Stanford Restoration, a St Augustine fire and smoke damage restoration company, specializes in odor/and smoke remediation. We are highly trained in all aspects of fire & smoke damage restoration. Our team of professionals are certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) in fire damage restoration.

We had Stanford Restoration come to our rental property in St. Augustine earlier this week to clean our tile and vinyl flooring. The rental was used by smokers for numerous years leaving a horrible stench throughout the house. A very nice young man by the name of Harley did the floor cleaning. It took the better part of the day to get every floor cleaned.
He did a very conscientious job of cleaning and when finished the floor looked "so good" it looked like new tile. The price of the total cleaning was very reasonable. Hats off to Harley and to Stanford Restoration for a "job well done". I highly recommend Stanford Restoration for floor cleaning.

I called Stanford Restoration for a water damage when my ice maker line broke. They had everything dry in 3 days. Once everything was dry they cleaned my carpet, tile and grout. Both look new again! They handled all the paperwork and billed my insurance company! So thankful I found them! Services: Water removal, Water damage-related cleanup & repair, Carpet cleaning

I called and asked for them to come out and clean the A/C ducts on an older home I bought in Putnam county knowing the ducts were badly stopped up causing mold around the vents throughout the house and they showed up within 2 days, SHOWED UP ON TIME WITH SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, and were able to clean everything to make it look almost brand new. I was overly impressed with the service and the technician himself was very polite and communicated very well to make sure we were happy! I could go on and on about how easy and amazing this company was to use!

Stanford Restoration completed work on our home for water damage. In the beginning they were timely in tearing the wall apart and drying it out. Once we decided to go through insurance and they had a portion of the money everything went downhill. There was a lack of communication. They showed up without telling us they were coming, then wouldn't come for weeks at a times.
The work took almost A YEAR to replace a small portion of 2 walls. They were unprofessional and completed sloppy work. They were satisfied to complete subpar work until we insisted it was completed correctly on many portions of the project. They were to repair stonework on a planter box. The stone was lined up incorrectly and haphazardly. They corrected it only after we insisted.
They had another company complete the stucco work. We told them that it was significantly cracked at the top where it met the old stucco, but they did not correct it or even call the stucco company. Not long after, we had water damage once again and the entire wall needed to be completed all over again, extending the project once again. The stucco pattern did not even come close to matching our existing pattern the first time.
It was closer after the stucco was redone. They shot a nail from a nail gun into our TV and broke the screen. They hit a water pipe in our living room and flooded the living room. They left cigarette butts in our lawn. They were uncooperative with the insurance company in providing the necessary paperwork. We later found out that they did not address all of the water damage and we had to hire another contractor to complete the other portion of the work without insurance.
The other contractor completed about 1/2 of the amount of work in less than 1 week when it took Stanford a year to complete what they did. The owner was very rude to my wife and myself. He often ignored our calls and would not call back. He said to me "you expect perfection". We expected the work to be done correctly. I would not recommend Stanford Restoration to anyone.

Stanford Restoration helped us with our water damage, mold clean up. They drove to Jacksonville to be present during my inspection with my insurance company's appraiser to ensure I was taken care of. Perry provided excellent customer service and gave me a curtesy call a month after services were completed just to make sure everything was still okay. I highly recommend Stanford Restoration.
