Bella Custom Drapery & Carpet Cleaning

I hate to leave a one star rating, but I only report what my experience was. The experience started off on a good note with phone conversation to schedule curtain and drapery cleaning service. Gary was nice and engaging and didn't mind answering my questions. I had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday, June 6th and was told to expect a phone call on Monday, June 5th so that I would be told my 4 hour window for service. Well, Monday came and went. Tuesday came and went.

Here we are on Wednesday evening and still no call. I guess my search will continue for a company that I don't have to follow up with to make sure they keep their word and appointments.

The crew of 2 men were on time, very professional in explaining work that would be done. They did an excellent job of cleaning a heavily trafficked, very dirty area rug, After it dried it almost looked new. The men vacuumed the heavy darkened dust off the drapery and dry cleaned them on premise. Again and excellent job and they almost looked new. See the picture attached to this review; they do not look like 25 year old drapery.

The sheers (which were blackened by accumulated dust) were cleaned off premises. The owner, Gary, brought them back and hung them. They were returned to their beautiful ivory color. The value of the services rendered and the revived condition of my drapery, furniture, and area rug was worth every penny spent.

We had 2 area rugs cleaned. They arrived on time, did a great job cleaning the rugs - especially the areas that were really dirty. Highly recommend! Service: Area rug cleaning

Gary was so amazing to care about the well being of my mother. Soon as he heard and understood my needs he was there in an instant. This is a business owner that took the time on a Saturday spur of the moment call. He rushed his crew over and made sure there was not a spot. My mom is able to sleep in her spotless room on her own bed after being hospitalized. He cares more than any other business owner in that industry!

Received a quote immediately while speaking with Gary and it was reasonable. After agreeing to a date/time, I continued to receive updates and confirmations from Gary. Gary's crew were able to arrive a little early and cleaned the carpet thoroughly. I appreciated their timeliness and professionalism.

Bella Custom Cleaning was a great option for our HOA's heavily used carpeted main front stairwell. Their crew was prompt, friendly and efficient - they removed years of foot traffic from the carpeted stairs to the point it looked (and smelled) like new. We have several units regularly using the stairs and each has a dog, so this is no small feat. The price quoted was the price charged, no hassle or issue there. Thank you Bella Custom Cleaning! We are planning to use them again for future cleaning projects.

Husband hired them to clean our carpet and area rugs. Every baseboard and door in our home now has dings and paint missing from apparent ramming with the machine. Our area rugs were left wavy/wrinkly and the carpet is all crunchy. This is the second time we hired them as we figured maybe the first time was a fluke but had the same experience both times. Very disappointed. Update: And the owner jumped straight to falsely claiming my review is fraudulent because the appointment was under my husband's name and not mine.

We had verge large drapes to repurpose into dividers. They were responsive, did a great job, and aid use them again gladly if we had an opportunity. Service: Drapes & curtain cleaning

Very professional, I have used them the last 3 years. employees are friendly on time and very neat. they do a great job and the carpet looks like new when they are finished. will use them again this as i use them to keep my carpet in warranty for the stain and cleaning per the carpet manufacturers directions. referred them out as well and they did the same quality to my referral as they did to my home. great people to work with.

We used Bella Custom Cleaning to shampoo our carpets before we put our house on the market. The team did a fantastic job bringing our carpets back to life - especially considering we had 3 cats. This is the best carpet cleaning business I have ever used. Family owned, outstanding employees, hands on owner, they are reasonably priced.

We had used Bella for some grout cleaning and sealing several years ago and they did a fantastic job, so when we needed an area rug and carpet pad cleaned we gave them a call. This time around we had a few issues (some probably due to a misunderstanding on our part), but when made aware of these issues Gary immediately addressed them. Sometimes things happen, I get it. To me it's more about how you deal with those issues when they do come up, and Gary and Bella went above and beyond in making sure that we were satisfied.

Called and made an appointment to have Bella clean my curtains. They were going to take the curtains down, clean them and rehang. They never kept the appointment or called to postpone. Very disappointed. Will Never call them again. Pat Stanczykiewicz Mt. Prospect, IL

Still recommended! We are frequent flyer, if you will, because we have four cats and one dog in the house. Two years since my previous review and they are still awesome! Last fall I had them clean our drapes and it was such a relief not to have to take them down and put them up myself. Bella came back and rehung the drapes and they looked great. No more cat hair on the bottom!

Just had them come and clean the same crappy carpet as before with the same crappy stains. This was the first time that I had them clean our upholstery. Martin and his sidekick did an incredibly great job. Very thorough and took great care. This was a difficult job because we have five Pet's in the house which means there is pet hair and cat gak stains everywhere on the carpet and furniture. Thanks, Bella for reducing the bio-burden in our house!

We own a linen sofa which was a little soiled from general use; Having engaged Bella to clean the sofa they performed an incorrect cleaning technique which caused browning to appear - as a subsequence to their error, the sofa is now completely ruined. Attempting resolve Bella's mistake was met with resistance and denial of their error. My only recourse is to take legal action.

I originally hired Bella to clean my draperies. They did a great job and I am completely happy with the results. After the drapes were returned to me and installed, I hired Bella again to disinfect and clean some carpeting which was damaged when rain water entered my house after a recent downpour. Again I am completely happy with the results. Bella Carpet and Drapery Cleaning does great work and was concerned that I was completely happy with the results. I met the owner (Gary) and 3 of this other employees and each of them provided great service.
