I find it very puzzling how this company gets away with paying its employees in a very untimely manner. It is not justified at all. What does one do to stop this from happening?

I am only giving this company one star because Google will not allow me to give it a review of no stars. If you're thinking about accepting a position with this company, DON'T. I worked for them for about six months and they are, by far, the WORST company I have EVER worked for. Every paycheck was late- EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. They also bounced AT LEAST one of my paychecks, and then chose not to rectify it with the check cashing location where I cashed it, which means that now I owe the money to honor the check.

When I tried to find a check cashing location that would cash what was then my current check-- which was $80 short on the gross-- I found out that they were banned from at least one other check cashing chain because they had a history of bouncing checks and then refusing to pay the money owed. When I refused to work until they paid the check cashing the money owed on the bounced check, my previous two weeks, and the $80 gross that I had been previously shorted, they began giving me the run-around, claiming that my last check had been mailed, but could not tell me when it had been mailed.

As a result, I will subsequently be filing wage theft and retaliation complaints with the Departments of Labor in New Jersey and New York, and complaints with the New York State Banking Commission and the New Jersey State Department of Banking and Insurance as I believe that it is part of their modus operandi to willfully bounce checks to the rank and file employees. I urge all former employees who are still owed monies and/or who may have received a bounced check by them to do the same.

How is it possible your company leaves your own employees without pay for weeks and expect them to do their job without problems. You already pay them minimum already and then you play with peoples money. You should be ashamed of your company and the values. I don't know how you guys sleep at night! Seriously disgusting humans!

I very much enjoy this job that I was afforded the opportunity to undertake. I presently am in charge of cleaning a store and in addition have been asked to work other venues. I feel like there is ample opportunity to advance in this corporation with hard work and a good attitude. I especially wish to thank my supervisor Anthony and the staff at the home office. Specifically the receptionist and Mary Mendes who has helped make this transition a smooth one.

They always take at each 2 weeks to pay for a single night's work. They currently owe dozens of employees $300 for 4 nights' work that started 3 weeks ago. Don't bother emailing them about late pay because they will just ignore it.

I worked with this company for roughly 5 months, not a single check was ever on time, I was part of a 3 shift team, every shift was supposed to have 3 employees, my shift only had 3 employees for about 2 weeks, every employee would quit because of the checks never being on time. And since the shift never had the proper amount of employees work was difficult to keep up with since it was in a powder factory, our machines were always broken and supplies were always low so we would use the factory's supplies.

Management would refuse to pay to the proper pay for overnight and would refuse to pay overtime that was mandatory. This was the worst job experience I had and the factory should hire a cleaning company that can handle the job.

This is the WORST company to hire to do payroll for your employees. NOT only do they take over 2 weeks to pay or even issue your check out but ANY and EVERYTIME you call them NO one is available to take your call. Or no one is available to help with the questions you need answers to, like WHEN the hell are you sending out the checks. Convinced a bunch of pigeons work here. Probably just walking around cooing at eachother. But I'm sure even pigeons could do a better job than these people. DO NOT WORK FOR OR HIRE THIS COMPANY.

Horrible company I worked there for awhile while they were contracted with a local hotel. They were below osha standard. Unprofessional. We were working out of a electrical closet. Never kept supplys full.expected 3 people to maintain a 4 star hotel because they were too cheap to hire. I could go on for days.

I have been working for Manhattan Maintenance for almost six years. They could not be nicer or more fair. The rules and standards are clearly laid out when you start; just follow them and you won't have any problems. I love that they use only green cleaning products!
