier, worked hand in hand with the design team, and rebuild a new, beautiful block structure from the ground up. The BluSky team lived up to their promises and delivered with professionalism and integrity. I would highly recommend BluSky for any of your restoration needs!

I dealt with Brian at Harbro after a fire destroyed our building and he and his team, especially David, were wonderful. They did an excellent job with the restoration, coordinated with my insurer, adjuster, inspectors, and tenant, and finished the job within one day of the initial estimate even during the COVID shutdowns. Brian made an otherwise stressful experience as painless as possible and was an absolutely pleasure to work with.

If I could give them negative stars I would. We had a fire and they assured us they were pros and could do everything. First, they put 3 neighbors on the same permit. This meant that none of us could move in until we ALL cleared inspections. Work was not attempted for months on my unit. Meanwhile I am in an Airbnb month to month. Finally nearly a year later my condo didn't pass inspections because there were problems with my neighbor's condo.

I finally did move back in and black spots began to pop out of the walls like ghosts. I asked if my walls were primed and they said yes. I pressed them on the issue after being assured by multiple other contractors the walls weren't primed. Harbro said "it wasn't in their scope of work". So you lied about it and then this is your excuse?!

At this point we would have to move everything we have moved in back into a storage space, find a place to live for at least a couple weeks while our place is primed and repainted. Then we have to move everything back in! This would cost us 25k+ and Harbro refuses to take responsibility for this. They said they would come back and do the work again.

Sorry no! The painting you did in the first place is all over. They said they hired a company that wasn't used to doing anything other than new construction. Wow so we just have paint all over our molding, floors, beams, and everywhere else. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS! The work I tried to get them to do after I moved back in was lackluster and took weeks to even get someone out. Also, every time they sent a guy out to fix something he would mess something else up For example: screen was bent: He fixed bent screen, but now screen has hole in it.

Install sliding door: door scratched and holes in shutters and frame for shutters an inch away from wall. I have too many examples to mention, but have pictures of all of it. If you have fallen for these guys take pictures of all of it! I am filing a complaint with the state licensing board and taking them to court. Please do not make the same mistake as I did!

Its unfortunate seeing the negative reviews on here. But it's always easier to leave a review after a less than great experience. My experience with Harbro has been nothing short of amazing. They handle dozens of losses for us every year and we couldn't appreciate the partnership more. The team is great and pricing is fair. I would definitely recommend Harbro.

Wow! Surprised to read all these negative reviews. But in the industry, nobody writes rave reviews for vendors. Har-bro is not cheap but they get the worst of the worst jobs taken care of quick and efficiently, especially when they are those nightmare scenarios. They provide time saving documentation and always outshine other vendors that provide similar services.

I manage about 300 units in SF and the team is always professional, on time, and thorough. They are not cheap but they are the ones who get the job done. Every time I have cheaped out to save on the budget, I have regretted it but I've never regretted using HB. You get what you pay for. But that bill tho.

How many things can one company do wrong? If you are already stressed and in need of major home repair look elsewhere - this company is a scam. I base my opinion on my experiences with Harbro and my experiences with other contractors as I grew up with parents that professionally flip houses for a living in Florida. Here is a short excerpt from my experience with them: - pipe bursts in our condo On our wedding day.

These guys are recommended by our HOA. We interview two contractors these guys and someone else. These guys say they will have it done in a month will include in the costs moving our furniture out (the entire kitchen and main floor needed to be redone) along with a lot of other shiny promises. We choose them. Commence huge mistake. - they do NOT watch their subcontractors - who damaged our walls, my designer shoes, ruined our deck with paint and trash, and who generally did a crappy job.

They put the wrong knobs on our new cabinets, used our toilet without asking permission, and would not move our furniture despite them promising this service was part of the deal. The furniture they did move? They put outside under an Australian pine tree for 2-3 days. Covered in sap and pollen to this day. Also to be fair they knocked a few dollars off our bill for this - but let's be real not enough to compensate for all the damage they cause or the headache of us having to fight tooth and nail. - we had to cover our house in hundreds of pieces of blue tape to make them see the mistakes. - three months later yes three whole months!

We finally move back in. Things are still not right but we can't make these people be honest and fair and correct their subcontractors mistakes. It's not our fault you hired a cheap and crappy subcontractor then didn't supervise them and paid them before you inspected their work so now you don't want to pay. - I won't get into the mechanics Lien they put on our house and mistakenly tried to pursue an auction of our home despite us paying them in full!

Now today, 3 months after moving in? Our brand new expensive countertops are separating from the walls. And, surprise, Alex our contractor won't call me back. If I could give zero stars I would. If after reading this you are still unsure PM me and I'll invite you into our home to see their subpar and pathetic work.
