Interior Maintenance Company, Inc. (IMC) was founded in 1973 by Charles and Maria Mongiello to provide quality contract cleaning services for commercial facilities. Joined by sons Chuck in 1986 and Matt in 1990, IMC remains a family owned and operated business employing over ninety individuals. Over the years, IMC has grown and evolved into one of the premier facility maintenance organizations in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Since joining the family business in 1982, Chuck Mongiello Jr. has been responsible for training and management of over 100 employees per year, as well as supervision of commercial building maintenance contracts in excess of one million square feet. Chuck has managed more than 2,000 commercial and industrial projects involving air duct cleaning, microbial remediation and fire/water damage restoration.
International Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Association (IKECA) member since 2006. IKECA is a leader in educating its members about safety, cleaning techniques and many other areas. Since its inception, IKECA, a not-for-profit trade association, has established stringent Standards & Practices for contractors engaged in kitchen exhaust cleaning, conducted a variety of educational programs, and worked with influential code setting bodies such as the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) to improve existing codes and regulations.
