A&E BUILDING MAINTENANCE, INC. (A&E) is pledged to practice prudent, sustainable use of the earth's natural resources and protect our environment through our ongoing, in-house training: training that includes the areas of re- use, disposal and recycling programs. We provide personal service that is quick and prompt, whatever the situation or emergency.

For Hospitals, our staff becomes an extension of your EVS teams. We understand the critical schedules and procedures in providing these services and use extreme care and attention to detail when working in Medical Centers and HealthCare Facilities. Since JCAHO certification is essential, we can assist you in preparation for certification.

They are comprised of many user groups who have a vested interest in the campus functioning properly. At A&E, we have extensive experience in providing services to many campuses. A&E has a good understanding of college and university cultures. For example, we regularly interface with not only the facility management divisions, faculty and support staff, but with the food service divisions during catering events and with the in-house maintenance groups for special cleanups.This day to day contact helps us understand the special needs of colleges and universities.

A&E HAS EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE in providing custodial services to Research Laboratories. Laboratory facilities are challenging. They are complex, technically sophisticated, and mechanically intensive facilities that are expensive to build and to maintain. They are difficult to clean and maintain since most laboratories use state of the art equipment and are often have sophisticated building configurations and equipment located in difficult settings.And most often, the laboratories are occupied continuously.
